Was surprised at the alcohol offerings with their menu. The normal breakfast menu was also available. Pancakes were thin and tastes uncooked. French toast was ok. A child broke a glass on the floor at the table behind me. Waitstaff was not concerned for safety and left glass on floor for 20+ minutes while we and the family behind me ate our breakfast. read more

Never disappoints! Thank you Sara for your excellent customer service! It is always a treat to visit this location with my family! I tried the Chilaquiles this time and they were delish! Broke my diet and it was worth it! read more

This is probably the best breakfast spot I've had in all of Houston that is not a brunch-buffet. Not that brunch-buffets are better, I just happen to really like a brunch-buffet. Very creative menu but not sooo creative that you don't get that comfort feel. High quality and fresh ingredients, nice servers who give great service and prices are reasonable based on competitors. I only wish I lived closer! read more

My first visit--have been wanting to try them out & today was my opportunity! Walked in, sat at bar & was greeted by Shawn--great server! He was knowledgeable & made a few suggestions--especially after learning it was my first visit! I went with a tried & true not wanting to be disappointed! Omelette--the meat one (sorry I forgot the name) substituting potatoes for grits & added the peach cobbler pancake. Food arrived quickly, coffee is great-- Here's why only a 3 star--pancake was not cooked in the middle, grits runny & tasteless, omelette over cooked (edges crispy) I was extremely disappointed! You'd think a restaurant serving ONLY breakfast would have it mastered! I will likely try it again ONLY because the guest sitting at the bar next to me--experienced similar issues with her entree BUT advised she comes frequently & hasn't ever had this experience!! Saved by a loyal patron Broken Egg-- read more

Because we chose to be seated at the first available opening, we were seated pretty quickly (worth it to bare the sun and humidity outside). Kassy was an awesome waitress and I believe I found a favorite dish during this visit. I had the shrimp and grits and I was such a great southern-tasting dish. It even smelled like grandma's southern cuisine. Amazing! I hope to be able to get it without sausage next time because I ended up having to pick them all out and I felt wasteful (I don't eat meat). My husband had steel cut oatmeal with berries which according to him, "it was cool." So there you go :) and you can't go wrong with a Belgian waffle. I'm looking forward to returning specifically to get the shrimp and grits and hopefully they are willing to accommodate the no sausage request. read more

I have been here countless times for Sunday brunch. The wait time is never that long, even at the busiest times. I recommend getting their biscuit beignets for an appetizer. For an entree, you can never go wrong with the Floridian. This restaurant is a level above many other breakfast establishments because of the sheer amount of options given. read more

I stopped by here for a late brunch/early lunch with my Mom while visiting her side of town this morning. I've eaten at another one of their chains in Pearland recently and thought the food was good so I knew what to expect from the menu on this visit. They really do have the bases covered for a breakfast and brunch locale. Omelettes, biscuits and gravy, chicken and waffles, and healthier options including salads, yogurt and fruit plates. Of course, the healthier options are completely ignored when I'm at the table though. My Mom ordered the Supreme Omelette and I ordered the Hey Lucy! Omelette. I thought mine was great with spicy chorizo and creamy avocado with a great salsa on the side. The potatoes and English muffin were pretty standard and I actually thought the potato side was better on my last visit (not very crisp on this visit). My Mom loved her omelette as well but, after taking a bite of mine, will probably order the Hey Lucy! next time. My Mom also ordered some beignets to go and I had to try one first - wow. They were still very warm and absolutely delicious. That may be my "go to" on a future visit! The ambiance was very nice and bright, but we had serious issues with our service. I ordered water and a coffee, but I never received water with my order. I tried to flag down our waiter, or anyone working, but it was like they all went on a break at the same time. My Mom, who notoriously does not notice poor service, even made mention of it a few times. We didn't see our waiter until well after we finished our meals and asked for our check which took an additional 10 or so minutes to get to us. I would understand (and expect) this kind of service if it were a busy weekend, but this was a Tuesday morning with few tables full. This is my parent's favorite place currently and I think the food definitely warrants another visit. read more

