Loved this place! The atmosphere is great, employees are friendly, and the food is amazing. I got the cinnamon french toast with strawberries, and my boyfriend got the hobo skillet. My food was delicious and filling, they even had some boysenberry syrup for me! My boyfriend ate all of his and was very pleased as well. Their menu is big enough that I would love to come back and try more. read more

I was very pleasantly surprised to find an English breakfast in Temecula, and Annie's did a fairly decent job of making a breakfast that made me feel at home. Bacon was a little undercooked, as was the toast and hash brown, but the sausages were good. My friend had the polish sausage, which was a generous portion and she enjoyed, as well as a strawberry and banana crepe which was great! One star removed as I'm not a fan of things like wearing hats and singing/dancing when I'm just trying to have a quiet meal. read more

Last time I got food from here, I only ordered take away and we loved the food. Today, we celebrated our nephew's birthday over breakfast and we all had a great time! The food was awesome and the crew was spectacular! We specifically loved their song and dance number that made the experience more enjoyable. We would love to come and celebrate again at Annie's! As I walked in to this new old place a familiar vibe took over and I was back to the good old days like at Annie's in Lake Elsinore. The place is jammed packed with customers waiting patiently talking amongst each other. You know your at the hot spot when people are willing to wait a bit to eat. I'm watching how the staff works together to get things done and keep everything and everyone moving. As we get seated we we hear the music start playing. ANNIE'S traditions of welcoming guest is still alive. It wouldn't be the same if Jan didn't jump in and dance too. Talk about reviving and giving this place her special touch, its just what it needed. The difference is very noticable from a couple a months ago it's safe to say she brought it back to the good ole Annie's feel. I missed that feeling where your welcomed with smiles, open arms and jokes. The food was perfect and the service now is as it once was. In with the old out with the new that's what seems to have worked here. I'll be making the trip now that I know I'll find a place for me where everyone takes the time to know my name. Thank you To Jan and her staff for coming back to give us great service. read more

stopped for breakfast in TEMECULA. place was jamming' -- obviously popular with the locals. not a huge early-morning food fan so slid right down to the more lunchie choices on the extensive, diner-style menu. settled on the THE DAVID CALIFORNIA MELT (turkey, bacon, avocado and cheddar on grilled cheese bread) with crispy fries and everything was spectacular. toasty and warm, a well conceived and well executed sandwich. took half home and ate the rest for lunch. fries were crispy and fresh and arrived in a cone BELGIUM style. could not stop stuffing them in my face. waitress was right out of central casting and managed the perfect balance of perky and respectful. glad we dropped by. read more

First timers here but we were not asked if we were there before so we did not have to wear a hat. :-) We walked in and there was no wait and were seated right away. Food was fair. Atmosphere is a little confusing in that it is British decor but they play country music? The staff dances and at some point kids are asked to join in on the fun. The food is mediocre diner food. We had the french toast and Denver omelet which were okay. Staff were friendly. read more

From the first time I came to this cafe I fell in love. It has a fun and happy environment, great menu with great prices, owner/manager is delightful to watch going from one table to another with a pot of coffee asking if everything is alright. Love that they have music play every 15 minutes and the servers line dance. They make your birthday special by wearing a silly hat and make everyone sing happy birthday to you. Last time I was there I took my friend and she loved it. Love the British style decor too. Since I'm always on a special diet I was able to find something healthy from the menu, and that is the most important to me. Plus, I've been in the restaurant business for 17 years, so I know what customers look for in a good diner and this one is a good diner. My husband and I are happy to have found it and we will recommend it to all our friends and family. read more

This place is so much fun! What a great atmosphere & fantastic crew, the owner is just as fun it seems & I can't wait to come back! Prices are great, I had the Irish Cream latte which was so great. When I asked for crispy bacon well done I actually got it, which doesn't sound like a big deal but for some reason its hard to get at most places. The pancakes were yummy & the smothered home fries were fantastic! We are new to the area & it was so nice to find such a great place! read more

First time here. Enjoyed our breakfast. My wife and I both ordered the Chili Cheese Omelette. The Chili was tasty and the presentation was very good. I got the country potatoes and my wife got hash browns. The hash browns could have been cooked a little longer. We also ordered a cinnamon roll. It was okay but a little pricey. And, our server brought it out before our meal. I should have specified to bring it out after the meal. Would definitely return if we were in the area. read more

Always great food! Great staff, always a pleasure to dine there. When they were open to dine in, the dancing was always an enjoyment!

