This was my first time here and I had only gone because my sister had her pedicure done here and i liked it. Well unfortunately I did not get the lady who did hers for sure because I was not happy with my end result. First I started with my nails and I had asked for a French tip acrylic nail. When the lady started to apply the pink powder you can tell she did not really know how to apply it. She had to go back multiple times to fill in the spots she would miss. That should have been a red flag for me and just asked for her to stop but I wanted to give her a chance.when she was done applying it she moved on to filing it down. When she was done I asked her to please go back and file them more down because they were WAY tooo thick. At first she said ok and went on finishing my other hand. But when she was done with both I asked her if she was gonna go back and file more and she straight up said no. She calls one of her colleagues to see my nails to see if I was being too needy but even she told her no you need to file them more. So she went on to file them but instead of filing on top of my nail she was filing underneath my nail? Very weird cause that made my nail look even worse. I was so irritated and I just let her finish. I went on to do my pedicure hoping someone else would take over but no it was the same lady. I wanted to give her a chance at my toes plus I had already spent soooo much time there and I needed my toes done. Well I regretted it even more. My toenails were long enough to be able to be shaped the same and be the same length. I don't know how she managed to mess that up too but she did. I feel like I would have been able to do a better job myself. Later I found out she had only been doing this for maybe 2 years. She needs more practice and she needs to listen to her costumers when they are asking for something to be done/corrected. I don't think I have ever had such a bad job done EVER at any other salon. If I ever do come back I will for sure make sure I request someone else. I wish I had gotten "Jenny" I see a lot of people who leave good reviews about her. read more

I really don't understand the 3.5 star rating they have. I went to two high yelp rating nail salons, only to be turned down for no availability before I came here. When I came here they were not busy. I was hesitant to try since it is not a 5 star establishment. Boy am I glad I did give them a try. They are friendly, hardworking women! I got a European pedicure that included a 10 minute leg and foot massage with a salt scrub for $35 even. The chair has a remote for massage too! So the whole time my back is getting massaged. App they are open Sundays 10-5. I came in without an appointment and was able to be seen within 30 mins. They have been doing some cosmetic work and it looks so good. New paint, new counters, chairs, and pedicure chairs. They were very comfortable and the pricing is fair. I always love how my nails turn out and they last 2-3 weeks without a single chip. read more

Went here about three weeks ago 4 days before a wedding i was going to... I'm very new to Mani Pedis , this place looked run down and old but I decided to give it a shot, asked for a basic French tip with natural colored polish, gel and they were possibly the most amazing ever, I wish I took better pictures, they made me feel welcome and comfortable even though I couldn't underhand them sometimes lol. Anyway, awesome little hidden gem. They were very very clean and meticulous... I feel bad that I decided to try another nail place out that to me LOOKED fancier than this place... the prices here at Mai's were very very reasonable. I've been here more than a dozen times, and I will ALWAYS recommended their pedicures. However they are terrible with hand nails. I have to worry about getting an infection now because the nail tech used a USED FILE and USED buffer on me. She honestly did not deserve a tip since she cut my cuticles with the dirty buffer, kept using the phone and was extremely unsanitary. Although my nail color is beautiful the work is ugly. read more

I come here regularly because it's near me, but I must say that the quality of how your nails turn out depends on how busy the place is. I wouldn't recommend going at a busy time-- the ladies that work here seem to have "regulars" that come in that they favor (one of my nail techs rushed to be done with my nails ASAP... so she could go attend to someone else's). however, the last time I came into the salon, I was immediately sat down and my nail tech gave me the exact results I wanted. Lilly and summer are great! They are always so sweet yet funny. They are also very accommodating! There are a few times I needed to get in and out within 45 minutes and like always they are awesome at staying in that time frame! They have hire a few new employees whom are also great. It's been a really long time since I've loved the shape of my nails. Holly was amazing. She took her time and listened to how I explained my nails (typically) look with acrylic because they're naturally round. I asked she shape the acrylic flat and that's exactly what she did.