I've been a fan of this place in the past, but this morning was pretty disappointing. Service was great when I first sat down. I ordered the veggie omelette and asked that they use something besides goat cheese....we settled on cream cheese. I wasn't informed that it would cost $1.00 for this substitution.....surely goat cheese is more expensive than cream cheese...but whatever. There's probably some fine print on the menu about substitutions. My meal came out very hot and quickly . A bus person delivered it with a smile! Unfortunately, it was tasteless. Veggies were excellent but the egg was completely tasteless. I would have enjoyed a plate of sautéed veggies more. So I needed Tabasco....I waited and waited and waited to spot my server again, in vain. I finally stopped another server to request Tabasco. Oh, and the cream cheese I had paid a dollar extra for was almost non existent. I also paid $2.79 for coffee. I have no issue with that as long as I receive plenty of fresh, hot coffee. Unfortunately, after my first cup, I received no more coffee. I had completely finished my breakfast and was waiting for the check before my server reappeared, for the first time since taking my order, to see if I needed anything else. Unfortunately, I will go elsewhere for my breakfast needs in the future. For the price of this meal, I can find somewhere that can deliver flavor and service. read more

Looks good taste bad... I asked for my egg yolks to be half hard or half cook, sausage and pancakes. I got running yolks and even the egg whites were runny sausages that tasted more like grease and pancakes that pale in comparison to others. I paid full price, left a good tip, and only ate about 7% of my meal. I let the manager know that I'm leaving hungry and will now have to get breakfast elsewhere. He and the host laughed. I know restaurants that absolutely care for there clients, this is unfortunately not on that list. If I could give them 0 stars I would. read more

I was in the area for a medical appointment and decided to drop in after my office visit as I was starving and needed a good breakfast. This place did not disappoint. It's part of a shopping center. I found parking to be plentiful. There was a slight wait though it did not take very long to be seated. It gave me plenty of time to peruse the menu so that when I was actually seated, I was ready to go. I decided to go with the small batch coffee rather than their standard line. While I'm sure their standard coffee was fine, I found the small batch to be delicious. I appreciate the fact that they offer several varieties of creamer. It's the little things. What isn't little here are their portions. I found their portions to be generous. I chose their buttermilk pancakes and was not disappointed. They were huge! Delicious. The baked bacon was good as were the eggs as they were real eggs. No powdered junk here. My server was super nice and very attentive. My coffee cup never ran dry. Speaking of, I love the design of their coffee mugs. They are handmade by Deneen Pottery in MN and are location specific. You could even purchase one to take home if so desired. I may purchase one of their limited edition models in the future as I fully plan to come back. I had a lovely dining experience here and would recommend it to anyone. read more

This was a wonderful brunch spot I have overlooked for years and I'm so glad I finally stopped in today. There was a short wait but it was a beautiful day and there was outdoor seating to wait along with complimentary coffee. The service was quick and food was great. They have a ton of brunch drink options as well, more than most in the area. Definitely be back to try more! read more

Just had my first try at Another Broken Egg. I would have given a 5 star except for 2 things. Temperature of our food was not hot. It was almost room temperature. I personally like my food to come out hot. The other issue was the lobster shell left in my Lobster and Brie. I only mentioned it to our server and management comped my dish from our check. Wow! I did not expect that! A big thank you to management. Food was delicious. Shell or not I will be back. Lots of yummy food on the menu to try. read more

The sage sausage patties are to die for!! Other breakfast items are good as well but I keep going back for the sausage patties.

Family friend brunch. This place is great for classic dad (pancakes) and foody daughter.

The staff is friendly, prices are affordable, while the food portions are generous......what's not to love!?

I think their breakfast is ok and there is something really for everyone on the menu. The portions are a bit extreme and I could do without their potatoes they throw on the plate with everything. I think most of our family appreciates the sit down service even if we would rather go to Hubbell and Hudson for breakfast. The food isn't bad it's just not as good. The waitresses and waiters are all really good. We did have one guy that was incredibly slowwww but everyone else has been really efficient and quick. The thing most lacking with the place is their coffee. It is some of the worst coffee I've head-it tastes watered down and I sort of hate even drinking it. I saw a guy with a starbucks coffee he brought into the place and to be honest I wish I had done the same. I have liked diner coffee before too-it's just this particular coffee is just bad. I'm actually taking a star off for this specifically. read more

Disgusting!!! Crab cake Benedict was awful! The potatoes were so dry and had no flavor. So disappointed I will never come back. My husband got chicken and waffles and it was mediocre at best. I should've went to snooze instead read more

First timer. My daughter who is an awesome chef and foodie treats me to breakfast most sundays after church. We had a little bit of a wait and opted to sit outside on the patio which was really nice. Unfortunately I didn't enjoy my entree, personally I prefer my food smoking hot when it's brought to the table my chicken and waffles weren't even heat lamp warm we were a party of 3 so I'm assuming my plate was prepared first because my daughters crabs cakes entree was hot and delicious!!!! So was my niece's shrimp and grits. read more

I ordered online for pickup. My order was not ready by time given when order was placed. When about to eat the food realized part of the order was incorrect. I called the restaurant and spoke to the manager who was very understanding, professional and polite. He corrected the order and even followed up before the restaurant closed for the day. That manager went far and beyond and how more managers should be. Will definitely keep going to this location. read more

Love the brunch! Great food great drinks. The biscuit beignets are amazing! Family stop for sure!

