For mine, I requested scrambled egg, on a bagel with cheddar and roasted garlic spread. Goodness! What a delight! This thing really was divine as well as massive. It was great having a couple bites of something else and then indulging in the gooey cinnamon roll. While I'd love to try the other flavors it would be tough to skip out on this one. Green Eggs & Ham breakfast sandwich - If Dr. Seuss was talking about pesto on the eggs then I think Sam I Am would have chowed down because this sandwich was excellent. Lowcountry Shrimp & Grits - looks like a small portion but it's packed in there and just as good as some of the best shrimp and grit plates I've had in Charleston. Tomato Basil soup - very good flavor and extra hearty and thick. It could be a meal on its own. I had the Farmhouse Breakfast sandwich and it was solid. The eggs and the breakfast sausage were a tad under seasoned and the bagel lacked a little something that I just couldn't figure out. Cannot believe I haven't reviewed this place yet. For starters, the parking lot is super small. Just keep that in mind. Anyway, I never have to wait in line for too long. There is a MASSIVE menu. I normally stick to the Low Country Grits bowl and one of their gourmet rolls. The grits are always super flavorful. The cinnamon rolls on the other hand, are superb. Walked in around 1:40pm (they stop serving at 2) and there was no line. The sandwich menu is extensive, each sandwich with a bit of an interesting twist. We decided on the Gamecock and the Cuban. Both were excellent AND they come with a small cinnamon roll on the side as well as absolutely addicting store-made pita chips. We didn't realize the sandwiches came with these sides and this put the experience into the "when can we make it here again?!!" Cinnamon rolls were excellent as well and service was very friendly and fast. The Devine Cinnamon Roll Deli was super busy on a Sunday morning! They appeared to have many regulars and the staff knew several of the patrons by name. The interior had lots of mismatched art on the walls and some seating. They also had an outdoor seating area in the front, covered by a tent. I ordered the The Buffalo Turkey Sandwich and a Banana Foster Cinnamon Roll to-go, and service was impressively quick. I didn't realize that my sandwich already came with a mini Cinnamon Roll, so I ended up with two. The Buffalo Turkey Sandwich was decent, but incredibly messy to eat. I chose my eggs "over easy" and they were super runny, especially combined with the buffalo sauce. The sourdough didn't really taste like sourdough either, but it was hard to tell since it quickly became soggy. I did enjoy the generous amount of turkey though, and the sandwich was quite filling! This was my favorite place we ate in Colombia. It is a cool place and feels very local. The staff was so nice and helped with seating to keep the line moving. They gave my son a few extra cinnamon rolls, which was so sweet of them. I had the Italian beef with the housemade chips. The sandwich was huge and delicious. I was offered the chance to skip the line and get takeout, which I took and which was reasonably quick. While there were a variety of options, this was not a place that offered a ton of vegetarian-friendly or healthy breakfast food. That's not why you come. The flavor was as indulgent as one might hope, and it was quite large so I ate part of it immediately while the caramel was still hot and part of it at the national park to the south. I needed several Classics (cinnamon rolls) for brekke and was bringing them onto the base at Fort Jackson for my sons first brekke with us since he'd been there. The long dine-in line on a Saturday was SUPER well managed by the hostess. Between distributing menus and managing carryout orders, she was even so kind as to offer complimentary mini cinnamon rolls to the toddlers who waited patiently (and I think she passed out bacon bits to one lady with a dog). The service continued to be good after we stepped inside. We were sat at a spotless table, and it wasn't too long of a wait before orders hit the table. I couldn't decide between a cinnamon roll, a grits bowl, or a breakfast sandwich, so I did a combo - breakfast sammy with Carolina BBQ (the highlight!), which comes with a mini cinnamon roll, plus a side of the daily special grits. The pimento cheese grits had a good kick, and I scraped the bowl clean. Can't say enough about the sandwich, so just GET IT. As for the restaurant's namesake, I think the minis don't do'em justice. Next time, I'd like to split a regularly sized cinnamon roll to get a proper idea of what Devine can do. All in all, wonderful dining out experience.
