This is a great coffee shop to either go and work or visit with friends. I love what the restaurant stands for and how it's supporting people with developmental or intellectual disabilities. The staff are nice and efficient and greeted me as I walked in. I just really enjoyed myself. I ordered a a pumpkin spiced iced latte with almond milk and a bacon Gouda sandwich. The coffee was amazing. It was perfect. The Bacon Gouda sandwich was OK. There was nothing spectacular about it. I sat and ate at the bar and it was pretty quiet. This coffee shop is a pretty good size and beautifully decorated. I would definitely visit it again. read more

I had the best experience at this coffee shop! We went for breakfast and coffee with family while visiting SC. The coffee was so good and the jalapeño biscuit was honestly one of the best I've had! I went back the next day before leaving town! Lol. I love that they employ people with developmental disabilities. Their employment practices show that they celebrate diversity and inclusiveness towards their customers too. The staff were so friendly. From the moment we stepped in the door, we were welcomed by staff waiting to take our orders. They were friendly, knowledgeable of the menu, and accommodated our changes (sub for soy or oatmilk? No problem.) The place was very clean, organized, and a perfect place to sit, enjoy breakfast and a good cup of Chai. We love the concept and the positive exposure, showing the abilities of people with challenges, these young people were ON IT!! Bitty&Beau's coffee aims it to hired more people with disability and I applause them for it! This coffee shop has a corner which sells merchandise such as hats, shirts, coffee tumblers, etc. They also have a wall with a big world map where you can put a pin on a city and or country where you came from. At this coffee shop, we ordered smoothie (mango and mixed berry), local roasted coffee late per recommendation of the girl that was helped us on the counter that day, and a cookies and cream cake pop. Everything so refresh full and the cake pop hit my son's craving palate. We enjoyed the friendliness and cleanliness of this place. The customer service from my baristas was amazing! They were so sweet and helpful and recommended things for me to try :) I ordered a matcha which was too sweet and watery for my vibe, but now I know to ask for half sweet next time (protip). If you have never been to Bitty & Beau's you really have to take the time to visit one someday! This business seeks to take inclusion and especially inclusion of the disabled in those who would normally find it very difficult to find a job employment. What I mean by this is that they specifically higher, though the neurodivergent such as those with autism, but also those with down syndrome and other disabilities no one nice thing that I think they do and it's really unique is instead of taking your name they give you a plane card and so when they announce your order, they announce it by your plane card so you might sign in and today you are the queen of hearts or maybe the ace of spades but it's a way for the employees to be able to call out an order without stumbling over the pronunciation of someone's name and I think that's very cute and a very intelligent way to deal with that task. Plus everything I tried was absolutely delicious. Very very good coffee., on par with you know the big S, the smoothie was amazing and their spicy sausage breakfast biscuit was pretty awesome as well. They don't mind if you hang out for a while. I sat there drinking my coffee and eating my biscuit and working on my homework for a couple of hours. It's got a very relaxed atmosphere a very cool vibe. They also have a map of the United States on the wall and you can put a pin to let everybody know where you're from And they have great merchandise. I definitely wanna get one of those little teddy bears for sure but it's definitely a vibe and you need to check it out. I really really enjoy giving my business to accompany that is embracing inclusion equity and diversity in such a unique and fun way. read more

I'm not from here so I'll caveat with that, but the vibes here are absolutely legendary. It's like old school Barnes and nobles meets Starbucks but in a good way. Vibes are only matched by the legendary and amazing crew. I walked up not knowing what I was getting myself into. I love trying coffee shops so of course when they opened they were on my list. Its location is easy to get to but of course street parking, especially in the morning was a bit hectic. When you walk in you immediately notice the openness but still laid back atmosphere and decor was really cute! They have a lot of paraphernalia; from shirts to cups to mugs to sweaters and t shirts. It was really nice! The staff were so nice and the menu though not extensive was easy to read. I ordered the cinnamon raisin bagel with cream cheese and a hot coffee with oat milk and sugar free vanilla. I also got my friend the strawberry banana smoothie in the souvenir cup which was huge lol. My coffee was good and I got to choose my roast which was a first honestly. They give you a playing card as your order card. I really liked the vibes and the coffee and bagel was good! I'll definitely be back again to try the smoothie. read more

Our favorites included the Toasted Marshmallow Iced Latte, Blueberry Pomegranate smoothie, and Cookies and Crème Frappe! As for treats, we enjoyed the Rainbow Bagel, Red Velvet Cake Pop, and Fruity Loops Crispy Treat! Our very first time in Columbia, SC this was the coffee shop we chose to try, and I am pleased to say we were very happy with our choice. This location is located in the beautiful area, The Vista's. This area is very easily accessible and easy to navigate. When you enter the door of Bitty and Beau's one of the first things you might notice is a large world map push pin board on the back wall, were customers can mark their hometowns, which is now one of our favorite parts about this location. As far as food we have not had the chance to try anything as of yet as the options are limited. Coffee on the other hand is a completely different story, the coffee here is truly delicious no matter your choice. For us we usually order something different each time in an attempt to try the entire menu. Anyone in the area should definitely put this spot on their list for places to stop and if your a student looking for a place to study this should definitely be a top contender for you. read more

Stopped by on a Sunday afternoon to grab some coffee for the road. Ordered, and paid for, 3 coffees - 2 brown sugar lattes with oat milk and one plain coffee. Didn't receive a receipt. Between the two employees who were working, there must have been some sort of confusion, because the lattes were made and delivered to us, but the third coffee was not poured. We mentioned, "there was supposed to be another coffee," and the female angrily said, "there is another one" and pointed to the second coffee. Neither one of them seemed to understand that although there were only two of us in the store, we were getting a third coffee for the person waiting in the car for us! She was acting very angry, and he was pacing back and forth acting very agitated. We finally decided to just cut our losses and leave without the third coffee. Such a disappointment, and more than a little bit upsetting that we were unable to get our point understood by them. Since we weren't offered a receipt, we couldn't prove to them we had paid for three. The lattes weren't that good, either. They tasted like something you'd get at a free breakfast in a motel, and my sister's really upset her stomach. She thinks that the employee gave her regular milk instead of oat milk. We would not go back to this store. It seemed like there should have been a supervisor there, perhaps. read more
