Angie was such a kind and helpful waitress!! The food was delightful. I got the smoked salmon eggs Benedict and had zero complaints

My husband loved his Omelette and Blueberry Mule but that's about where the compliments end. I didn't like being seated at a dirty table. I didn't like finding mold in my fruit and I didn't like having dirty utensils. Lastly my dish wasn't great. It tasted like a basic salt and pepper gravy with shrimp mixed in. I would never order it again honestly. To be fair I wasn't expecting a 5 star experience but I didn't really get a 4 star either.

Great food, wholesome atmosphere, lively music, and great service. I had a simple breakfast this morning at Another Broken Egg, consisting of egg sunny side up, City Girl Grits or is it City Grits (scratching head...LoL). These grits consist of smoked gouda cheese, back bits, green onion and tomatoe. A fabulous combo. I added some toast and accompanied it with blackberry jam. Coffee was Hot and flowing! I Recommend!! Ohhh, my Server Wendy was so very nice and I can tell she was a Pro Server!

Came here for brunch on a Saturday. They have a get in line system that worked really well. Don't feel like we waited too long and it was close to the noon hour as well. The inside of the restaurant is super cute. It looks like you're inside someone's home and it just has a great vibe Our waiter was super patient as we were two girls just catching up and you know how that goes. As far as the food, everything we had was delicious. my meal as pictured was hearty and fulfilling. I only made it through half. The portions are very large and I have to say the coffee is awesome. The waiter even told us that they serve a special coffee, which is Colombian coffee. He ensure that for coffee lovers you knew they had great coffee . I definitely recommend this place and I will be back.

Great service and great food. Also quite relaxing homey vibe. Ordered the crab cake Benedict with egg whites scrambled and it was perfect. Well cooked and flavorful. If you haven't been here yet, I highly recommend. Had a lot of options to choose from for breakfast or lunch. You'll enjoy it

Came in for breakfast and were instantly greeted and seated. I ordered the new lobster Benedict, and it was delicious, it came out fast and our server was very attentive. First time trying this place and I would definitely be back.

This is another location to the "egg" chain that I found when we were in Houston recently. My husband wasn't impressed with two of the other ones that we went to in other states, but I insisted! The wait was 45 minutes, and after an hour and seeing that the crowd had gone, we went back and inquired. Turned out that our table was ready but we never got the page. Well guess what. The page came after we were seated and about to order! Someone needs to look into that, seriously. The waitress knew we were perturbed and she brought our drinks and water quickly. I had the cold brew with Vodka, which was really good. Hubby had their hot coffee, not spiked, and he said it was good., I had to try the lobster and Brie omelet and I loved it! Hubby had traditional ham and eggs with grits, and he admitted that everything was good. He even said that the grits were far better than he had the day before at the Rooster. (Those were watered down and bland, while he said these had a better consistency.) Besides having to wait an hour, the meal was good as was service. I like their multigrain toast and the fact that they always Cholula no matter what location we're at. I just like these places!

Crab Cake Benedict & The Supreme Omelette
    Mytae T.

We got the crab cake benedict and the supreme omelette. The crab cakes were pretty good and well seasoned. The potatoes as pictured were a little dry and cold but were replaced promptly. They have tons of options, would definitely go back for brunch. It was very busy, cafeteria like vibe but comfy booths.

Flavio our server was very courteous, attentive & witty who speaks 4 languages. Lemom blue berry mimosa was freshly made & seasonal pumpkin waffle was fluffy & sweet. Great place for breakfast/brunch with plenty of options & generous portions

We're visiting from New York and decided to try some breakfast in the area. The menu enticed us to go and it was absolutely worth it! We had a very attentive and kind server, who kept our coffees refilled. The Hash Brown Benedict was delicious, as well as Broken Egg Chicken Sandwich. As a side, we chose the grits and added cheese, it was a bit bland so we added some salt and pepper. The Blackberry Stuffer French Toast was good but a bit too sweet for our palette. Overall, we'd come back and enjoyed the overall ambiance for a Sunday brunch.