After two recent visits on both a Saturday and Sunday morning, I can definitely say that Annie's is no joke! The first time was with 5 people and we got seated within 10 minutes with Alana, who was friendly and had a great personality. No issues there, ordered a chorizo/beans/hash browns plate that was super tasty. Prices are pretty comparable to Moe's and IHOP, but I think what sets Annie's apart is how fast the food comes out! Our group of 16 all got their food under 10 minutes! The most obvious difference of course is the dancing the employees do throughout the morning, Annie included if she's there... I personally don't mind it, but if it's your birthday, beware that you might get a little something! ;) read more

Cute little breakfast spot with some British flair. We've been to this place twice, and both times it hit the spot. We most recently came on MLK Jr. Day, so there was a bit of a wait, but we were seated within 10 minutes. Service is friendly, speedy, and spot on. My go-to breakfast is simple... eggs, bacon, potatoes, and toast. I'm not one for super sweet breakfast dishes, or elaborate omelets. If you're like me, get the Annie's Special. You can decide how you want you two eggs, choose between bacon or sausage, what kind of toast, and if you want home fries or hashbrowns. If you like a little more variety, my boyfriend has tried the breakfast burrito (comes with salsa) and he loved it. Also... big bonus: THEY HAVE CHOLULA! Lots of breakfast places look at me super weird when I ask for this. This is usually my mark for a great breakfast spot. A few interesting quirks about this place: 1. If you say it's your first time here, they'll announce it to the whole diner, and make you wear some funny hats. Haha. 2. The waiters, waitresses, and buss boys randomly break into dance sporadically throughout your meal. A song will come on and suddenly they're performing a choreographed dance in front of you. Entertainment during a meal is always welcome! 3. Every table has a fun little IQ game for you to play. Just don't take it personally when you don't do all that well - it's tough. 4. Annie randomly walks around and interacts with all the tables. She's super sweet and has an awesome British accent! 5. They have signature British breakfast dishes. I've heard they're pretty good, but then again, I don't have anything to compare it to! read more

Annies is a pretty unique looking place. With the European themed restaurant, dancing waiters, and cool menu, it's a fun experience. The first time we came in, we were greeted nicely. Me and my friend ordered milkshakes for breakfast which was great cause they were really good! This is my favorite breakfast place in temecula, hands down. Such a fun environment, especially when they dance. Sarah was our server today and she was very prompt, friendly and attentive but definitely not overbearing. We ordered a mimosa flight, breakfast burrito which is huge and so delicious, and country fried steak which is to die for. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone who hasn't tried it. read more

