I love breakfast and this restaurant did not disappoint. Their menu is incredibly diverse and I had a hard time choosing my meal. I opted for the hash brown Benedict and it was everything I could've wanted. I also opted for the tomato hollandaise instead of the mushroom one that comes with it because I'm just not a fan of mushrooms and it was a great swap. That tomato hollandaise was so tasty, I had to ask for extra. I opted for fresh fruit on the side and it was so ripe and sweet. I usually get nervous to order fruit at places because you never know if it's gonna be fresh, frozen or ripe, but this was definitely fresh and super ripe and delicious. I didn't get a drink of any kind but their mimosas looked amazing and I love that you can get a pitcher (I would've totally gotten a drink or two but I was getting a piercing after and they advise against it). I would definitely recommend this place to anyone going to Nashville. read more

I have ate at two other ABE Cafe's in Alabama (Huntsville and Mountain Brook/Birmingham) and have never been disappointed! Food was amazing! Egg nog was a tad too strong for me so I switched to a peach bellini. Very good! I had the huevos rancheros with a side of french toast. Our waitress, Taylor was great as well. Definitely encourage her if you see her! read more

I first tried this chain in Louisiana, not realizing they had locations elsewhere. I'd traveled to New Orleans for a signing and had another a week later in Nashville. I was overjoyed to learn there was Another Broken Egg there too. I wanted my sister and niece, who were along for the trip, to experience this place. We had a terrible hotel experience and so a great breakfast would help to smooth our frazzled nerves. We were not disappointed. There was a line-up outside and the wait was an hour and a half. Give this restaurant was downtown, we decided to walk around and do a bit of shopping. The hostess even took my number to text when our table was ready. There were many nice gift shops close by and so the wait went fast. I had my phone on sound and vibrate, but it didn't register when the text came through. We had missed the text by 20 minutes or so and so I texted back to explain and they said we still had a table and to come over. We were seated immediately and greeted by our server Mariah--who was spectacular. She took our drink order. I decided to try a lemon blueberry mimosa, which was heaven itself. As on my previous trip, I got the lobster-brie omelette with two little gluten-free pancakes and city grits. My sis got the same. My niece pieced together a breakfast off the sides menu of biscuits and gravy, a pancake, two eggs, and country potatoes. The food was just as phenomenal as it had been in NOLA. This place literally serves the best breakfast I've ever eaten. The coffee is wonderful too and the cups personalized and hand made. They do sell them for $20, but it would kill my soul to pay that for a coffee mug LOL. Mariah came back to check on us often and kept the coffee filled. She was warm, personable and had a wonderful sense of humour. We really enjoyed talking to her and she is amazing at her job, though I told her I see her heading up her own corp. If you want an upscale kind of breakfast with quality ingredients, a sophisticated, upgraded menu and servers who go the extra mile, eat here. The price tag is a bit higher than your other chain breakfast places, but who cares?? This one is WELL worth it. I hope they have one of these in every city I ever visit! read more

This reminds me of a very standard brunch place ( like Cora's, or the breakfast place that you went to in high school ). There is a very large and interesting selection of options, but nothing is particularly high quality. They try to sell a lot of alcoholic drinks, which is not great for a weekday breakfast, but would be great for a weekend brunch. The omelettes we got were good, but definitely salty and nothing particularly amazing. This is a great spot to go for breakfast, but it just won't be amazing. read more

While on my New Years adventure through Nashville, it was time to find a place for brunch and we stumbled onto this interesting breakfast place. We were able to take advantage of the yelp reserve a table feature which helped with our wait time. We only had a 20 minute wait while walkins waited about 45 or so. It gets packed, so definitely use the reservation option. Decided to get creme brûlée French toast and it was definitely filling... very sweet though, so if you aren't a fan of the sugar, I would stay away. They also had some great drinks, from mimosas to Bellinis and some spiked lattes.. Don't worry you will enjoy this place. read more

This place is they worse... I went there for brunch. I got there around 1155am. I didn't get my meal until 1240pm. The food was nasty and my eggs was not cook all way thru. They only thing that made they experience worth the wait was my waiter. He was super nice, and he check on my continuous. He even offered me free pastries help with the wait. Overall I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. read more

