Had an absolutely wonderful experience here this morning. The broken egg biscuit has put this place on my list of favorites, even more so than The Toasted Yolk in Conroe, which is a very similar experience. Love the atmosphere and the kind wait staff who always looked busy. Our waitress Shelby was sweet and let us take our time even though we came in an hour before close. It was my first time visiting but it definitely won't be the last. Gravy was great, the pancakes were delicious, and I loved the coffee mugs. Can't wait to go again! read more

Not great. Not bad. Solid 3 stars. Went for brunch with the wife and family. The huevos rancheros and eggs benidict were both bland. Serving size were big, though. Could have easily split one order between us. Service was pretty good, too. read more

One of my favorite breakfast restaurants, with fantastic food and coffee. Whenever I have family or friends visiting from out of state, Another Broken Egg is always on the agenda. read more

We loved the breakfast here, the French toast was fantastic, and other choices of my friends on the table also were very happy with their omelet, tacos, and co. Server was very attentive and friendly, would definitely come again. read more

I stopped in here for a quick impromptu breakfast with some friends passing through. We were seated quickly, our server was efficient and knowledgeable. Our food arrived fast and hot. Overall great experience. I would recommend. read more

Menu options were great (especially kids menu); food was not oily which I really appreciate. Coffee was good. Service was very good.

Ordered orange juice, it was good. Ordered sunrise scramble which was great, delicious, with good portions of spinach and eggs. It was a great breakfast. Service was not very fast so need to plan enough time to wait but I do recommend. Parking is very easy. read more

Came here on a Saturday for brunch. We had a typical wait. Great server. Plenty of items to choose from. The food was good. Kid friendly environment. read more

My favorite breakfast place. Their bloody Mary's are infused for a week and they're the best! I've tried several dishes and have not had anything I don't like. I recommend this place. The employees are great and very friendly. read more

Sunday brunch. Many options to choose from. Our server Angel was amazing (giving him 5 stars!!!)! He took great care of us and it was a very busy day! What a great representative of Another Broken Egg. Friendly, made great suggestions, brought us a sample of a new item to try and even offered to get us refills on our drinks to go! He's a hard worker and made our dining experience exceptional! We will be back to try some more of his recommendations! read more

We had brunch here. My daughter has peanut and nuts allergy so I asked to make sure the food will be free of it. The food is really good. We love it! Unfortunately my daughters mouth turned red after her meal. It only happens to her if her food is in contact with nuts. Maybe the pan or the gloves, we don't really know. We are always careful ordering and eating outside for her. We really appreciate this place. The chef went to our table to check my daughter and tried to figure out which of which might have caused it as he was also careful when he prepared it. We appreciate this kind of service!!! Thank you. We love your place and food. Me and my husband will still come back but not the kids just because they have food limitations. read more

The atmosphere and food here is great. The staff is very professional and our server, Eddie, was excellent. He made sure our experience was that much more enjoyable. 10/10 experience. read more

The food and the service is always good here. I recently ordered the chicken and waffles, and it was delicious. The waffle was light and fluffy, while the chicken was tender. It's too bad that I don't live closer, or this would be my family's regular brunch spot. read more

Delicious breakfast place, diverse selection of omelettes and other traditional breakfast foods. It's very easy to modify things on the menu as well so you can get something 100% custom if that's what you want. Their mugs that they have keep their coffee super toasty, and it's a perfect start to a day when you leave satisfied from their delicious meals. Be sure to see Katy at the bar! read more

The staff here was phenomenal! They accommodated our large party of 22 with ease. Our food came out quickly and correctly. Our out of state guests loved the food. The beignets were also a-mazing! Thank you so much. We will be back soon. Oh and try the Lemon Fennel Bloody Mary! So good! read more

