Came here during COVID in late September and just spotted the place while we were walking by the night before. We got there rather late in their day since it closes at 2:00 so the pictures I have uploaded will be baron or devoid of people but prior to thing the pics it was comfortable crowded and we had to wait for 20 minutes for our 4-top table. It has been a long while that I have been to a breakfast place where I really had a hard time selecting what I wanted from 3 or 4 options. After picking one of the options one of my other party members got my second place choice and I must admit I would have been equally pleased by either choice The have 2-single occupant restrooms and the"waiting line" is not obvious so be prepared to speak up if someone inadvertently cuts the line ... The seating options are all good and the booths (which I am never a fan of) provide plenty of space and the seat cushions didn't sink so much that I felt the table was at my chin level...I'm NOT a tall guy so it's often a perceived issue for me... The wait staff, bartender, and host were all very gracious and very friendly. I would gladly go back save for my desire to always try new places.....it's a double edged sword and a burden I carry... read more

My boyfriend and sat at the bar and Becca was our bartender. She offered great service and was very friendly. They offer many gf options (even a gf guide)! I had the bourbon pancakes which were rich and delicious. My boyfriend had the benny and wow was the ham impressive. Also, their sausage patties are homemade and have a good unique sage flavor. Fun spot off the main drag. read more

We are tourists so it's a shot in the dark on what is here, the menu is promising and a lot to choose from, I got the crab cakes egg Benedict, food came out cold, not even warm just cold. One of the eggs was cooked perfectly the other was practically raw on the inside, you have to get here early, by 9am there was a line outside. read more

Great southern style breakfast. Service was quick and friendly. No pics because I ate all the food. Yum. Biscuits and gravy tasted great. Sausage great. I recommend. Becca was our server. Kudos for caring for us and starting our day out with a smile. read more

great food. the hash brown eggs benedict were tremendous great service. they do charge a credit card surcharge of 2.5%

My mother and I spent the night in Nashville, TN while traveling from Austin, TX to Richmond, KY for my cousin's wedding this past fall. As someone with Celiac's, I was excited to see what the city would offer in the way of GF dining options and I was not disappointed. After looking over all options near to our hotel, I decided that Another Broken Egg Cafe was our best bet for a delicious and Celiac-safe breakfast. Holy cow! I was NOT disappointed! First of all, I was very pleased with the speed and quality of service. Even though it was a crowded day, we were promptly seated on the covered outdoor patio. It was a beautiful day, and we were asked our seating preference before being seated, so we very much enjoyed being able to soak in the (indirect) morning rays. The second point I would like the mention is the server who assisted us. She was so incredibly friendly and offered fabulous suggestions when we were selecting our menu options. I informed her that I had celiac's and she was so understanding of my wanting reassurance that the food was safe - it was, but I've been burned before so this made me feel very confident in our decision to eat here! Finally... THE FOOD. There haven't been many safe breakfast/brunch items for me that have made my mouth water and my heart beat a little faster, but this meal definitely made me happy beyond measure. Absolutely incredible and delicious! My only regret is that they haven't opened a location in Austin yet! I guarantee that if they do, I will be the first to visit!! The bananas foster was definitely a dream come true. read more

I've been to this place when I was living in Indianapolis. It's a pretty cool spot. So we all went to Nashville for our family reunion, and decided to come here on the Sunday we left. The experience was ok, not to much bad stuff to say about this joint. Food was decent read more

Becca was the best! So patient with our big party. She answered all our questions and made wonderful recommendations. I had biscuits & gravy - big meal & fruit on the side. Hubby had eggs Benny- also great - hash browns were deep fried, so not ideal, but all in all great. read more

AMAZING! We tried to find something wrong with this place but could´nt. The waiter suggested the city grits and seriously the best thing I have ever tasted! They bloody Mary's were pure perfection. The Benny and the cinnamon roll French toast were to die for! Best breakfast hands down... ever! thank you Nashville! read more

The food is great, and totally worth the price. We were honestly too hungry to remember photos, but it was enough for us to get full and still have leftovers. It didn't take long to get our orders, and the server was great about checking on our table. The inside is well decorated and made us feel at ease. Also, they are serious about the wait times. Once you get the text that your table is ready, you have 5 minutes to have the entire party inside the building. They even texted me a 3 minute warning when I was hauling it to the building!! But I understand why. Would totally go again!!! read more

Another short and sweet review! Service was spot on, place is clean, food was outstanding. What more can you ask for?

