My last 2 weeks of scrambling around to find salons for nails, brows, waxing before my wedding, I found this location. I had never done any threading but liked hearing that it was a good alternative to waxing, especially for those with sensitive skin. It is located in the Vons shopping mall and you could do a walk-in or make an appointment. I did the walk-in and was seated promptly. I let the esthetician know what I was interested in getting done--upper lips and eyebrows--and she went to town. If you have never been threaded before it feels like many small pinches and not nearly as painful as individually plucking or waxing. Well that was the case with the eyebrow area but not my upper lip. She saw how sensitive the area was and asked if I would like the aloe vera after. She also told me to rub some ice over the areas to help any swelling or redness go down. That was the only concern I had after it was done as I only had a few days until my wedding. Redness and swelling went down within hours. Service was speedy and the esthetician really listens to what you would like with areas of concern.