Met some girlfriends here for brunch today. It was not what I expected. The only redeeming quality was our server, Lisa. She was on point and took very good care of us. She is the extra two stars in what would have been a one-star experience. My girlfriends and I were there to catch up with each other's lives, and Lisa knew how to balance taking care of her guests with leaving them to their conversation. I was very impressed with Lisa's service; the restaurant, not so much. For starters, we made reservations so we wouldn't have to wait... and still ended up waiting a half hour. What's up with that? I ordered the biscuits and gravy. I was completely underwhelmed. The biscuits were dry, even under a smattering of greasy gravy. My scrambled eggs were good and came out hot. The one thing on my plate that I was most looking forward to, the seasoned potatoes, were the biggest letdown. They were dry and needed salt. Lots of salt and ketchup. Additionally, I don't like paying $2 for a tiny mug of hot water to make my own tea at the table. The menu was frighteningly vague, so I didn't order a second mug of water (tea) for fear of being charged another $2! At next month's brunch, I'll recommend we eat somewhere else. read more

Home-made style, hearty and comfy -like a visit to grandma's. 5 starts for its type. After building up the urge to eat here by stopping by after closing hours, finally came on a Sunday morning with a friend. Comfy ambience, prompt waiters, lots of options in the menu. Noise level was not too high, and allowed us to keep a lively conversation. Parking for this location is a very generous open parking lot, so always available spots. We both loved what we got and will definitely come back! read more

I have had quite a few different meals here, have not been disappointed yet. Always fast, fresh and hot to the table. My all time favorite is their Reuben Sandwich. So good. I highly recommend the beignets and their Bloody Mary is amazing! Side note- There's one hostess in particular that is a little rude sometimes. She can be short with you and doesn't smile. Maybe that's just her personality but hostesses should be happy to see each customer that walks thru the door since they are the first person we encounter. They set the tone for your dining experience that will follow, so please be friendly. That being said, the food totally rocks and is way worth it. There's usually a wait so get there early! read more

Food is awesome. We where here yesterday for the first time. Had the sweet potato pancakes. We are back today to try something new. She had Black Bean Benedict. I tried some and it was as good as it looked. I ordered Lafitte's Tortilla with goat cheese instead of cheddar cheese. Just like all the other entrées I tried it was delicious. For dessert we shared the cinnamon row french toast. It's sweet and light did not sit heavy on your stomach. My only complaint is that when the wait pours outside there is no where to sit. The wait seems to always be out the door. read more

1st time and won't be the last! My wife and I visited from Dallas to visit family in town and this was our choice for brunch. The decor and service were on point and the food was even better! The Floridian omelette and Southern Crabstack are 2 you don't want to miss!! read more

Great mimosas and Bloody Mary options. Sloppy looking waitstaff though. Had a male server with long stringy hair and earrings in his mid 40's who when I ordered the chocolate coffee informed me it had alcohol in it which of course I knew as I could read but I felt as though he was almost judging me for ordering coffee in the morning. But who knows. Otherwise , food was ok! Maybe management should raise their standards on whom they hire for front of house? read more

This place had a line outside to be seated but it's a big place and we were seated within 15 mins and the wait was worth it. The decor and feeling is really nice and all the staff were nice and greeted us warmly. We ordered the biscuits and benights and they were amazing! The portions are very big and prices are reasonable. The food tasted great and freshly made not pre made of microwaved. The server was very nice and kept our drinks refilled and checked up on us often. Would definitely go back and will recommend! read more

Highly disappointed to hear from the manager today that he has decided not to offer the Red Velvet pancakes for the month of February. No explanation as to why just a decision. My family and I have been going here since 2013 and currently have 740 Belly points all from this location but evidently being a faithful patron is not important. The staff there is awesome. Food is good except when it is delivered luke warm. Just don't know if it worth my business any more. read more

Another Broken Egg Cafe - February tradition - red velvet pancakes - Breakfast & Brunch Near Me - Shenandoah, Texas

Excellent food and excellent service! Best breakfast spot in the Shenandoah/woodlands area!

