My friends and I had a very disappointing experience at Another Broken Egg Cafe on Atlantic Blvd in Jacksonville. When we first arrived, we were seated at an outside table that had ants all over it, which was especially concerning because my friend is allergic to ants. We asked if we could be moved inside, but instead of trying to accommodate us or prioritize us for an inside table since we had booked in advance, we were told we would have to wait another 25-30 minutes. Rather than waiting all over again, we stayed outside. We even had to ask for hot water to try to kill the ants ourselves, and no one offered to help resolve the issue. Things became even worse when my friend tried to scoot her chair back to go to the bathroom. The bottom of the chair leg/heel broke because it was rusted, causing her to nearly fall backward and hit the table behind her. We asked to speak with the manager, Ashley. When my friend attempted to complete an incident report, she was asked for her Social Security information and driver's license. Because she did not have the requested Social Security information available, she was unable to complete the report. I found that extremely concerning and confusing, especially considering she was simply trying to document an incident involving a chair at the restaurant breaking underneath her. Ashley later came back outside for my friend's information, and I was concerned when I learned she had been documented as not filing a report, even though my friend had attempted to do so. After I asked Ashley for her name and mentioned leaving a Yelp review, the situation seemed to receive more attention. Ashley eventually offered to compensate my friend's meal and provided us with gift cards, which we appreciated. However, this is not about receiving a free meal or gift cards. It's about how the situation was handled from the beginning. A customer should not have to repeatedly advocate for themselves after being seated around a potential allergen and then nearly being injured because of a rusted chair. The biggest issue was the lack of concern and urgency until after we continued pushing the matter. I hope management takes this seriously, inspects the outdoor furniture for safety, addresses the ant problem, and reviews how incidents involving customers are handled in the future. But want to thank Kristen our server for being amazing !

I have been to this location twice now and I have sat at the bar where Jared has been quick to either take my order or at least acknowledge me and others promptly. This guy is a do everything guy and great at it. I had these delicious Blueberry lime curd pancakes. Their pancakes are just the best. The atmosphere is a nice vibe with 80's soft rock playing in the background . I have also had their omelets at the beach location. Thank you Jared for being such a hard worker.

Some friends that were staying with us with wanted to meet up with another friend that lives in Jax so we chose Another Broken Egg to meet up at, on Sunday at 10am. Geez. We didn't get enough sleep the night before so we were dragging ourselves to get over there in time. Luckily the one friend got there first and reserved a table for us near the bar for 6. They were so busy this morning and we had several servers over the course of a few hours as we were told that they weren't busy enough and sent some home. Been there, done that. As soon as they get sent home it gets busy...EVERY.TIME. I got coffee which was always good and for my entree I got the Monterey Power Bowl (Egg white omelets with chicken, onions, green chilies and tomatoes. Topped with guajillo sauce, Jack cheese and avocado. Side of sour cream. Served with an English muffin and fresh seasonal fruit). It was good but I struggled to finish it, probably because I was still tired and my meds. It's probably better to go closer to closing time when there isn't as many people.

While visiting my friend a few weeks ago, we treated ourselves to a nice little breakfast one morning at Another Broken Egg and it was wonderful! Our server was super friendly and the food was incredible. I was so happy with the lemon blueberry & goat cheese pancake. Seriously, it is incredible to know how well those flavors go together. Sweet and savory at the same time. The scrambled egg was fluffy and with the added cheese, it was a perfect way to start the day. My friend's meal was also incredible, it was a croissant Benedict and had so many wonderful flavors to enjoy and the side of potatoes was crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. Everything was just delicious and I can see why this is such a popular spot in the neighborhood!

The service was impeccable, we loved our server Dirk! He was very attentive and welcoming. The food was amazing and very fresh. Nice lighting and clean place to get some great breakfast. Definitely will be back! Wish they had more iced coffees but there is much room for improvement on that. :)

We had a great breakfast at Another Broken Egg Cafe on Atlantic Blvd while waiting on our car service. I ordered the chorizo and bacon omelette with a side of bourbon street pancakes. The omelette was meaty and cheesy from the first bite to the last and the cream cheese inside really took it to another level. My wife had the southwest scrambler. It was good but not quite as memorable. She ended up using the tortillas to make breakfast tacos and said next time she would absolutely order my omelette instead. What really made the visit stand out was our server Bailey. She was friendly knowledgeable and genuinely attentive. Every recommendation she made was spot on and our coffee cups were never empty. She had the perfect sense of timing and presence always there when we needed something without interrupting our conversation or the relaxed vibe. I was especially impressed watching her handle a more challenging guest with real patience and care. The manager was also making rounds welcoming guests and checking in which added to the overall positive experience. We really enjoyed our visit and will definitely ask to sit in Bailey's section next time.

Had a super Mother's Day meal. Even though the wait was painfully long as I suspect this is on of their busiest days on the year, they handled it well with lots of smiles. The Green Goddess egg special was very good as well as pancakes and waffles. Our wait staffer, Christin, was super sweet besides having to hustle between tables.

