I had a wonderful time here for brunch. Our waiter was so kind and helpful. We ordered the strawberry mimosas, they make their own purée for them! It was so good. The regular mimosa was good as well! I had ordered the black stone eggs Benedict with city grits. I have never had such good grits before but they were to DIE FOR. They have bacon, cheese and scallions on them. They were seriously amazing. Also the biscuit beignets were sooo good. They come with honey and it tastes like a crunchy pancake. So so good. I highly recommend this place. I would have given it 5 stars, but the fake plants and ceiling fans had an inch of dust on them which turned me off. read more

Persistence paid off with a rewarding, amazing breakfast today...persistence, as in "is the 40 minute wait worth it?". Short answer- yes. Long answer- yes yes yes! When seated, we were greeted by a spunky, fun waitress with boundless enthusiasm and energy- and she was fantastic, as were the beignets and coffee, which kept on getting poured into the beautiful mug. Menu made life difficult with so many great options, but the Mardi Gras omelette with crowded, shrimp, and lots of other great stuff was amazing, as was my wife's dragonfruit French toast. Unique offerings, done well. An absolute treat! Cost for 2 was $38. Can't wait to visit again and work my way through the menu! read more

We ate there a number of times and always enjoyed the food and service. There typically is a wait during the weekends but it goes quickly.

This is the second cafe we've been to by this chain and it's hands down one of my favorite breakfast joints. For this location, get here early because once 9:30 am hits, you're at an hour wait or more. The wait is worth it, but if you have a part of two, you'll have better luck being seated at the bar. Rebecca is an amazing bar tender there and she owns her business. Just stand in the corner by the bar and She'll make sure you get a seat and that you don't have to fight for one at the bar. Food is hands down one of the best we've come across for breakfast. Dime Store in Detroit will always be our #1, but these cafes are very good. Day one I got the hash brown Benedict and man was that good! The poached eggs were cooked perfectly and the hollandaise was great. I chose city grits as my side and those were so tasty! My hubby got the lemon and blueberry goat cheese pancakes which were amazing as well. Day two I got the shrimp n city grits Benedict, which wasn't as great as the hashbrown ones I had from day one, but were still good. I subbed in seasonal fruit since I didn't want too many starches and the thing I loved is that it wasn't a bowl of frozen and then thawed fruit, it was fresh and seasonally relevant. The blackberries were huge and soo sweet! My hubs got the Mango and Dragon Fruit French toast, which was delicious, but there is a reason they want you to be 21 to eat it. The whip cream does have a good bit of rum in it, and sometimes it was a bit over-powering. All in all, we were so happy with this choice and the wait and we will be back to another broken egg if it's in the town of our next vacation. read more

Service was good. Bathrooms sucked. Only two and it's where everyone can see you waiting in line for it. Columbian coffee was great. Don't know how fresh things were as our chicken and waffles were warm only. Literally , just okay on the food. read more

Visiting Nashville and decided to get some breakfast here. It was a weekday, late morning, so we didn't really wait long for a table. The place is a little loud. Not a big deal. Our server was welcoming and attentive. The food was okay. Not great, but not bad. It was meh. The first time I try a breakfast restaurant, I usually get eggs benedict. It is my favorite. This one was okay. It had a gigantic piece of ham on the English muffin. See photo. My husband got the crab cake benedict. He said it was fine. On the recommendation of our server, we also got the banana fosters pancakes to try. Everything was fine. Nothing exceptional. The banana fosters pancakes were very sweet which was expected. This is petty, but I think it affects the dining experience since you eat with your eyes first. The benedicts were on these long platters with a bowl holding the potatoes. The bowl would slide around and the long plate was too big for the meal. It made it look like a smaller portion than it was. Changing to a square or round plate would look better. Putting the potatoes directly on the plate would also look better and avoid the balancing act of carrying sliding bowls on a plate. The photo of my eggs benedict shows how my plate landed with the bowl slid over to the ham. It would also mean less dishes! The coffee cups were cute. Who would seriously comment about this? Me. Haha. Isn't the point of this whole Yelp thing to guide potential customers and help businesses get better? At least in my head, it is. I would eat here again, but I wouldn't go out of my way to dine there. Service was good. Food was okay. read more

Great brunch spot off of Broadway. I enjoyed the quiet moments away from the strip and loved the hospitality by all of the staff here. We were seated with Jennah as our server who was so so sweet and brought us a 1/2 order of Beignet Biscuits with our cold brews. She was so sweet and excited that we were there to start our Sunday funday. We immediately ordered our food of a Sunrise Spinach Scramble with country potatoes and a stack of Bourbon Street Pancakes. It may not look like a lot of food but it was definitely shareable amongst 2 people. The potatoes were so soft and paired perfectly with their homemade hot sauce. I went ahead and ordered an additional amount of potatoes since they were that delicious. This place does close early yet I will make the extra time and return whenever I find myself in Nashville. Highly highly recommend for you to check it out especially if your wallet needs a break from the Broadway establishments. read more

The staff here are so incredibly nice. It was packed when I went in but I was able to get a spot at the bar almost immediately. Every person I interacted with was attentive and kind even though it was super busy. I got the Mardi Gras omelette and it was delicious, I would absolutely recommend it. It's a cute place and was good as an individual diner although I also saw small and larger groups who seemed to be having a good time too. read more

They can't cook eggs and the waitress didn't help the issue! Both of us ordered over medium eggs and both came runny like over easy. Both asked to have them redone. First only one order was redone and served very well done and flattened. Asked about the second runny eggs to be redone and she brought me one egg (only) also very well done and flattened. My dish came with two eggs so I suppose they figured I ate some of their running eggs to start with, Really?? I handed her the flattened overdone egg, got the bill paid and left. Just disappointed my wife and I and ruined our morning breakfast. Why go from runny eggs to a dried flattened well done eggs, I have no idea....it was a simple over medium order. All that was needed is to correct by cooking the corrected order a bit longer, not flat and well done! Although the waitress showed some care, she just didn't get it. She tried to defend the over medium style they serve instead of just making it right. Then defended the flat well done eggs. Wow! read more

