OK so I came here to get a French tips full set and a pedicure. I paid $50 for some crappy work that was done on my nails and I explain to them that I was getting married on Valentines. I told the lady I needed them short for my job so I can tape she did not listen my nails are superlong and then she cut my finger when she was grinding my nails and this was the mother of I think the lady's name was Tiffany. I told them if I could pay through my phone I was given Attitude and Tiffany told me to Zelle her the money. This place is a waste of space and money . I am literally trying my best to calm down!!!!!! I guess I am so upset because someone treated my child like this for the first time, idk I am just appalled. I literally stood outside with my jaw dropped at what just happened. *NOTE - I ONLY- LEAVE POSITIVE REVIEWS out of 80+ reviews and 4 years elite yelper* I do not like to complain or potentially hurt any business especially if it is a problem that can be solved with a phone call to customer service!!! I truely want to see every business succeed!!! I just walked in with my daughter who is a small child and asked if anyone was available to paint her nails. A woman goes, "just paint?" I said "yes, just paint please" She looks at my daughter and says "What color?" I told her to go pick. The woman says to my daughter before she even makes it over to the polish, "Hurry up" I ignored that. She then says to my daughter after 10- 15 seconds of looking "I only have 10 minutes in between my clients so hurry up!" Now this has more to do with TONE!!! If she nicely asked my daughter to hurry I would have agreed and made my lil girl pick a color!!!! But she was sooooo rude!!! I said "wow that was rude! We will be leaving actually!" Why would I stay to let my daughter be treated like an inconvenience? Makes no sense. All you had to say was to come back and you didn't have time!!!! Then I called because I was so upset to ask for the owners number and then I asked the woman who said all of this because she answered "if my daughter was a middle aged white woman would u have spoken to her like that?" She said "NO. I wouldn't and I'm sorry." My daughter kept saying "'mommy I want to go back and tell her that was rude and stand up for myself." I'm like don't worry I already called. She can't even read! But now I have to use this moment to show my daughter not to stand up for herself...?!?!?! If you like getting your nails done here then good for u, we just moved to the area and this was our first time and will never come back obviously. UPDATE: OWNER NEVER CONTACTED ME TO APOLOGIZE. This really did scar my daughter and she has brought it up several times. I have had to convince her that what I did was enough to stand up for her. That was a lesson for me as well, I should have let her walk back in there and say how she that lady made her feel. I tried to shelter her and left her confused. To me this is just how racist people treat little black kids. She literally said it to me over the phone and my daughter heard her. This really opened up some discussions for our family and with the community. She has told all of her friends and school so this has really actually been a learning experience. read more

This is a small shop but I prefer it just like that the owner Amy and her daughter are kind human beings and from what I saw these last couple of times I've been there customers really get along with everybody who works there. I visited this place because I thought it had almost 5 stars you'd think that means they do a good job but I have had the worst experience. I asked for them to remove my acrylic nails thinking they would let them soak but to my surprise they just ripped them off. I paid $50 for a manicure with a design that was nothing like what I asked for, and once I showed her an inspiration photo she made faces at me because I am guessing it was close to closing time. I honestly do not recommend I recently moved her to Escondido and was hoping to find my permanent nail salon since I love getting my nails done. This is definitely not it. read more

When I get a pedicure, it's always very thorough and takes quite a while. Some people complain about coming in and being told they can't fit her in, they're too busy- well, it's understandable. . .if the clients make appointments, how can they choose a walk-in over a client who has an appointment? If they wanted a manicure, they should call first and make sure someone will be available!!! I moved to Escondido and needed to find a new nail place. This shop is one minute from my house; it would be too good to be true for it to be the best place in town. Well I'm sure that it is. Customer service here is top notch. It is very comfortable and welcoming. Every staff member is friendly and smiling. Nail technicians are professional and experienced. I came in for an acrylic fill and gel. My nails were a total mess: way grown out, cracking, pinky nails broken off, etc. My nail technician was Tran. I watched him literally build my nails back with acrylic. He was very thorough and detail oriented. The whole service took maybe an hour, due to him give special attention to each nail and taking his time hand shaping them. I have never been more happy with a set of nails. The shape is perfect. The gel application is flawless. I was so happy with this place I came back in the afternoon a few hours later for a spa pedicure. read more

I got French tips by Amy. She is a true artist, my nails look beautiful. A woman named Men did my European spa pedicure. I've never had such an amazing pedicure before. She took so much time and made sure to remove every callus and provide a complete relaxation experience. I keep on going there because they have become like family to me. I feel comfortable and they do a great and thorough job. The place is spotless and the products they are using are safe. Loved this place! I came by on a whim for my bird at with my 7 month old daughter. I desperately wanted a pedicure but didn't want to go somewhere where the chemical smells would bother her. This place was perfect! It was small, didn't even smell like a nail salon, and the people were incredibly friendly. On a whim I took my 5-year-old daughter and our 12-year-old friend to get mani-pedis done for my birthday just so we'd have some girl time doing something fun. Everyone here was SO sweet to us -- they were super busy but fit us in as quickly as they could. They used towels and pillows so my daughter could sit in the massage pedicure chair which she was dying to do. She was in heaven and the ladies took extra time to do flowers on her nails and massage her little hands and feet. She said, "Mom, can we do this EVERY day??" When I told her no she said, "Well, I guess I'll just have to move here then." The whole salon was cracking up. With my little Jr. Higher, Amy realized that she was feeling perhaps a little left out because of all the attention the 5yo was getting, so she took extra time to do flowers on her nails, too, and really put extra effort into pampering her as well. They did all of this sweetly, without charging anything extra, just because. I was really, really impressed. I also loved that just about every client who walked in got greeted by name whether they were on the books or a drop-in. They whole group obviously really likes their clients and takes special care to let them know how appreciated they are. I was really sad when I left Carlsbad because I loved the nail place I went there and I've just driven all the way to the coast when I wanted a pedicure ever since. But we'll be going to Amy's now.
