Signed in online at 10:50 am. The app said we had 15 min so I checked in with the hostess at 12:03. By 12:38 we still had not been seated. There was a small 2 top table outside that hadn't had anyone sitting at it for the 1.5 hours we previously waited and it didn't have the table settings items on it, so we sat down there waiting for our table. Someone came over and asked if we were waiting for a table and asked if we wanted to just be served at that spot so we took it. Food took a very long time to get and it was cold. My daughter was missing the sausage that went with her waffle for the entire meal until the end and she never did get syrup. The 2 round patties of sausage were a little larger than a silver dollar. The cookie dough waffle was good according to my 17 year old teenager. Shrimp and grits was a small portion and a lot of grease floating on the top. I asked for a side of béarnaise sauce, but instead they brought shrimp and sausage on the gravy without the actual low country reduction sauce and then brought out a random brown gravy as the separate sauce. I didn't say anything or send it back I just kept what I was given. The garlic bread is two tiny 2inch triangles of mushy bread. The waitress was friendly but stretched too thin. This is our 5th of 6th try here for bunch but sadly the last, I can't see why we would try again. Ran out of water twice without refills. 2 eggs scrambled, 2 waters, 2 small sausage patties, 1 waffle, 1 bow of shrimp and grits. $42.05 We asked for the check shortly after getting our food since we waited so long and wanted to spreed the process up. Tried Another Broken Eggs Cafe for the first time a few weeks ago. Originally we did have over an hour wait, but seating opened at the bar (not a problem- the wait is worth it for the food). To begin we devoured the Biscuit Beignets and downed the Abe Famous Infused Bloody Mary, we understood the kitchen was slow so this pre meal treat was well worth it! For our meals we decided to split the Lobster & Brie Omelette, a Pancake Trio Flight (Lemon Blueberry & Goat Cheese, Peach Cobbler, & Bananas Foster), and the Brisket Benedict. So I went here today. Reserved my spot for one. My spot was reserved for 1028am. Pulled in, and was ignored at the check in spot for a bit. Got over that. Got my table and sat. And sat. And sat. Literally my waiter did not come to my table for 10 mins. He finally comes, I know what I want. Lobster and Brie omelette with city grits, coffee and water. He repeats my order. I say yes. Simple. He brings coffee out. No water. Ok. Then I get lobster city grits. Ummm nope. The lady puts it down. Walks away. I look around for my waiter. No where to be found. Turn around keep looking.....keep looking....okay find him looking out the kitchen door and I wave him down. I say not what I ordered. I order the lobster & Brie omelette with city grits. He's like oh I thought you wanted lobster city grits. Umm nope. He brings out the right order about 5 mins later. No jelly for the English muffin and no water. I ate a bit or two but I'm like what has happened with the service here. The checkin desk has employees standing around and drinking their drinks out of their styrofoam cups looking pissed. They make eye contact with me but turn away. I make no fuss and just wait. He comes back and I say can I get a coffee to go, a to go box, to go bowl for my grits and check. I wanted to keep omelet separate from grits. Got box, to go coffee, check but no bag or small bowl. Paid check, tipped him, packed food, which was great, but the customer service from the waiter and checkin staff was awful.
