We went here for birthday brunch. I'm a native Nashvillian and I'd never been before. First the food, it was great my Brother-in-law built it up and I have to say it delivers. My wife got the Huevos Rancheros which was very good. We got chocolate chip pancakes for the kids which my six year old devoured. The real star was there seasonal carrot cake pancakes which is what I had they were pretty amazing. In our party of twelve everyone liked what they got. The price was also reasonable. Now to the reason this is a four star and not a five star review. The service was good the wait staff was attentive and friendly, but they forgot half our parties food, I will give them the benefit of the doubt on this as they were extremely busy and we were a large party. My real problem was the wait time I've eaten downtown before and I've been to trendy places but the wait time was about 45 minutes. I know what you're thinking you guys had a party of twelve, that's true but the wait time was pretty long for smaller parties as well between 30-45 mins. I even did my research and downloaded an app called no wait which had been advertised to me as being to put your name on the wait list while in transit only to discover that parties of 7 or more couldn't use the app ( by choice of the restaurant) which is there prerogative but it would been nice to know we could've gotten their earlier. All of that said we would definitely eat there again the food is to good not to. Maybe they'll bring a franchise to Franklin or Murfreesboro one can dream read more

I love another broken egg. They have amazing gluten free options and are a solid spot for a long brunch with friends. They have a lot of variety in their brunch dishes which is fun and different. read more

BEST BREAKFAST IN NASHVILLE!!! The food was delicious and there were so many different options on the menu. Our waitress Christine was great and made a great experience even better! Recommend putting your name on the waitlist through Yelp as the wait time can be up to an hour but by doing that we got in within 5 mins! read more

Very busy at breakfast time, but the wait wasn't bad! Food was delicious and service was friendly.

We had the best breakfast at Another Broken Egg Cafe this morning. Great eggs, bacon and delicious beignets. Our waitress Becca was phenomenal. Friendly, professional and fast. I would highly recommend this cafe. read more

The food and service here was excellent! I plan on coming back again, even though I'll only be in Nashville for a few days. We had omelettes. I was stuffed and there was no way I was leaving any food there so I got a to go box and damn I was excited. Turns out a bunch of homeless people were just down the block and asked for my leftovers and damnit... they needed it more than me so it was an easy decision. Now I'm really mad because I was super excited about those leftovers and someone else gets to enjoy them. It ruined my day. read more

My husband and I stopped here at the end of June on a road trip to Atlanta. We placed an order an hour before we would arrive to ensure the food would be ready when we got there. When I arrived, they were just finishing up our order so I paid and waited. After 5 minutes, I asked if my order was ready and the waitress said that it was actually going to be another 20 minutes. I was incredibly disappointed because I had already paid and we were quite hungry. Again, we placed our order over an hour ago at this point. After 20 minutes, the waitress said that it would be another 10 minutes but she would give us free beignets. At this point, I just wanted my food so I could leave. It came out 5 minutes later. The food was fine but not good enough to make up for a 30 minute wait. Very disappointed that our food was not there when we asked since we ordered well ahead of time! read more

Busy Tuesday AM. Still prompt, polite service. Our server, Patrick, made great recommendations and was very professional and friendly. I would highly recommend this place for breakfast while in Nashville. Great alternative to hotel breakfast. read more

Terrible is an understatement. Arrived at 1pm, were seated, after 15 minutes someone came to tell us that SOMEONE ELSE would be coming to take care of us with waters.... then came back and gave us waters 5 minutes later... then asked if we knew what we wanted---(eggs Benedict- side of biscuits and gravy- coffee, water and a Bloody Mary) took our order and left... 5 more minutes for us to get our coffee.... 3 more for the Bloody Mary. The fact that they call what they gave us a Bloody Mary is disgraceful.... no olives, no pickle... nothing but mix and vodka.... Finally our food arrives.... I couldn't even eat it. I do not recommend this place. Service was terrible... actually non existent.. there was no one even there. Food was mediocre at best. Do not eat here. read more

Had to wait 45 minutes but it was totally worth the wait! I got the lobster and Brie omelet and it was hands down the BEST omelet I have ever had! Service was a little slow but was not too bad. For sure coming back! read more

In short, the service is mediocre, the food is terrible, and it's expensive. Eat somewhere else. We used the NoWait app to reserve our place in line. This was the best part of the experience. It's not well advertised though and there was no host at the stand when we got the alert our table was ready. The other patrons accosted is for being placed ahead of them. I explained the app while we waited for a host, but it was uncomfortable. Once we were sat, we ordered right away. It took 40 minutes for our food to arrive at the table. My daughter ordered chicken and waffles, I had pancakes with scrambled eggs, my husband had a skillet (on special). The food arrived cold and dry. The portions were small and the food was flavorless. Out total with drinks - 2 orange juices and a coffee (before a tip) was $50.93. All around it was very disappointing. My recommendation is to walk up the street to Puckett's. We will not be eating here again. read more

I struggle with a 3 star but the food wasn't terrible but wasn't anything to write home about either. The service was awful!!! We got our food before we even got our pop. It's like our waitress disappeared. But my son was there right before us and said their service was great and so was the Bloody Mary. read more