This place is fantastic! We went on a Friday morning. Had the best server, I'm so sad I can't remember his name, but he was fantastic. We all got different things and shared a couple bites. The bacon was phenomenal!! The eggs Benny was amazing too! Great flavors. Good prices. Great service! Great drink options too, we shared a grapefruit mimosa pitcher, it went super quick! This place was a great start to our day in Nashville! Would definitely go back! read more

There are so many places to get breakfast in Nashville so when you're visiting for the first time and only have two days to get breakfast, you want to make sure you pick the right spot. I thought this place was going to be a win but unfortunately, it was not and quite frankly was a huge waste of time. Found this place on Yelp and since it had decent reviews and a picture of a Bloody Mary I figured we would give it a shot. Yelp indicated there was a wait, so I added my name to the waitlist and headed on over. I was told there would be a table ready for us at 11 and we walked in at 11 on the dot, spoke with a host and she told us a table would be ready shortly, great. We took a seat in the waiting area and after 3 minutes or so, we noticed two seats at the "bar" opened up and so we took a seat there instead of continuing to wait for a table. The place was busy, very diner-y, I felt like i was at an IHOP, not like I was in a cafe in downtown Nashville. We took the seats at the bar immediately after people left so there was a powdered sugar mess and their leftover wrappers etc at the bar space when we got there. One of the girls who worked behind the bar area came over shortly after to wipe it up. They had a cocktail menu with several different kinds of Bloody Marys, champagne cocktails, etc. You could order pitchers of Mimosas or Bloody Marys here, which I thought was super cool. They also had hot pepper infused vodka that they used for their Bloody Marys. We were able to see the massive container with the pepper and vodka and that was pretty cool. Probably the coolest thing about the entire experience though. The menu was pretty big, omelettes, pancakes, french toast, shrimp and grits. I went with their "skinny omelette" which consisted of an egg white omelette, goat cheese, roasted red peppers, green onions, asparagus and roasted garlic cloves. It was also served with a plain english muffin and a side of fruit. White english muffins and goat cheese definitely isn't healthy so I don't know if calling this breakfast a skinny omelette was really fair, but anyways, I'm being extra picky because of how horrendously long the wait was to receive our food. My boyfriend got the shrimp and grits. We waited over 50 minutes for our food to come out. It was irritating beyond belief, especially since the bartender/servers didn't bother to comment on the fact that the food was taking forever. It would have been nice of them to recognize that we were waiting forever. Hey, I get it's not the servers fault that food takes a while, I would never blame a server for that, but at the same time, saying something like, "Hey guys, sorry about the wait on the food, do you want a coffee or a glass of OJ or something?" That would have gone a long way with us. We were not the only ones irritated, a girl siting near us said she waited 45 minutes for her pancakes. I think that's just insane. My food was just okay, too many green onions on top that made the omelette taste funny. The fruit was fresh, it was pineapple, cantaloupe, grapes and strawberries. My boyfriend said his shrimp and grits were just okay. Moral of the story, it wasn't worth the wait. I was especially irritated because this was our last day in Nashville, the most beautiful day outside and we waited two hours sitting inside a diner restaurant waiting for food that didn't blow us away. Wish we went elsewhere to be honest. Oh my, I just discovered this place is a chain, that explains a LOT. read more

Most breakfast places are basically the same.. Another Broken Egg Cafe is no different than any other. Nothing special, food was just fine.

Had the most delicious brunch here. The customer service is impeccable too. Going to come back everytime I am in the city.

My favorite lunch restaurant downtown. Still working the bugs out with reopen and takeout. Ordered an omelette, coffee, grits. In the comment sections typed in the things you would think should be obvious (please add napkins, creamer, sugar, butter, jelly. Picked it up..none of that stuff was in the bag. If you order online, pick it up early. It will likely be done early. The servers and hosts are extremely nice. Next time I will just eat inside where this place shines! Food was excellent BTW. read more

Apparently I was so hungry and excited to dig in I forgot to take pics of my food, darn it! Everything tasted just as good as it looked. First time in Nashville, got a late start and technically showed up close to lunch time... maybe 11-11:30. Super convenient location in downtown, was seated quickly. I had the peach cobbler pancakes and they did not disappoint. Loved their fresh fruit. Wasn't your typical melon and pineapple bowl, instead they give you amazing fresh strawberries, blueberries and bananas :) Our waiter could've been a bit more friendly but he wasn't rude, just a little dry. Cafe looked clean and although food took a little, it was worth the wait. Check this place out! read more

