Horrible!! I came here for the first time today 10/2/2025 and had a glitter polish gel applied to my nails, had a manicure / massage. The cuticles were not cleanly trimmed nor the nails filed down properly. When Anny applied glitter polish it was 'spotty' meaning there wasn't an even finish as there were clear spots on the nail. Not to mention I couldn't keep my finger tips on the surface of the gel machine as my fingertips felt HOT to the touch. Honest review: I have been to numerous nail salons in San Diego and Orange County and they have never provided me with quality service the way Anny does. AND they would tell me that there services cost say $20 and by the time I'd be out the door it would total around $35. Sound familiar??? Anny is the ONLY person that has NEVER charged me extra than what she says it to be. She charges $16 for an acrylic fill (which is way cheaper than other places) and regardless of whether I've asked for coffin nails, longer nails, or had multiple nails that had broken off, she has ALWAYS charged me $16. THIS is service. She is also so sweet and I enjoy talking with her Everytime I come in. I try my best to drive from irvine down to get my nails done by her because her work is awesome! Came here for the first time. Anny was very nice and the other technician was nice. Anny did not do my nails, her tech did and I am quite disappointed. I don't want to be mean, but I feel like the tech didn't have a license. The process wasn't well, she didn't cut cuticles well. I don't know how to explain, but I felt like my younger sister was trying to practice on me. Filing was awful; crooked nails not cleaned after filing. The first thing my mom said, was omg. Horrible filing job. I didn't need to say anything to her, she notified it herself. She did fine on putting lotion the legs - she took her time and didn't rush. When it came to painting, I was horrified. She didn't put the base on correctly, again felt like a 12 year old was practicing on me. Next she painted the paint crooked, flooded all of my cuticles, missed parts of my nails. I told the owner if she could tell the tech to paint straight. When she told the tech, the tech got visibly upset- rushed the chair back aggressively, said some words back to her which was in a foreign language, and stormed off to the back. Anny came up to me looked at my nails and said if the topcoat didn't fix it then she would redo it. When coming home I wish she would have redone the paint on all my nails because it's truly a horrible job. When you pay $24 plus tip for a professional pedicure and not getting it is very disappointing. read more

Love this salon! The nail techs here are so friendly and professional. The location is really close to our house but still away from the other more busy areas over here. The salon itself is very clean and there is tons of parking. My daughter loves getting her toes done and every time we come here they look so cute. Last time we came the nail tech did the cutest flower designs on her toes, it was so impressive and my daughter loved it! I highly recommend trying this place out! read more

I made an appointment for 10am with my mom on a Saturday morning to get a pedicure and to our surprise the nail salon was empty! We were only surprised because the person who recommended us to make an appointment. (We were happy it was my mom and I - so they could take their time) We were told to get our nails done by Anny but when we got in we had her husband and this other lady. Both did over the top jobs! Didn't cut either of us once. I don't understand why this place was this slow on a Saturday morning. PRO - they clean well - have 4 Spa Pedicure Chairs - have 4 manicure tables - have sharp tools to get what they need to get - Speak English well - affordable prices - they clean their tools!!!! (HUGE PLUS) CON - they don't have a lot of polish selection - bring your own if you want (this didn't bother me because I favor the pinks/red color) I think found my pedicure place for the summer!! PEDICURES are $15 but if you get a mani/pedi it is $25. read more

I only ever review a place if it is really great or really terrible. I'm glad this one is the first. So after checking the reviews at a few places I came across Annys and I decided to go here for a simple white tip. I called to see if I could do a walk in and she said to be there in about 30 min and it was nice since I didn't have to wait long when I arrived. I felt welcome as soon as I arrived and Anny was so sweet. We had conversations about all kinds of things and I loved her cute accent. She told me that she loved her job and I could tell she did. She asked questions about how my nails were looking and I only told her the truth. That they were looking perfect. It felt like the shortest nail session ever just because it was a good experience. When she finished my BF came in to pick me up and I urged him to get an eyebrow wax because well he needed it. Anny was busy with another lady but I trusted her already so we waited until she was done. She then waxed his brows and kept them manly like I asked. Such a nice lady. I live in Ramona and although there's plenty of nail salons there I'll be making the 35 min drive down to Escondido just to get service from Anny. And not to mention it's incredibly affordable. I might just have to spoil myself with a full spa mani and pedi and maybe a facial soon :) read more

Cut and polished ???? Isn't it there job to get you're dead skin !!?? The two women working were very nice and sweet. However, it was the worst quality mani/pedi i have ever had. Within an hour my gel mani chipped (2 different nails). I had to go home and do my cuticles myself as there were about 5 fingers that were not done completely. There was polish left on my skin i had to go home and take off. There was no top coat applied with the pedi. There was no lotion applied with mani. They had my wash my hands and rinse them between my legs in the pedi basin. Went as a birthday treat to myself, but i would be shocked if it lasts the 4 days till my birthday party. read more

I am over places that try to do the upsell on the mani/pedi package. You know what I am talking about. You get your massage chair going, your feeling relaxed and then someone places a menu in your lap, telling you that for $10 more, you can get a better scrub on your feet. Why can't I get a good scrub at the base price? Anny's Nails does not participate in the upsell. It's your basic, no frills salon, but the ladies provide very through and good work. A basic manicure is $12 and a mani with a spa-pedicure was about $28. You will be pleased with the results! DO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT so Anny can be prepared in case it gets busy. I am in LOVE with this place. My girlfriend lives in Vista, I live in Poway--we meet somewhat in the middle = Escondido for a mani/pedi girl time. Okay, I must say that walking into this place, I died and went to Nail Salon Heaven. I cannot say enough good things about this place...and to top it all off, their prices are very reasonable. My girlfriend and I made an appointment for 3:45pm on a Wednesday. We made the appointment the same day. She sat in the spa chair and I sat at the manicure table--it was an ideal place for both of us to sit and chat while we were getting our nails done. Anny's husband, Tian, (pronounced Tee-Ahn, dunno if I spelled it correctly) did our manicures, Anny did my eyebrow and lip wax, and another friendly lady did our pedicures (I feel bad that I didn't catch her name). Everyone was very friendly and both Anny and her husband are so personable, friendly and we had great conversation with them, if you don't have a gal (or guy) pal to chat with. My mani and pedi were great--I loooooved the long massage for each, so relaxing. I brought my own colors based on a previous review, but I personally liked their selection. Either they improved their selection since my review, or me and the other reviewer differ in age. I'm a 20-something, young working professional with dark skin and like neutral colors and fun colors, too and I found a plethora of both neutral pinks, reds, and shiny colors--but also some crazy funky colors like grey, teal, blue, purple and an awesome assortment of glitter.