Looking to try a new breakfast spot on this visit to Nashville and Yelp let me to this spot. I love that you can access the wait list directly from Yelp, so when I arrived I had a very short wait which was helpful since the place was full. Alesha was my server and she was very attentive and did a great job. I ordered the Hey Lucy omelette and a lemon blueberry pancake. Unfortunately, both were disappointing. The omelette was severely over cooked and it was clear that the eggs died a slow torturous death. The chorizo was mainly lacking, but there were plenty of green chili's. I went with the city grits over potatoes or traditional grits, and this was star of the show. So damn flavorful, the combination of the grits, cream cheese, bacon, and green onions reminded me of a twice cooked loaded bake potato - definitely a must order. The lemon blueberry pancake with goat cheese was okay at best. The pancake itself was over cooked and dry. After that it really did not matter. If they pay better attention in the kitchen, the food could have matched the service. read more

This is the absolute best breakfast place I have been to. The staff is so friendly and there's very quick service. It's right in town so there is much to do while you wait for a table and if you don't want to wait there's an app to hold your spot. The food is delicious-- they have so many options and everything is absolutely fantas Update: Broken egg never got in contact with me about this. Not good customer service read more

I wish I could give this place 6.9 stars because Becca absolutely crushed it. Like she's so good at her job it is mind blowing. I've never seen someone that can multi task as well as Becca. My name is Nick Hess and I approve this message. read more

Beth was our server and she was amazing! She had to accommodate three separate parties at the same time, which would be stressful to most, but she handled it with grace! The drinks and food came out way sooner than expected and her attitude was extremely positive. I look forward to visiting Nashville again, and having Beth as our server! read more

Food was absolutely delicious. This is a 4 star review because of the service. I ordered the lobster and brie omelet and it was very good. My girlfriend ordered shrimp and grits and again was very delicious. Now for the server. We sat, waited at least 10 minutes before being asked about drinks. Ordered coffee and two coffees came right away, the other two he forgot about and took 15 mins. I had to ask about the coffe and his reply was..." thanks for the reminder". He poured water into my sprite. So the service was not favorable for us, but the good was delicious. read more

We got the second to last available table and it was 9:15 AM. Server was slow but we placed our order about 9:30. Our drinks ran out before our food arrived. Our pancakes and waffles came out at 10:03. The most flavorful items were the sausage and the chicken. Good food but not quite great. And the server shorted me of my change. read more

The seating situation was actual torture. I was in a party of six and we were asked multiple times to split up. Like chill we wanna stay together. It took forever to get seated even after we joined he waitlist on Yelp. Once we got over that, our server was super nice and the food was DELICIOUS! I got the seasonal carrot cake pancakes and we got a few mimosa pitchers. read more

I HIGHLY recommend this restaurant. We are here from Michigan and I have told all my friends who visit Nashville they need to come here. My boyfriend got the Brisket Benedict and I got the Blackstone Benedict, and now we are going to blows over who's was better (joking). The strawberry mimosa pitcher was to die for, and the food is absolutely awesome. I considered flying my mother in from Michigan just to try the Eggs Benedict (not joking). The service was also great and our waiter was very kind and attentive. I would absolutely come back here again. read more

Delicious food! Can be a wait so consider using the yelp get in line feature. Definitely worth a stop and great location.

Everything on their menu looks amazing; settled on the Southwest Scrambler and it was sooo delicious -hit the spot after a night on Broadway. NOT worth the wait. After waiting over an hour for our food, we were disappointed in the quality of food. It's just an upscale Dennys. The Southwest Scrambler was cold and the grits were nothing to brag about (I'm being as nice as possible here ). I was beyond disappointed and I surely will not return!!! At the same time, because you're my dear Yelp friends, I don't wish this experience on you either. Stay Away.... read more

Amanda, our server, was top notch and very pleasant to work with. This meal receives five stars, however my dads omelet was a touch overcooked and Moms biscuit was a little overdone, but all in all this was a great meal. Would absolutely recommend! Another Broken Egg Cafe - THIS! Cinnamon Roll French toast was amazing! Paired with two eggs cooked to order and a choice of meat. This is a hearty meal. - Breakfast & Brunch Near Me - Nashville, Tennessee

Nashville: don't bother. I suppose this place has 4.5 stars because its located downtown and tourists like it. Nothing wrong with that and perhaps we're spoiled here in Nashville, but it was a subpar dining experience for certain. BLUF: overpriced and under delivered. First, we were told 20 minutes for the wait. Fortunately there is a coffeeshop close by to stifle my appetite, because we ended up waiting 45 minutes. That wouldn't have been that big of a deal but after we ordered it was another 30 minutes before the food arrived. I ordered the Floridian omelette which I read consisted of a cream cheese omelette with crab, cheese and onion. What it really consisted of was a semi-cold, semi-fried egg folded over with some crunch, a light layer of cream cheese in the very middle of the omelette (not spread over) and some cold crab sitting on top. Blah. The "country potatoes" were really mini, unseasoned fries with no flavor. The redeeming factor of these was a pepper sauce like a catsup on the table. My wife ordered the bacon, gouda, onion, garlic grits and a cinnamon role. The grits were cold and while they may have had the mentioned ingredients, they weren't put together in a fashion that made sense. I could probably go on but why bother. read more

We ate at the bar (no wait) and Becka and Terry were fun and great service.

Great little breakfast spot located just a block behind all the action on Broadway. We were impressed with their very large breakfast menu and super cute interior. I was excited to see a gluten free pancake in the menu, which is a nice change from eating eggs all the time. My friend had the sweet potato pancake and said it was amazing. They had a bunch of eggs benedicts that sounded very interesting including one served over black bean cakes. Our serve was older and seemed very overwhelmed by the 3 tables she had but otherwise great experience and reasonable prices for breakfast. read more

Awesome Breakfast Place. Our server Kassandra was the best. Recommended a great dish. A must if you are in town.