While I was in Nashville my buddy who is a local told me about this amazing breakfast spot he had to take me to. He kept talking about this place called another broken egg. Another broken egg is definitely a hidden gem in Nashville and I will be coming back every time I'm in the city. Another broken egg is located on commerce street at the corner of third Avenue. They serve traditional breakfast food with a lot of options for the health conscious. The menu have a lot to offer and the quality of the food was spectacular. Some of the regular items they had our bananas foster pancakes lemon blueberry goat cheese pancakes cinnamon roll French toast and bananas foster Belgian waffle. The lobster in Bree omelette crabcake and fried green tomatoes and the eggs Blackstone Benedict. I myself am a huge fan of eggs Benedict. May not be the healthiest but it's so good. My buddy ordered the bananas Foster French toast and I had to go with the eggs Blackstone Benedict. The eggs Benedict was absolutely amazing it completely blew me away. Everything was cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. The potatoes that came with the eggs Benedict were really good also they were cut up into little cubes and you can tell that they were freshly cut. Overall I would 100% recommend anybody coming here another broken egg was absolutely amazing I wish that they had one of these in New York because I would go there at least once a week I will definitely be back every time I'm in Nashville. In town visiting and this looked like a good place for an omelette. I eat a keto diet so I ordered 2 Supreme omelettes with just bacon, sausage, onion, goat cheese, & avocado. It's amazing and I ate every bit of it plus a side of bacon! They gave me an English muffin even though I said I wanted no sides. I wish they wouldn't do that, so it wouldn't get wasted. Great low-key casual spot for breakfast. Very unassuming, from the outside looks like some bad chain restaurant. Inside though, the friendly staff and great food/drinks put that to rest. The bloody mary's are insane (get the pepper infused vodka one), mimosas are also top notch and offer pitchers! Had several of their menu items; the biscuits and gravy were fantastic, they had a jalapeño waffle topped with brisket while I was there- it was so good I wanted to get another. First time I visited this establishment in Nashville. I used the waitlist on Yelp. Walked in to a 30 minute wait and was seated in 5 minutes. Started out with a loaded bloody mary. WOW. Fantastic! Had a slight bite to it and very refreshing. Had the cinnamon roll french toast. Thick and hot with very nice, fresh fruit accents. Out of this world. I don't frequent downtown Nashville much so this place will never get old. A must try for breakfast or brunch. Easy five stars. read more

Becca was amazing!! Go sit at the bar and try her amazingly tasty creations!!!! The food and atmosphere was perfect!!!

I have visited this place twice and it is a decent breakfast spot. They have a variety of breakfast items to choose from...I have gotten the Southwest Scrambler before and the only issue I had was that the guacamole was brown...the Mardi Gras Omelette is good if you love crawfish and shrimp! The grits are really creamy! The servers are always friendly and accommodating! I think the Mimosas are a little pricey though...there is plenty of room to sit but you just have to be mindful that since the restaurant is downtown parking may be limited read more

Food was amazing, service was ok! I ordered Eggs Blackstone Benedict with the City Grits and my boyfriend ordered shrimp and grits. We had an order of beignets to start that we're rather tasty. The only reason for giving 4 stars is due to the service. Our server greeted our table promptly but forgot to bring our drinks. After 5 min he came back to the table and realized we still had no drinks. He quickly ran to get them. Then when the bill was delivered, we sat at the table for about 8-10 min waiting for him to come back and collect our payment. Overall, we were satisfied. read more

Outstanding service and food. Went there on a whim trying to find some decent breakfast and was not disappointed

My husband and I were seated and then another table was seated 3-5 minutes after us, they got their food first and even finished eating before we said something to the manager that our food hadn't arrived yet. From the time we sat down and ordered until our food got to our table it was one HOUR. Then, after taking a few bites I found a black hair in my food. I have blonde hair. We called the manager back over and she did cover the food for us which was nice. But overall, the price is not even worth the service or wait times for the "quality" of the food. We've eaten at this restaurant in Florida and loved it. However, the one in Nashville, TN... didn't love it. read more

Amazing! I honestly would have given a higher star rating but for the service. It wasn't terrible, just underwhelming and curt. I started with A Bloody Mary and it was great with just the right amount of spice. I had chicken and waffles... pretty standard southern fare. The honey syrup made this dish great. The bacon...OMG! I talked about the bacon for days afterward. It was perfectly prepared. Not too thin with the perfect amount of crispiness. read more