Wait time was long but not a factor in this rating. 4 adults and we ordered chicken and waffles, eggs and bacon plate with toast, eggs Benedict and biscuits with gravy and sides of bacon and sausage. Chicken and waffles looked like a waffle with 3 chicken nuggets. The chicken was so little. Waiter brought more chicken but as my friend was eating his waffle he cut into it and there was a piece of plastic he pulled out of the waffle. The plastic cooked with the waffle batter. Staff apologized. Food was good but the plastic was a big issue. The bacon is awesome. The bloody Mary's are also delicious. read more

If there was a 4.75 stars I'd give it to this restaurant. The food was PHENOMENAL! Our group had a little bit of everything; French toast, Eggs Benne, Beignets, Bloody Mary's, and Mimosas. It's a busy place! From talking to another patron they are that busy from open to close most days. We sat at the bar, so only had about a two minute wait (I feel like we lucked out for sure!) The bartender was a little gruff at first, (hence the 4.75s) , but the longer we sat there I think she was just really busy and extremely efficient, I'd sit at her bar anytime! The cafe is just a little off Broadway, a short walk from our hotel. Great place! read more

We had brunch, the food and service was great! I would recommend it for breakfast or brunch!

I graciously gave this place one star because it was the minimum required to even leave a review. We ordered the smoked salmon Benedict (which came on a bagel? with no hollandaise sauce...) I ordered the chicken and waffles... which is pretty hard to mess up... BUT here we are. The chicken was dry and sad. The syrup that it comes with doesn't even taste like food, it tastes like glue. We also ordered two coffees that taste like sewer water. Basically what I'm trying to tell you is: save yourself the time, money and heartache. read more

We were greeted with a smiling welcoming face from the start and no wait on a saturday morning, server was attentive and friendly. The food was the best part though! The cookie dough waffle and the cinnamon roll french toast was unlike anything i've had! My eggs were perfectly cooked and the bacon and sausage were amazing! Their spiked coffees are also delicious couldn't even taste the vodka. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a good brunch place in Nashville will definitely be returning read more

Stopped in after a friend recommended (well actually insisted..lol) and boy glad we did. Staff was amazing food was equally amazing. My daughter had the strawberry pound cake French toast and I the creole Benedict. The French toast was surprisingly light and plentiful. My daughter didn't speak bc she was busy eating and I don't blame her. The Benny was so good perfectly poached egg on top of a crab cake that was probably one of the best I've ever had. The hollandaise was velvety with creole seasoning and accompanied with some collard greens. It was off the charts! Can't wait to go back to Nashville! read more

I visited another broken egg cafe in while I was visiting a friend in Nashville and it did not disappoint! The food was awesome and the staff were super friendly. We got to the restaurant around 11:30PM and were seated immediately upon arriving. If you have a larger party on the weekend I would recommend coming in early because the restaurant did fill up after an hour or so. I ordered the cinnamon roll French toast and it was one of the best breakfast items I've ever had, so good!!! If you are a sweet breakfast type of person this meal is for you! It came loaded with the cinnamon roll topping along with a mix of berries. The waitress asked if it was my first time visiting and when I told her yes she brought my friend and I a half order of beignets. The service was awesome and the food was even better! read more

Came here in the midst of the virus heightened awareness environment. All things considered we only waited about ten minutes to get seated for a table of 2 on a Wednesday morning. Our waiter was friendly, efficient, and our food came out quickly as well. While we waited for the grub, the coffee was delicious, and they were quick to top us off as needed. The highlights of the meal: peach cobbler pancakes-- I've never had peaches in my pancakes but these were delicious, I don't think the peaches were fresh, but the dish itself was fantastic. The sausage that came with the pancakes was extremely hearty, and I've never had sausage like it--It was really enjoyable. The prices were average, to slightly higher than average, but again, the experience justified the cost. Would definitely return! read more

Excellent service and great food. Menu offers a nice variety including cocktails. I would definitely go back.