A local friend liked this place so we went in for breakfast. This place is very comfortably decorated and clean which made it very welcoming. The Bloody Mary with Bacon was outstanding with excellent spice and flavor. We tried the beignets which had a very complimentary sauce - very classic. With four of us there sampling all new things I could continue to tease but I'll opt to mystify and just tell you that you ought not pass this place up - because it's really good! (It'll take several trips to take it all in). read more

My first time here and it was delicious. Food was exceptional and the atmosphere was great. I ordered chicken and waffles they had the best flavor. I have ordered chicken and waffles at other brunch places but by far this cafe is at the top of my list. My date had Monterrey omelette and it also was good. We were given beignets to try. They were great! I felt as though the cafe has a cabin twist which I liked. I definitely will recommend to friends. read more

Had shrimp and grits (city style) was delicious! I give it 4 stars because they took about 20 min to even get our drink order and we had to tell 2 different people. Cranberry mimosa not that great, but the tropical sangria is bomb ! read more

One word: Yummy! I also drive 40 minutes for this particular location because the customer service and area is great. I missed the sweet outside patio on my first couple of visits that adds to the great experience, so consider that on good weather days. read more

The food has always been good (not great) along with the drinks. But the place is just too small. The hostess said 20 mins for a 2 top. After 25 mins, "Well there are 4 tables ahead of you and we can't make people leave...sooooo...15 more mins." I understand they can't make people leave, but they routinely "guess" times wrong. Either learn your restaurant flow or speed up the kitchen. read more

Breakfast was great here and the service was awesome . I am a waffle fan and normally I just like butter and syrup but this place has a chocolate stick waffle that is fabulous ...recommend this to all :) read more

Long wait but worth it. Closes at 2pm daily. Friendly staff, clean environment. Food was really good.

I don't usually write reviews but I just had to for this place. I absolutely loved it! Not from the area and was looking for a good breakfast place and Another Broken Egg was near the hotel I was staying at. I was completely blown away by the food. The pancakes are literally the best pancakes I've ever had. Our waitress Dakota was very nice and attentive. She brought us beignets for our first time visiting the restaurant. 10/10 recommend :) read more

Always awesome food & great service! Maggie was attentive and personable! We ordered the pancake trio and huevos rancheros ... both GREAT! Also the Bloody Mary is great! Highly recommend read more

I've eatin here plenty of times only because they have alcohol not because the food is exceptional but the bar was so dirty from being wiped with dirty rags that we didn't even want to sit down. The bartender couldn't be bothered to clean it and considering the wait outside we thankfully just decided to leave so the mediocre food wouldn't add to our bad experience. We chose to go to Black Bear. It's hands down soooo much better than here. Thankful to have found a new place, food and service at BB was great. The pic is my food at BB. read more

I don't even know where to begin! This restaurant hit my stomach in all the right places. We tried their beignets, they are delicious! I had the lobster omelette, the only bad thing was I wish they put more lobster meat inside the omelette not just on the outside. But everything was great. The shrimp and grits was awesome. The coffee was awesome! Try it for yourself! read more

My boyfriend and I come here all the time and we usually don't have any issues. However, last week we came here for breakfast and the news was playing on the bar TV and it was covering the George Floyd protests. Our waitress & bartender, Katie decided to go on a rant with another couple who was sitting at the bar about how she felt about the protests. Her comments were extremely inappropriate and inconsiderate. After she continued to go on and on, when she came back to our booth, I let her know that her comments were inappropriate and why but she continued to try to argue her out of place opinion about black people, the black lives matter movement, and the protesting. Mind you, my boyfriend and I are people of color but she had a complete disregard for that. She can have an opinion, thats fine, but to carry on the way that she did at her place of employment with a disregard and insensitivity for those around her was disgustingly shameful. I made the manager on duty aware of the incident and he didn't seem to have much interest in resolving it but he did say that he has had several issues with her and people complaining about her behavior at the bar. Well no surprise there... read more