I'm from a smaller city in Nebraska and we came to Nashville for a family vacation. Our Air B&B is literally across the street. I will happily return to Nashville specifically for that Air B&B and the meal I had here! I had the cinnamon roll french toast and it was mind-blowing. The fresh fruit was a perfect cleanser to the thick, gooey, sweet, warm french toast. I needed no butter or syrup or anything. I don't know if I can get as good of a specialty breakfast food item back in my hometown. The prices are great. They feel more 'normal' to what I pay back home in a city of 13k vs. Nashville. They accommodated our party of 8 with ease and a great attitude. Bathroom is a 1-person and it's clean and cute. No parking other than a garage behind the place. No clue on prices. We walked less than 2 minutes from our B&B. They have a traditional menu plus all these amazing specialty items. The coffee is killer. They also do mimosas, bloody mary's, sangrias, etc. read more

Went here for breakfast in Nashville. It was good, but we weren't overly in love with the food either. We thankfully didn't have to wait, but I could see this place getting pretty busy on a weekend. The menu is pretty decent with a lot of different options for everyone. Our group ordered a couple Traditional Day starter classics which included eggs, hashbrowns, sausage, bacon or ham with an English muffin/toast. Portion size for this wasn't super sharable. It was enough for one person but to share it, you wouldn't necessarily be full. I ordered the Huevos Rancheros & shared this dish with my mom. It was more sharable than the other plate but it wasn't a big meal either. It was a little dry, not a lot of salsa or sauce on this dish. Location was really close to our Airbnb so it worked well for us. It was okay, not something I'm highly recommending or telling you to skip. read more

Amazing breakfast!! We were lucky to beat the rush and got seated within 10 minutes of arriving. The hash brown eggs Benedict was fabulous. The crispy potato mixed with ham and cheese with poached eggs and hollandaise sauce. The side order of bacon was crispy. The French toast which I didn't try but was told it was very good. The beignets were good but nothing like New Orleans. I would definitely have had breakfast here again had it not been our last day. read more

Came here for breakfast recently with friends on our first trip to Nashville and decided to sit at the bar to eat. We were greeted by Becca who was absolutely fabulous! She was so friendly and pleasant and we really enjoyed both our meal and our conversation with her. She filled us in on what celebrities have been there to eat, she even told my husband that Eric Church had sat in the seat he was siting in once, which was so cool Next time we are in town we are definitely going back to have breakfast and to see Becca! I wish we had taken some pictures of our food, my husband's French toast was so tasty and my egg sandwich with chicken and sausage gravy with a biscuit was really yummy and the biscuit was perfection! read more

On our recent visit to Nashville, My wife and I had a long break from when we checked out of our hotel and when our flight was scheduled to leave. We decided to have a little brunch at this location. The place was packed, being a Sunday it was not surprising. We pleased to be able to be seated immediately at the bar. The bartender was super friendly and made us feel very welcomed. My apple pie mimosa hit the spot perfectly. My wife got the crab cake Benedict and I got the chicken and waffles with a side of gumbo. The food came out hot and pretty quickly. It was excellent. I loved how chill the vibe was here even though you could tell they were super busy. Next time we come to town, we'll make sure to visit again! read more

Went here prior to leaving Nashville. For a Sunday morning, it was about an hour wait however we ended sitting at the bar which was only a 10 minute wait. The food and coffee were both good. I had the veggie omelette and my wife had the huevos rancheros. Mine was really good, my wife didn't love hers as she was thinking it would be different based on the description, but still liked it. Becca who was behind their small bar who was making drinks and was taking care of all of us eating at the bar. Not only was she non-stop busy getting all the alcoholic drinks, but she did a fantastic job making sure all of us got what we needed. She was excellent!!! So sweet, with a nice smile AND a great attitude even with her quickly doing everything that was needed. Kudos to you Becca!! read more

We stopped by for brunch on a Monday. We had a party of 8, which were all present. When we entered the establishment nobody greeted our party and a few servers passed by us without so much as a hello. A member from our party asked to be placed on the list for a table. They said that they would clean a table and seat our party. We waited for a good 10 minutes and the table was cleared and clean. Another group of people walked in and they seated them instead. Then two more parties of 4 walked in and they sat them as well. I understand that at times it can be difficult to accommodate large parties. However, this type of service is unacceptable. We decided to leave and eat elsewhere. I was looking forward to eating here based on reviews but instead I left with disappointment. I suggest you provide a training on customer service! read more

I would eat here everyday if I didn't mind gaining 100 pounds in a year. This place is busy so I went on Yelp and got on the waitlist, which was 80 minutes at 9:30 am. Got there at 10:30 and were seated within 10 minutes. After ordering, they bring you some Biscuit Beignets, covered in powdered sugar with a honey, citrus dipping sauce. Incredible! My wife ordered the Bacquezo Omelette that was essentially an omelette with chorizo. However, the chorizo was super high end (not your normal Walmart brand chorizo in a tube). Great flavor. My Hash Brown Benedict was awesome! They stuff the hash browns with ham and cheese and the eggs and sauce on top were perfection. I added sour cream, cheese and bacon to the home fries, because everything is better with bacon! Just an absolutely incredible breakfast that I would give more than 5 stars to if I could. Definitely a place that is worth a one hour wait to get in and someplace I plan on going back to tomorrow morning. read more
