Place looked decent, good atmosphere. Came in for a fill, 1 nail replaced and shorter nails. My nails are so thick now! French tip is uneven on every nail. Big gaps between the cuticle and the acrylic, like if I needed a full in a week gap. I have a nudes acrylic base and she filled it with pink powder...just noticed ut as i sat in my car. The nail that needed to be replaced, asked her to please cover the glued nail tip with acrylic on the edges and it was done but there is so much acrylic on it. Extremely overpriced... they charge for any little single thing and don't tell you anything until you are done and paying, BOOM! I decided to get a mani pedi last minute after going to the gym, which is in the same shopping center. They took e right away which was great. Bebe and Nancy did a great job on my nails. I don't have tips so it was a pretty straightforward gel mani/pedi. I chose the #3 pedi and Nancy upsold me the #4 which was fine because it was only a few more dollars ($45) and it had been awhile since my last so I'm sure my callouses needed some extra attention. I chose a white shimmer for my toes and I wasn't sure about my nails, so Bebe asked if I liked natural and I said yes. She said the dipping is great, and I remember seeing that somewhere so I said sure. My nails turned out great. I showed Bebe the color I wanted. When Nancy was ready to paint my nails she showed me the clear glitter she had. I told her I had chosen white shimmer from the pink book, so she got that and I showed her. She seemed a little confused and was looking at the clear glitter. Then she said maybe she could paint my toes white then use the glitter. I said sure because there's a language barrier and I didn't think it was important enough to ask that she look for the color I picked. Now, the price. Either it's been so long since I've had a gel manicure pedicure that I've forgotten how much it is or they are charging way too much. She said $130, which I repeated and she said yes. It turned out it was $113 which is still expensive. If the pedicure was around $45 that means my gel manicure was $70. Wow! No tips, no filler, just the basic manicure with gel. Could it be that dipping stuff added $30?? I don't know. They do cash and charge but I saw several prime paying with cash and I know that's preferred so asked if there was another way to pay with cash. Yes, Venmo. I sent a payment for $150, which included a $10 tip for Bebe and Nancy. The cashier who maybe is the owner returned $17 of that, but I'm still floored by the price. Not sure I'll go back again. I sent her a message though Venmo asking for details on the service and charges. I haven't heard back. 2.5 stars would have been my preference but there is only 2 and 3 , so I rounded up. I've been coming here for years because they have been kind to me. Their skills aren't great, but I'm not picky. My very last visit however, they had me check in and I marked in their machine that I wanted a mani/pedi. One lady brings me to the pedicure seat and asks what I want, so I tell her the euro spa pedicure. She did a good job and I waited for my manicure. Over an hour passed without anyone talking to me and then a customer walks in and asks for a manicure and they were being serviced right away. I said "wait, so how much longer do I have to wait for my manicure" and they told me "well why didn't you tell us you wanted one? You should have said something." Of course I was upset because why did I wait over an hour without anyone checking on me or even asking me to pay for my pedicure? I told them I marked what I wanted in the machine and they said "we don't check that machine though." WHY HAVE PEOPLE CHECK IN WITH A MACHINE THAT YOU NEVER LOOK AT?! I don't like how they tried to blame me before they started being apologetic. I didn't yell at them because I'm not like that and I understand mistakes sometimes are made, but I sat there for over an hour without anyone checking on me. This was very sloppy of them and I hope they learn from this and improve, as I am willing to remove this review if I see that happen. I haven't decided if I will ever return yet though. read more

