On our recent visit to Nashville, My wife and I had a long break from when we checked out of our hotel and when our flight was scheduled to leave. We decided to have a little brunch at this location. The place was packed, being a Sunday it was not surprising. We pleased to be able to be seated immediately at the bar. The bartender was super friendly and made us feel very welcomed. My apple pie mimosa hit the spot perfectly. My wife got the crab cake Benedict and I got the chicken and waffles with a side of gumbo. The food came out hot and pretty quickly. It was excellent. I'm from a smaller city in Nebraska and we came to Nashville for a family vacation. Our Air B&B is literally across the street. I will happily return to Nashville specifically for that Air B&B and the meal I had here! I had the cinnamon roll french toast and it was mind-blowing. The fresh fruit was a perfect cleanser to the thick, gooey, sweet, warm french toast. I needed no butter or syrup or anything. I don't know if I can get as good of a specialty breakfast food item back in my hometown. The prices are great. They feel more 'normal' to what I pay back home in a city of 13k vs. Nashville. They accommodated our party of 8 with ease and a great attitude. Bathroom is a 1-person and it's clean and cute. No parking other than a garage behind the place. No clue on prices. We walked less than 2 minutes from our B&B. They have a traditional menu plus all these amazing specialty items. The coffee is killer. They also do mimosas, bloody mary's, sangrias, etc. read more

We stopped by for brunch on a Monday. We had a party of 8, which were all present. When we entered the establishment nobody greeted our party and a few servers passed by us without so much as a hello. A member from our party asked to be placed on the list for a table. They said that they would clean a table and seat our party. We waited for a good 10 minutes and the table was cleared and clean. Another group of people walked in and they seated them instead. Then two more parties of 4 walked in and they sat them as well. I understand that at times it can be difficult to accommodate large parties. However, this type of service is unacceptable. We decided to leave and eat elsewhere. I was looking forward to eating here based on reviews but instead I left with disappointment. I suggest you provide a training on customer service! read more

Came here for breakfast recently with friends on our first trip to Nashville and decided to sit at the bar to eat. We were greeted by Becca who was absolutely fabulous! She was so friendly and pleasant and we really enjoyed both our meal and our conversation with her. She filled us in on what celebrities have been there to eat, she even told my husband that Eric Church had sat in the seat he was siting in once, which was so cool Next time we are in town we are definitely going back to have breakfast and to see Becca! Went here prior to leaving Nashville. For a Sunday morning, it was about an hour wait however we ended sitting at the bar which was only a 10 minute wait. The food and coffee were both good. I had the veggie omelette and my wife had the huevos rancheros. Mine was really good, my wife didn't love hers as she was thinking it would be different based on the description, but still liked it. Becca who was behind their small bar who was making drinks and was taking care of all of us eating at the bar. Not only was she non-stop busy getting all the alcoholic drinks, but she did a fantastic job making sure all of us got what we needed. She was excellent!!! Went here for breakfast in Nashville. It was good, but we weren't overly in love with the food either. We thankfully didn't have to wait, but I could see this place getting pretty busy on a weekend. The menu is pretty decent with a lot of different options for everyone. Our group ordered a couple Traditional Day starter classics which included eggs, hashbrowns, sausage, bacon or ham with an English muffin/toast. Portion size for this wasn't super sharable. It was enough for one person but to share it, you wouldn't necessarily be full. I ordered the Huevos Rancheros & shared this dish with my mom. It was more sharable than the other plate but it wasn't a big meal either. It was a little dry, not a lot of salsa or sauce on this dish. Location was really close to our Airbnb so it worked well for us. It was okay, not something I'm highly recommending or telling you to skip. read more

Ok this is the place to be for breakfast in Nash!! We were a party of 2 and went around 10 AM on a Saturday--definitely put your name on their online list before you go; there was a 30-45 minute wait if we had just shown up and waited, but we only waited for about 10 minutes after our 10 minute walk from our hotel. Our server (I forget her name but wow she was so nice!!) made many suggestions and was attentive to us the whole meal, even with a full section. Definitely try the biscuit beignets (thank you to our sweet server who gave us these for free just because my boyfriend had never had a beignet!!), the Eggs Blackstone Benedict, and the Sunrise Spinach Scrambler. Upgrade to City Grits. It's located out of the way of Broadway but and gets a split of tourists and locals. Affordable and fair priced for downtown. We had 3 meals and two cocktails under $70. We loved that there were lower fat choices and lots of different vegetable options like asparagus, mushrooms, tomatoes. You could sub out any meat with chicken breakfast sausage that was really tasty. My side of fruit was really fresh. My husband had the regular breakfast, which is like eggs, sausage, or bacon and toast and grits. The grits were so amazingly creamy. They had mimosas and different breakfast drinks. On Sunday they don't serve alcohol until 10 AM which is a Nashville or Tennessee rule. read more
