Was excited to try this and finally got a chance to have my lunch here. Big disappointment! Ordered carry out mango chicken salad. - qty was as if it's a side salad - salad looked unappetizing as if things have just thrown in haphazardly - mango was so smushed as if it was mango purée and not really pieces read more

Food was absolutely insane, like insanely good. Cinnamon roll French toast literally made me feel like another dimension. My girlfriend got grits which were amazing. Cant go wrong with anything on the menu it was all so so good. The service was kinda slow but that was because we had a waiter on his first day, service at other tables seemed good. Overall amazing food and super cool place. read more

Fresh, tasty food but I was very disappointed that they use single serve containers for cream, butter, and jam. Please switch to reusable containers -- nicer for your customers and less expensive for you, plus Mother Earth needs all the help she can get. read more

Love it! Everything was great from the food, to the mimosas, and the best waitress in the world ever,Michelle! We will definitely be back! We had the lobster and grits (I added shrimp! He had chicken and waffles! Ask for Michelle! You will not be disappointed! read more

I love the restaurant in Clearwater Beach so I was really excited when they opened a location here in Columbia. There was even more anticipation as I waited until now due to the pandemic. Unfortunately, it didn't live up to my expectations. There were lots of staff all around but I had to flag someone down after a 10 minute wait. I wasn't the only table to do so even though it was late Friday morning and while busy, they weren't jammed. The person who was our server was polite but did not offer refills on coffee or stop by to ask how things were during the meal. It's also so loud inside--not anyone's fault, just designed with nothing to absorb noise so it's impossible to have a conversation without competing with literally everyone in the building. Combined, it wasn't a particularly welcoming environment. The slow service and the noise could have been overlooked if the food was outstanding but it was not. Nothing was served hot but had clearly sat whilst waiting to be brought out, so the sauce had congealed and the crab in the omelette was nonexistent. The breakfast potato were dry and overcooked. The brie on the french toast had solidified and that plate was covered in raisins (raisins were part of the dish was this was...very raisin forward. The person I was with push them off to one side and it was an impressive raisin pile). The ham that came as a side with that meal with thin and dried out. What was excellent was the salted caramel cold brew. Not good enough to make up for a bad experience. For the expense ($51 for 2 people, which is shockingly high for what I ordered--french toast, the omelette, a regular coffee, and the cold brew), I expect hot food, a welcoming environment, and better service. I'm quite sad about it but we won't be back...at least not to this location. read more

This place is awesome. Service was great. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Food was amazing.

I called at 8:06 am to check the wait for a party of 8 and was immenditally told it was no wait. I addedd my name to their online waitlist. I checked into the restaurant at 10:00 am and the I went to check the status at 10:50 am and was informed it would be another 20 to 30 minutes wait. After getting seated at 11:35, the sever took my party orders quickly. I notice the one host was busing all the tables. read more

Always a great place to go on Sunday mornings. Definitely should make sure you put your name on the waitlist or you'll be waiting awhile to get in. I love the crab cake Benedict. It's amazing each time. We love all their mimosas. & oddly I love their English muffins. Always has a nice toast to it and never too hard. Wonderful brunch spot read more

Pretty small place and usually a wait. The food is good and reasonable. Four stars because to be honest the "other egg place" is better. But if you are nearby and there is not a wait, it's worth it. read more

Came here with my husband and son. After a good time during their grand opening, today was definitely not the same experience. The hostess got an attitude when I asked her to clean our table because it was visibly not clean. After 10 minutes of waiting we still hadn't placed drink orders. We had to ask someone "who is supposed to be taking our order". It wasn't a busy morning. We decided to just leave and take our business elsewhere. read more

I love Another Broken Egg! From the service to the food, everything is great. The only thing I would suggest to really complete the ambiance is a little soft music. Other than that, this is my new favorite breakfast spot! read more

Really good food and cocktails, a little bit pricey but definitely worth it. My only complaint is the wait times, you can expect to wait 30+ minutes to get seated even if you join the waitlist and check-in on time, still worth the wait but it can get kind of annoying. read more

Don't trust the wait time, we wasted and hour and a half and gave up after being told 45 minutes. Their hostess table is a cluster, won't be back. read more

so frustrated, tried to get a table. I went to the online site and they showed a wait of 70 minutes, so added my info. at the hostess, she said another 30 minutes where the list of names was so long ahead of me. Another hour of wait inside, still nothing. So frustrated, finally gave up and left. The place is just not doing a good job of managing their wait list. It either needs to figure something to do about this, because I am never going back. read more

It was the first time for us using Yelp waitlist. There was some concern when we requested being seated at 12:30 and we're told to expect to be seated at 12:44. So we relaxed at home, then got a text at 10:00 saying we were #5 on the list. There was no way we could get there that early. By the time we got there at 12:15 we were told our spot was gone! Thankfully, they accommodated is with the next table that came up for 5. Service was fantastic and food delicious! Highly recommend this place. read more

Very busy, but very friendly and inviting service. Make sure you book your reservation online before you show or you will be standing around waiting. The menu is robust with so many selections of what looked to be delicious breakfast type meals. My breakfast was absolutely delicious and eye catching as was the breakfast of my friend I attended breakfast with. Prices aren't to hurtful on your pockets either. read more