The food was alright. The presentation was mediocre and there was no lemon flavor and hardly any blueberries. The hostess had a bad day..and was cussing so loud in the front. She must have dropped the F-word 6times infront of us and my kid. I probably won't go back... there are other places that have better food and pleasant atmosphere.

Came in for a quick breakfast. Staff seated us quickly and were very friendly. I ordered coffee and the eggs Benedict with grits. Everything was very good, especially the grits. Good place for breakfast with friends.

Another location for another broken egg Cafe. This place is pretty good with quite a selection on the menu for lunch and breakfast. Had the biscuits and gravy breakfast with eggs and sausage. The breakfast was good and filling. Candyce had bacon and cheese omelet. Good service all around. Nice new location close by.

Amazing! Never disappoints! I got a Cinnamon Roll like French Toast and some hot cocoa, our server was very nice and brought me a fork without being asked at all after I dropped it. The entire inside is very modern like cafe and fancy. Would definitely go again.

The location is by Belk and Academy Sports. The host was friendly and welcoming. She told us approximately 10-15 minutes and it was exactly that. We were seated and the waiter started taking our order immediately. The food was hot and delicious. No complaints. The restaurant has a nice friendly environment. It has some nice decorations and paintings of the city. I will definitely be returning.

Breakfast was tasty but huge! I'm 60 in March (2025) & I can't eat this much! Seniors size portions please & thanks for a great job
Glen C.

Very clean & lovely atmosphere, delicious food, good service, large portions of food but b-fast needs a seniors citizen's portion size food plates. I HATE to waste food but I don't take leftovers to the place of business where I'll be in town working Worth the visit, I'll be back! Addendum if you collect coffee cups, they have a very nice cup for sale, albeit a tad pricey ($22). See the cup in my photo!

Atmosphere nice and staff was friendly. But it's one of those whee the appearance of the food was better than the flavor.

There were roughly 15 people at the party and she kept the food and drinks coming all night with a friendly smile. I started with the guava gimlet made with Wheatley Vodka, guava, pineapple, simple and lime. It was sweet and refreshing. We were served a few appetizers including creamy artichoke dip served with homemade chips which were tasty. My friend and I ordered the charcuterie board which hit the spot! You could top the meat cheeses and sauces on to either homemade crackers or French bread. I highly recommend the board if you are looking for something light.

Luckily, we were waiting for someone in our party, so the wait wasn't too bad. Now the FOOD? Absolutely AMAZING! Everything from the chicken and waffles to the sandwiches, breakfast plates, and sweet treats was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The drinks were refreshing, service was excellent, and even the bathrooms were spotless! The restaurant itself has a really cool, rustic atmosphere. My only two minor complaints were the seating and noise. If your party is larger than 5-6 people, you may end up sharing a high-top table with another group, separated by a small divider. We also got seated toward the back near a group that was EXTREMELY loud. Listen, I'm all for having a good time, but WHEW, they were enjoying themselves enough for everybody! Outside of those two things, I really enjoyed the experience! Great food, attentive service, and a welcoming atmosphere. Those minor seating issues are the only reason I'm giving it a 4.5 instead of a perfect 5. We'll absolutely be back because brunch was fantastic, but now I need to see what that DINNER menu is talking about! Shoutout to our amazing server Stephanie as well, oh guys this place takes tap to pay !!

The pancakes were fluffy and delicious--not grainy, as they sometimes can be at other places--and the eggs were cooked perfectly. I'd absolutely come back and would definitely recommend the restaurant. The only thing that kept me from giving it five stars was that, with a name like Orange Blossoms, I was hoping to see a little more orange or citrus-inspired creativity on the menu. For example, the pancakes had the usual fruit topping options like blueberries, strawberries, and bananas, but I was secretly hoping for something like candied oranges, an orange compote, or even marmalade. A citrus-infused glaze on the beignets would be fantastic too. Even the coffee menu could have some fun with the theme--an orange-flavored latte or a chocolate-orange mocha would be outstanding and would give the restaurant something a little different from the usual breakfast offerings. This isn't really a complaint--more of a suggestion, because the food itself was excellent. I'll definitely be back!

The flavors were nice and everything was prepared well. However, and this may be just my opinion but, if you're going to call your food truck "The Fried Egg" perhaps eggs should be a part of the make up of most of you menu items. Given the current menu options I think a better name for this truck would be "The Fried Egg is a $1 add-on option." I mentioned to the young lady taking my order that it surprised me that, given the name of the truck, I would have to pay an up charge for an egg. She relayed my sentiments to the cook, who may have been the manager or owner. Nevertheless, I ordered the Classic Smash Burger and did ask for the fried egg add-on. The food was prepared really quickly and the burger looked perfect. However, the young lady informed me that unfortunately they only had 4 eggs left and that they all fell and broke on the floor before my burger was ready. So she handed me a $1 bill as a refund. Obviously disappointed (and skeptical of the story) I accepted the refund and went on my way. The short of it is that while I was eggstremly disappointed by the lack of eggs, the burger was quite good and the fries were wonderful. I would have given this experience 4 stars, I can overlook the name thing, but not being able to have any eggs from The Fried Egg food truck left me somewhat disappointed.