I've yet to eat at the Brentwood location because of the wait for a table AFTER "getting in line" online. This has happened twice. I booked us at 10:45 AM on 3/2 on the pretense of a 15-25 minute wait. I arrive 15 minutes later to be told I'm "down the list." The male hostess wouldn't look at us and the female hostess got aggressive and hostile when I asked how long the wait would be. We left. At 11:45 I got a text saying my table was ready. If they can't run a hostess stand, I am not eating their food. read more

Wow, the service and food is wonderful. Both times this week the servers, Becca and Patrick had opinions on different selections and steered us right. Becca said we had to get city grits with my shrip and grits. Excellent choice. I told Patrick I had Shrimp & city grits the other day and he said It sounds strange but that trout dish is really good. It was delicious. Also liked the fact he said not to get city grits w it since it would overpower the fish. Again, excellent food and typical southern hospitality service. It's why I went back to it while on vacation. read more

Becca... she is the reason to stop in, the food is a reason to stay!! What can we say other than... we were told the wait time was 2 hours and then BAM! "I have 2 seats open at the bar"!! Becca made our entire trip to Nashville worth it! She made the best food recommendations, the best cocktail recommendations and even made suggestions for nightlife. What a great experience! read more

We stopped in here on the morning of our 5th day in Nashville and needed something light. I ordered a turkey panini which came with fresh mozzarella cheese, garlic aioli and avocado. It was delicious but not really a panini. The bread it was on was delicious yet kind of like a pita and it didn't hold the sandwich in tact very well, it was almost too thin. My girlfriend's stomach was not doing too well so she just had eggs and toast. Total meal with drinks was $20, no extra charge for avocado. Great price, friendly waitress and a nice laid back vibe. It looks like it gets pretty busy so there can be a wait. Food also took about 25 minutes to come out, luckily we were in no rush. read more

Amazing service! The food is great, the cinnamon roll French toast was underwhelming but still good. The sausage was amazing for some reason. And the Brie and lobster omelet was on point. In from NYC, found this place on Yelp. Joined the waitlist, hopped in the rental car and took a shot that we'd get downtown in time. Hostesses were so well organized. Our awesome waiter Nick recommended the lobster and brie omelet. INCREDIBLE. My daughter tried the fried chicken and eggs biscuit. Nick recommended cheese, another good call. My husband had since sort of crawfish & andouile sausage scramble. Everything was delicious. Next time, I'm going boozy like everyone else around us. read more

Good. Fast. Just what I needed before heading to the airport. French toast. Large and puffy, 6 slices done just right. Dollops of butter and a side of maple syrup. Coffee here was not very good. The pot was weak flavor. They could use a higher quality coffee bean that is a must. Service is alright. Tired college students not too eager about the work. Friendly head staff that checks in on tables as well. Breakfast when you need it. Nothing too much to write home about. read more

Our 1st stop in Nashville. I let the knowledgable waiter pick my drink abd breakfast and it was a great decision. I had a blueberry lemon mimosa and connamon swirl french toast. Both were delish. Wow! What a wonderful surprise! We stopped here since the name seemed "interesting" when we looked up "breakfast places!" We were NOT let down! Highly recommend and would return when in town! read more

First, the server was great. I tipped 60% because I needed her to know she did a great job. The food was yuck!!! I am big on my 5 star ratings. I am typically a 5. Have some 1s but normally good service out does bad food. Here not so much. Biscuits were dry dry dry. Chicken was mildly good and the potatoes well they were gross and spoon worthy is not a compliment to your potatoes! I battled between 2-3 and ultimately went 2. Friendly server was all they had going for themselves. read more