    Peaches & Bourbon Cream Pancakes

I was wanting some lemon blueberry pancakes so we made the drive to another broken egg. Once there i saw the summer menu and decided to go with the peaches and cream bourbon pancakes. I shouldve stuck with my initial decision. The pancakes were heavy on the bourbon. It was too over powering for me. I also got sausage with it. I couldnt finish my food so i took it to go. The service was mediocre. I ordered a cold brew coffee and didnt receive a straw. When i went to eat my food later, i was eating my sausage and bit down on something that almost broke my tooth. I thought maybe its a piece of a bone.. i got it out of my mouth and it was much harder than a bone. It felt and looked like a broken tooth. I dont know what it was but I definitely know it shouldn't be in my food. I cant say i would confidently recommend this location. Next time ide drive farther to the katy location where ive always had good experiences

Thankfully, Mark was there and initially was told a 35 minute wait but seemed intent by quicker. Ambiance: 4/5 It was breakfast time so of course it was a busy time. For my visit, it was crowded but not to where you couldn't hear your table. Dress is casual, good for friends, solo, or pit stop. Service: 5/5 Our waitress was very knowledgeable and friendly. Since it was our first visit there, she gave us some background that it was a Pappa's owned restaurant and food is made from scratch. Food: 3/5 They offer mimosas and I was tempted to order, but was driving and it was 9AM so forewent that option. There are food options for every tastebud. Mark ordered the fried cheese sticks, they were one of the items that I found worthwhile to return for. I opted for the Waffle feast. It included a waffle, that I added pecans on top to, two strips of bacon, eggs your way and hash browns. To say that I needed to add salt and pepper to the eggs and hash browns because they tasted bland and flavorless was unfortunate. It also was served at room temperature, because it was made from scratch, would think it be warmer to hot. The waffle was savory and had good mix and topped with the pecans made it even better. If you're on this side of town and want a change up from the "other breakfast diners" DOT would be where I stop. Fast, friendly service. Depending the food you get, it gets the job done for some sustenance to hold you over when you're not sure when your next meal is because you'll be in Galveston for 7 hours riding a float in the Mardi Gras parade.

What I eventually found both surprised and delighted me, and Nate's gets a thumbs up overall. Pictures are deceiving as I thought the place would be larger but it's a tight fit for bigger groups. There are only a handful of tables but plenty of character. It's also a bit grimey, unsightly and even a tinge dodgey, which may be a deal breaker for others but is an immediate appeal to me. Two things immediately standout when it comes to the food: the portions and the prices are outstanding. The offerings are as no frills as the rest of the establishment. The other surprise was how much influence there was from Mexican cuisine. Hash browns were the goal, but chorizo and chilaquiles were the bonus. Another surprise? The hash browns weren't as crispy as I would have wanted. It's entirely plausible that I came on an off day, which happens. However everything else was on point as my chorizo skillet was absolutely dynamite, pancakes were fluffy and indulgent, breakfast tacos were outstanding, and my eggs were perfectly softly scrambled. Even the bacon and sausage patties were delicious, which is a tall order considering it's not likely made in house. Lastly, as someone who drinks cold water like it's a hobby (#1), I'm especially grateful for the massive 32 oz cup of water, which is perfect for someone who drinks like a camel. The staff is not the quickest but they are friendly. Spanish may go further with most and they're not the quickest when it comes to greeting folks or cleaning tables. The food is the star and consider paying in cash. ____________ (#1) I'm thirsty.

I meant to save the second one for breakfast, but that was not to be. It did not survive long enough to make it out the door. My actual meal was a bacon swiss and mushroom burger, which was excellent. Between the biscuits and the burger, I am forced to acknowledge that it was entirely too much food. Sadly, that did not prevent me from eating all of it anyway. Delicious! The restaurant, which is a diner with very basic decor, is on an approach road to IAH, and is open 24/7. When I arrived in the evening, the place was empty. By the time I left, there were a whole bunch of customers. I noticed in other reviews that people were saying they did not receive checks for their meal and felt they were over-charged at the register. Mr. Picky ordered the Fettuccine Alfredo with shrimp while I opted for Veal Parmigiana, and we each stole a bite from the other's plate. Seriously, we hadn't expected much when walking in and looking around, but were pleasantly surprised at the kitchen's efforts. We finished lunch with an order of homemade bread pudding and tiramisu, the latter of which in 2012 won a chamber of commerce epicurean competition 1st place ribbon. I wasn't there to judge that competition and have had better, but sincerely appreciated the moistness of the bread pudding. While the majority of diners were older and a more mature crowd, there's a lot to be said for value, and we thought the menu price was better than reasonable and I think a lot of people will discover this as a value destination, something we all appreciate.
