We really enjoyed coming here while in Houston for several days in fact so much we at here 3 times! Loved the deconstructed chicken salad so fresh and huge! Love love LOVE this cafe! First of all, the owners here are absolute angels. They are so personable, friendly, and give the BEST customer service that I have seen in a cafe. They go out of their way to ensure that every customer has a positive and comfortable experience. For instance, my friend and I visited the cafe once during busy hours and found ourselves with nowhere to sit. Noticing this, the owners took their time to move in a table from the patio and pulled over chairs so we had a place to sit. Secondly, the coffee, desserts, and entrees are super delicious with a reasonable price point. Anonymous cafe specializes in Greek dishes and desserts, so I would give those a try when you visit. I personally recommend trying the freddo cappuccino (sweetened) for coffee and the white chocolate strawberry pound cake for dessert. That pound cake left me speechless you guys. Had a lovely brunch here. The staff were friendly and answered all my questions about items on the menu. There aren't a lot of tables inside but we settled in with no issues. Whenever I'm craving something healthy and need a caffeine boost, I love coming here. Strangely enough, they make an AMAZING greek salad with grilled chicken. It's so satisfying, tasty, and filling, but obviously it's still a salad so you don't feel guilty. They add capers, which I like since I like sour, so just something to be aware of if you want to omit. The pita wraps are also really yummy, and I like that you can sub the fries (which are the fat and crispy kind - loveee) for a side salad. Their espresso drinks have not disappointed me, and prices are pretty reasonable. If I had to be super picky, I'm not a huge fan of the coffee mugs they use because the handle is really small and tiny (so you can't fit a whole grip on the handle, only like three fingers). Besides the cute and clean decor, service is awesome! You can tell that many of the customers are repeat, but they are patient to explain any of the items on their long list of offerings. Also, something that should never be taken for granted inside the Houston loop, but there is ample visitor parking available (two garages!!) The address is a little deceiving since the storefront is not facing Kirby. If you're making your way north on Kirby to get here, turn right on Norfolk and the cafe will be on your left. The downside is that they're not open on Sundays! But to support small businesses, I understand that taking a day off is completely necessary and deserving. The wifi connection is not the strongest if you're trying to do a bunch of cloud based work, but it'll work for the basics. I love meeting a friend/coworker for some one-on-one time, but I've also stopped by just to grab a greek salad to go. Definitely near/at the top of my favorite coffee places, especially those that are convenient and serve "real meals" (entrees). read more

Listen, upper Kirby has some great restaurants, but some are over priced and over rated, but this cafe is the bees knees. Me and my boyfriend order to go a lot and we are never disappointed!! This place was how I imagined it to be! Pleasant and calming. I came on a Thursday afternoon and it was very quaint and cute. The one thing that stood out to me was how personal the cafe felt. The owners walk around and talk to you, personally give you your food/drink and make you feel at home. For food, I got the chocolate croissant and it was so good! It was warm and buttery and melty, and it came with this strawberry spread that was delicious paired together. They have plenty of outlets and very comfortable seating. The other dishes were not quite as filling, but then again, less expensive. The breakfast croissant sandwich was also very good. I stumbled upon Anonymous at their original location in Sugar Land a few years ago and everything changed. They were super welcoming and had probably the best dessert I've ever eaten - Eckmeck. Couple that with their amazing selection of coffee drinks (try the Freddo Cappuccino (Iced Capp)), and it's basically the perfect pick me up for any time during the day. So with that in mind, imagine my turmoil when they decided to relocate and go bigger. That meant I'd have to wait for them to reopen. It was a long wait, but after over a year, the wait is over and they are bigger and better than ever. I stopped here during their soft opening Monday morning literally before getting on a flight cause I was so excited, and it was worth it. I'm so happy that this place is back! Ambiance - 5/5 - WOW - They really went all out! The place has a very chic vibe to it. It has amazing furniture and great seating options for groups or people who want to sit and study. I'll also add that they have free fast WiFi if you need it! Service - 5/5 - The real charm of this place is the people. Tasos and Patricia are the best! The duo is unstoppable and they will ensure that you enjoy yourself. Food & Drink - 5/5 - The desserts. The food. Brunch. Coffee. Everything is so good and made fresh. I think most of the reviews here speak for themselves. This place is a hidden gem with great food and service. You honestly can't go wrong with what you order though I think the chicken souvlaki can be a little dry. Their pound cake is also really good and I'd recommend the red velvet. Surprisingly, the dish that really stands out here is their chicken and waffles! The chicken is crispy and perfectly cooked and the waffle is soft and fluffy with great flavor. The sweet potato fries that come with it are some of my favorite! Little small in terms of seating, but it's well lit and well decorated. I'd recommend checking it out if you haven't! read more