Alex and team were exceptional - menu outstanding; a once in a lifetime experience for breakfast. Our family's first time today after church-and we LOVED the entire event! Lobster omelet for me; nothing left except the plate - and beignets to make New Orleans weep with joy! Brother-in-law adored his ham, and sister-in-law had avocado toast. Clean plate club, cheerful and upbeat atmosphere, not too loud and outstanding service. We'll be back soon. Massively recommend! Thank YOU Alex! read more

Had to get here to see what all the rave was about. My friend posted a beautiful shrimp and grits dish which I just had to try. The flavors were very well put together, however the grits alone didn't taste like much. It is a beautiful dish and I'd love to try some of their other dishes. The shrimp n grits were very good, but not the best I've had. Probably wouldn't order that one again, but I would definitely try some more of their food in the future. Btw, I know this had nothing to do with the food but the bathroom was kinda gross. They need someone to monitor that situation more closely. read more

Great service by Kassy !! Everything was delicious great atmosphere, manager came by to mAke sure we were doing good !

We stopped here to have brunch on our way home from camping. We had a great experience from beginning to end. There wasn't much of a wait, even though the place was full. The service was great. Our waitress was extremely attentive and friendly. The food came fast, and everyone enjoyed it, including the kids who can be very picky. We recommend giving it a try. Was coming back from the eh city of Houston and the Woodlands is a good sign of what is to come ahead (#DTX). Went here to get a Benedict and was very sad because it's my favorite brunch dish, but the poached egg was overcooked. Felt like someone stabbed my heart ruining a Benedict for me man. JK that's a bit dramatic, but on a serious note, was just a ruining experience. Nice spot though, might give it another chance if actually have to go the eh city of Houston again. read more

What a great breakfast/brunch spot! Our Airbnb host recommended this place when we asked for a local place to eat breakfast near The Woodlands that wasn't a big chain... wonderfully friendly staff and some very unique menu offerings. I had the Toasted Coconut Quinoa Power breakfast that was loaded with 4 kinds of fruit and toasted granola...delicious!! My husband had the mixed berry pancakes that was served with warm syrup. I would definitely come back to try more of the yumminess!! read more

You can't handle the Mardi Gras omelette. Ok that was cheesy, just lIke the delicious grits. Yum!

Positively wonderful! I'm a huge lover and believer in the beauty of breakfast and I found this quaint cafe a wonderful addition to morning routines. The appetizers, omelets, and pancakes, perfectly baked and arranged. I just about died and went to heaven when they brought the orange juice. Props to the service as well. A little slow, understandable in the morning, but still attentive when they were there. Little on the pricey side, but hey, it's good. read more

This is a GREAT breakfast/brunch restaurant. My wife had the crawfish bowl and I had the Creole Benedict. We shared some French Toast. It was all AMAZING! And the City Grits were the bomb. Big Fan!!!!! Some friends of ours had a place in Mandeville, LA on the north shore of Lake Pontchartrain above New Orleans and this is where we first had The Broken Egg. This is the original. It was in and old house and the food was memorable to say the least. When we saw that they were franchising and coming to The Woodlands, we couldn't wait. I can't remember if the Mandeville location had lunch because we only had breakfast there and the bloody marys rocked. This place for sure has lunch but we went with what we know and had breakfast and bloody. The food is a ten out of ten and the service was excellent. It is a little pricey for breakfast given its strip mall location. Again in Mandeville it's an old house near the lake so there is some atmosphere. The price and food is indicative of several breakfast joints in New Orleans and it's nice to have something like that here I just wish the view from our table was not the parking lot. O Well, you can't have everything......... Where would you put it??? read more

Decent breakfast in Shenandoah area... not the greatest for a 45min wait but that is how it always is on sundays. I had the standard breakfast and I love the ability to sub in andouille sausage. We come to this location often for brunch on the weekends. Today's experience was poor in many ways. It took 35 minutes to receive our breakfast- they were not on a wait list so not very busy. Floors were dirty with food and syrup in a puddle near our table. Again, many open seats in the restaurant so not too busy. The bus boy stood up front with his phone in his bus tub and used his phone instead of bussing. Two waitstaff members argued loudly from opposite side of the restaurant and then huddled behind our table to argue again. The manager seemed didn't display any interest in our feedback. He said sorry about that and walked away. read more
