On 11/10/24 at around 1 p.m., I came in as a walk-in for a gel pedicure. I was pleased to be taken in right away, as this was my second visit, and I expected to have another positive experience. Unfortunately, things didn't go as I'd hoped. While the technician was cleaning my cuticles, I noticed she was cutting and pushing back aggressively, causing significant pain. She even made my left toenail bleed. I did not have any ingrown nails or issues with my feet before this appointment, and even if I had, addressing such issues is beyond what a nail salon should handle. Both of my big toes felt raw and looked pink when I left. Today, I noticed soreness in my left big toe, and when I checked, it was swollen and had I saw pus, which indicates a bacterial infection (paronychia) likely caused by excessive clipping. I have photos showing how much was cut if the owner would like to see them. I didn't speak up at the time due to anxiety, which may be my fault, but I urge you to be more cautious. Your role is to provide foot hygiene, nail health, exfoliation, moisturization, stress relief, aesthetic enhancement, and preventive care--not to create foot issues. read more

My experience was good here... for the most part. The ladies that did my pedicure and manicure were beyond amazing, caring, and they truly did a beautiful job. Their space is very clean and modern which provides a cool atmosphere. It was until the very end, when it was time to pay, that you they missed out on perfect rating. I headed to the front to pay and this lady, didn't see her name nor did I ask, stands up from her desk while doing someone else's nails, and she asked if I was paying with card. She was one of the youngest workers and that spoke the most English. I asked if they took Apple Pay and she said yes. I walk over where she was and here is what's wrong with their card payment method: the screen is hidden from you. You cannot see what they're charging nor can you add a tip by yourself prior to printing the receipt. She also just snatched the phone from my hand? Which is not only rude, you need face recognition to authorize the payment. So I said, "uh, I need to do my face..." and she slightly turned around and rolled her eyes while I finished the sentence. The male coworker giggled in the back. So she takes my phone again. Finishes paying. And has me sign. That is truly unnecessary. If they followed their system best practices like placing the screen towards the client, and authorize their payment without them snatching your phone... maybe that would make the experience 100% perfect. I made an appointment. I had to wait a couple of minutes. My nail tech cut me and then super glued the cut. He kept filing that nail, even though I asked him not to. I've never had to ask for a new nail color, but I had too. I wanted a baby pink and I got like a pastel orange and then the second time I got a bubblegum pink almost. the service took way longer than I expected. It took like two hours and 40 minutes for a medium set coffin French tip. I don't think I would go back especially for the price. I would much rather go to Lotus nails for a good French manicure and for a cheap pedicure, I would go to pretty nails on grand. read more

The lady said I had an ingrown nail and she was digging into my big toe so much to the point it hurt and I bled! Got my nails done here not even a week ago and my nails are already breaking. I got my nails done about 5 days ago, yesterday my thumbnail broke(which I had a feeling was going to happen by how the lady who did my nails put my tips on.) I went into the salon to show them and they booked me to get my one nail redone for several hours later. When it was finally time for me to get my nail fixed, a gentleman fixed my thumbnail. I asked him why my nail broke,(although I already knew why, I just wanted to see what he would say,) and he said it was because of me touching stuff and breaking my nails. Love this place! Talk to Tom or Chloe and let them know what you're looking for specifically and they will book you either the appropriate person for your needs. I like an excellent callous remover service with my pedicure while my husband prefers the massage. We each are booked with the person who specialized in our specific needs. You can call or once you're in you can text to book or reschedule. The chairs are comfortable and they took all the necessary safety measures during covid. It's nice and clean and I see them cleaning the bowls between each use. The technicians always focus on you and what they are doing. They keep their chatter with coworkers to a minimum and that's usually when they are asking or answering a question. They will talk with you but I prefer to zone out and just relax and they are fine with letting me be silent. I came here for Halloween nails and I showed the lady- I believe she's one of the owners- a picture of the nails I wanted. I said I wanted them exact and she said she could do that. After cutting one of my nails she asked if I wanted them shorter, I said no just like the picture. She nodded and proceeded. I felt from the length they may be a bit shorter than the picture but they still looked pretty long so I didn't know. After they were shaped I noticed they were quite short, but I'm not a nail artist and I trusted they could still come out good. When she put the design on I saw that was not the case and asked her if she could make the design more like the picture. She told me since I wanted my nails short (which I never once said I wanted) that the design isn't going to work. I reminded her that she told me she could make the nails look exact but she kept saying I wanted them short. I was very uncomfortable at this point because she was raising her voice and the whole salon was looking at us. I asked if I could just pay extra and we can take them off and do the length I wanted. She began yelling about how she didn't have time and even called me "crazy" and "picky". I told her I didn't want anymore service as I was on the brink of tears(I have pretty bad social anxiety) and she said I still have to pay for these and stormed off. I finally got in a chair for a full set and I was told $45 I even had a reference picture. Over an hour later my nails are finally completed, no cuticle oil in sight, the guy says my total is $65.