The wait for the food was ridiculous. We were seated at 12:20 PM and didn't receive anything (food nor drinks) until around 1:45 PM. My food looked appealing but was very, very cold. I ordered City Grits at the beginning of the visit and did not actually get them until 5 minutes before I left (1.5 hours later). We waited an hour to actually be seated, despite being on the waitlist. Service was standard, had a party of 10 but was only provided 9 seats. One member of the party stood for at least 10 minutes before being seated. Also, one of my party members asked for her food to go and she never received it (Was told throughout the stay that the food was being prepared but towards the end of our visit, was told that the meal was cancelled unbeknownst to the customer) I think if I come with a smaller party, I will have a better a better experience. read more

2 1/2 hours from parking to leaving. Define wearing. Loose paper masks hanging off most of the servers' faces. Easy fix. Enforce the proper wearing of masks. Eye rolling at the front podium when I asked if we were getting close to the top of the list. Zero attention from our server until tip time! Mediocre food and terrible chocolate milk and hot cocoa. read more

The food was excellent, the kitchen was a little slow but a wonderful and pleasant waitress. The ambiance was good too.

Our favorite breakfast stop in Columbia, everything is amazing, but the cinnamon roll French toast is legendary. Michelle always takes great care of us, she is the best server in SC! read more

Well well, we have a winner. The food is made with thought care and love. I enjoyed myself. I went alone and had excellent service. Everyone was taking pride in what they were doing which is extremely rare . The food is super, I'm going back to back to try something else. The ambiance is well put together. Very clean and crisp. I would probably go daily if one was closer to my home. read more

Great brunch for a busy Sunday. I got the lobster and Brie omelet- great seasoning, perfectly cooked omelette and the butter hollandaise sauce was perfect. Hubby got the Marci Gras omelette- great flavor and he loved the potatoes. Kiddo got the peach cobbler pancakes and ate every bite- rare for him. Service was top notch! Was told 25-30 minutes and waited right at 27. Kristina was a great server and was extremely attentive, considering how busy they were. read more

We got to the restaurant at 11:30, told the hostess we had 3 in our party, and was told it would be a 30-45min wait... here we are 2 hours later and still haven't been seated and all the hostess will say is I'm sorry it'll just be another 15 min. Now we're on hold with the restaurant waiting to speak to a manager, and it's been 15 min. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME. read more

I am familiar with the Nashville counterpart cafe, so I definitely had high expectations. This was my first order from there (I placed a pick-up order via phone). Overall the customer service was great. The lady on the phone was very helpful and polite. I got the same experience when I visited the restaurant to pick up my order. The food was pretty good overall. I ordered the broken egg biscuit sandwich with potatoes, beignets, and French toast. However, the biscuit sandwich was very crumbly, which wouldn't have been a bad thing if it had the sausage gravy on it. I never got any, but the menu says it comes with it. The potatoes and beignets were great though! French toast was very tasty, but they didn't have any powdered sugar on them. Luckily I had some at home. Also, both boxes were covered in some type of red sauce that got all over my bag. While I'm sure many of the employees are still learning since the cafe has only been open a few weeks, the food and packaging could always use a quick verification before serving. Overall, food was still good for what it was. I'm willing to still give dining service a try in the future just based off the customer service, and perhaps the issues above wouldn't have happened. read more

So...they're super busy and given that fact...I didn't take into account that it takes so long to get your food for this review. Simply know that you're going to be there for a while. I've been there twice. The first time, the food was really good. Best huevos rancheros with chorizo, I've ever had. I was definitely excited to go back. The second time...the food was served cold. Not even warm...it must have been sitting for quite a while. Our little waitress was polite, attentive and sweet...and seemed to be on top of it so I don't think it was her fault. Somewhere there was a lack of communication. One of the biscuits, in the biscuits and gravy, was hard....you couldn't cut it with the butter knife. The potatoes were so salty, we could not eat them. So it's a fifty fifty thing. Hard to say if it's normally one way or the other. read more

Great menu choices with healthy alternatives. The food was fresh, seasoned well and plated appealingly to sight. We would defiantly recommend them. read more

Was so excited to try this place and the experience was awful. Was told we had a 45min wait and it took an hour and a half. Totally understand that people aren't getting up and it's not their fault. But to make it even worse, we sat and 40 min later we didn't get checked on by our server, our food came out and our drinks came out after our food. Five star food, 1 star service Also, while we were enjoying brunch, a boy from the kitchen was being walked out screaming "fuck this". read more

Awesome food and service. May think about piping In soft music. Throughly enjoyed the food.

I keep wanting to like this place, but it is always dirty and disgusting. The cleaning crew needs to be replaced. Trash under the table. Host tried to sit me to a table with crumbs. The window is disgusting with fingerprints and crud! Yuck! My coffee creamer had all kinds of other foods and dried chocolate on the bottom. Dirty silverware. All the while the owner/manager was walking around with a child in her arms. We need to stop allowing people to provide us with subpar service on this side of town. read more

Signed on the waitlist online & was given an estimated wait time of 10-20 minutes. We arrived after 20 minutes. Other people that were walking in were given 45 minute estimated wait. As I got to the hostess stand I was told it would still be a 40 minute wait. What's the point of signing in online if it's not going to matter anyways? read more