I honestly don't like to write bad reviews but here I go. I've been coming here for about a year maybe less. Every time I spend a minimum of $100. I'm a great tipper and I always either get a solid color pedicure or French tip, French tip manicure or long one color acrylics. Oh and I ALWAYS pay cash cause I know it's better for them! I went in today because my gel French tip manicure was chipping after only a week. Not just that, my cuticles were really bad, not what they looked like before I went to get my original French manicure. (See photos) I had 2 stones, one fell off last weekend so I went in Sunday and they replaced it at no charge. (That's my 1 star rating) another one off yesterday. So I was over it. I went in asking them to take off the gel French mani and just do a gel pink natural color, kind of like the one they use for French manicure. So the lady started off by filing then using the e File. Then she wrapped my nails in foil with cotton and acetone. Mind you my cuticle is visibly damaged but they know what they're doing I guess. When she starts doing my polish, I realized wasn't gel but at this point I just wanted it done. A man walked in asking for a manicure and a pedicure. I can tell she's telling the man up front that she wants the client, cause she's rushing thru my polish, not even getting it on my entire nail. Asks me if I'm ready for the top coat so I say NO, one more coat, with hopes of her seeing its not on the whole nail, I spot the blemishes but she just put the fan in front of walks away to help the man with the mani-pedi. I tell Michael I'm not happy with my nails and he assures me it will be fixed. 2 other nail techs look at my nails and notice they're not done properly. The same lady comes over, takes my polish off...no base coat, nor top coat...rushes again, misses spots again, I tell her AGAIN! And she says the polish is too thick it just needs one coat. Well at this point I rather have my chipped nail polish then this no base no top coat half a$$ job LOL. I paid $10 and gave her a $2 tip. They lost a loyal customer today. It's not about the money for me, but I guess it's about the money for them. The best part, she didn't offer me lotion or cuticle oil even after all the acetone she had used on me today. I guess she had a more important client to take care of. read more

I have been going to Jennie & Lee for years and do love them as technicians. However, not sure who the owner is now but the gentleman had the audacity to call me stating they failed to charge me $18 for the gel on my pedicure. Mind you I paid a total $336 for mani/pedi for me and a full set and pedi for my daughter. Not to mention I tipped $64 among 4 ladies. I will NOT be returning unfortunately that means I will not be seeing Jennie or Lee again BUT his customer service was enough to drive this paying customer out. read more

I recently moved here and decided to try Elegant Nails because it is close to my house. It was not a good experience. I paid for the second level of a pedicure with callus removal. The woman doing the pedicure spent only maybe 20 minutes doing the pedicure. For the callus removal, all she did was rub some lotion onto the bottom of my feet and rub them lightly with a pumice stone. Nothing was done to really get rid of the calluses that were there. I went home and removed more of the calluses myself with my dead skin remover than she even attempted to do. At the same time another woman was working on my nails. I stated I wanted a dip French manicure and thought I was clear that I wanted everything dipped so it stayed longer. Instead what I got was a dipped base coat and painted on white tips. By the time I realized what she was doing, it was too late to have them do it the correct way. She acted offended when I told her that wasn't what I wanted, and another lady told me it was okay because it would last as long. Neither wanted to listen to me that it was not what I wanted. The nails are extremely thick and unnatural looking. The base coat of dip is more whitish than natural looking, which I clearly stated I wanted. She also left white from doing the tip on my skin instead of cleaning up the area. I will not be going back. The other issue I had was that they are not practicing COVID guidelines. They make you feel out a piece of paper with lots of questions and take your temp, but even with only two or originally in the shop they sat us right next to each other instead of leaving an empty chair between. read more

Don't go here. This place has really gone downhill as far as their services is concerned. I saw June for my pedicure and she gave me one of the most painful pedicures I've ever had. I actually had to tell her to stop. My manicure from Teresa was subpar as well. When I checked in I told the guy that I was pressed for time and would like to have one person working on my nails and one on my feet. June was upset when Teresa came over to do my hands and actually told her to leave. She ended up doing my manicure after I said something. The guy that checked me in saw what was happening and didn't say a word. I'll never go here again. read more

Ehhhh.... Service is mediocre. First time going today, but it was a miss. My pedicure was beautiful and well done besides my big toe being crooked (even after I asked for it to be filed straight.) The tech doing my manicure was extremely rude. She ignored my request of a new set in the beginning (even though I was being charged for a removal, after correcting her, she was very short with me throughout the process and rushed my mani toward the end to get another client. I still tipped but I wouldn't go to these people for business again. Equipment is not properly sterilized. I'm used to salons having neat and tidy spaces. This salon is crammed and they don't clean/sanitize stations in between clients. Customer service is everything in this business. I love this place. Every nail technician I have had has been great honestly. However I was particularly impressed today with my technician named Snow. She did a fill and gel set on me in no more than 25 minutes. I don't mind if it takes a long time either way, it was just impressive to me the quality of work she did in such a short time ! Also, the staff is so nice in here too. Very polite and down to earth. And funny. The man that is usually checking people in at the front is very personable and hilarious. Also, so many great colors. This place is a win. I don't know why they don't have more stars. I encourage you to try coming here if you had a bad experience before, because it may have been an isolated incident.