This place gets five stars, not only did they treat us like we were family , it was our first time, they gave us silly hats to wear and gave us the shout out...niceee...they also danced to a song which I thought was pretty cool , customer service from our server was a 10 out of 10 she was spot on for everything , and the food was 10 out of 10 as well, I must say it was probably only 15 minutes wait from when we walked in to the time we got our food, plus we had drink orders taken as soon as we were seated, the food was plenty that's for sure , it was also very tasty and really hot when it came to our table, even though they had a packed house we were served fast yummy food and also treated like family. if there's ever a place that deserves recognition it's this one for sure , hands down the best breakfast joint I've been to in a LONG time..it's hard for a restaurant to catch my attention but I must say annie's you've really caught my eye... would I come back?heck yes I will. Will I reccomend annie's to n others? Description: Annie's Café is a restaurant that I had heard about from some locals as a place that would surprise me. This could not have been more true! I love a place with a good breakfast, so I am always on the lookout for a restaurant that offers a good omelet. To celebrate my friend's birthday, I wanted to choose a diner that was different and yet offered great food. Annie's fit the bill perfectly! Location: The restaurant is located in between the town of Murrieta and Temecula on Jefferson. The nearest freeway (15) exit is Winchester - turn right on Jefferson and the restaurant is located on the left. You will see an old red phone booth that decorates the outside to create the nostalgic essence of this café. It is in a semi-business area, so don't be deterred by the odd location, it is worth it! Décor: The cafe definitely reflects a nostalgic feeling of the 50-60's. Decorated in warm tones it reminds me of a by gone era and you feel that you have traveled back in time, think "Back to the Future". There is a soda fountain with stool seating, comfortable booths as well as tables with chairs. The best word to describe it would be comforting. Menu: The menu has an extensive variety. My friend ordered the French toast combo with eggs and bacon. I ordered an egg white omelet w/bacon (please, no judgement, I know this is an oxymoron), avocado, spinach, and mushrooms. My breakfast also came with home style potatoes and thick sliced fresh wheat bread (love the thick bread). I would recommend these selections as it was all great, especially the bacon! The only suggestion here would be for them to create their own homemade jams and jellies. With such good bread it deserves a special topping instead of the pre-packaged small goofy jams and jellies. Service: This where you need a couple of paragraphs to really capture the level of service. This restaurant excels in service. Pam and Oscar waited on us and were a notch above! The surprise (and it was) is that if you are a first time customer, they make you wear a very silly hat. I was willing to put on the hat, even though flat head is so not my thing. My poor friend had to wear a special birthday hat, she reminded me that she was doing this for me (lol). However, let it go...and enjoy...this is just fun stuff. I was impressed with both of our servers, and Oscar especially was very gracious in answering all my questions about the restaurant and the owners. He is quite an asset to this restaurant. The other servers perform about every 30 minutes and do a little practiced dance to music near the soda fountain area. My friend and I did not know about this entertainment, and it was a special treat! If you are a grumpy person, you may not like it. However, be ready to smile and sit back and enjoy...this is really fun stuff. Final Thoughts: I was tickled and sincerely pleased by the owners designing and creating a fun place that has a quality breakfast fare. It is wonderful to see the owners (two sisters/son that own restaurants in Murrieta and Lake Elsinore) create such an innovative take on the small town café restaurant. Definitely try it if you are in the neighborhood...or even make a special trip to come, it is worth it! I didn't get to meet the owners, but would love to know their inspiration for creating such a fun place. read more

Cheery-O! We love the Lake Elsinore location so we were tickled to find out they opened a place here in Temecula! This place is awesome! The food is delicious and fresh. The service is on point and the decor is quirky cool British chic. I ordered the veggie burger with mushrooms and grilled onions with a side of fresh fruit.and unsweetened iced tea, my hubby ordered the Daily Special breakfast. The burger is divine! I adore the flavor of the grilled mushrooms and onion..yummy! The portions are ample so bring your appetite! This is one of those places that has a cute merchandise corner that actually looks appealing enough to buy! I want a shirt and water bottle! Muy husband's meal was fantastic. He's a big guy so the portion was just right for him. As usual the food was cooked to perfection. Our waiter, young guy with English accent was attentive and brought out the food hot and ready and made sure to check in on us regularly. There isn't anything to dislike at Annie's. The food is yummy, service is good and the ambiance is fun. DO NOT forget to tell them it's your first time, if it's your first time there. They like to appreciate new customers personally!! My new favorite place for breakfast in Temecula. The ambiance is fun, the decor is detailed and very British oriented. If you haven't been there before, be sure to tell them it's your first time. My husband ordered one of their breakfast burrito. It was huge. I couldn't decide on their cinnamon French toast or an omelette so I ordered both. The French toast was yummy. Nice and thick yet perfectly cooked so out was slightly crispy on the outside and soft and moist inside. The omelette I had was the spinach, avocado, and Swiss and had them throw in some bacon. I definitely recommend it. read more

I've watched a couple of tv shows that talked about "the English Breakfast " which consisted of eggs ,baked beans, meats and potatoes. So when I went to Annie's Cafe I was excited to find out that they had a English breakfast but they call it The Winston Churchill. The service was great. The servers every so often would go in the middle of the restaurant and dance. The restaurant has England decor which is really nice. Had to wait to get seated which was not long of a wait and there's call ahead seating. Will definitely come back. read more

Annie's is a good spot to grab breakfast. The food is good, and the service is even better. Noelani was our server and did an excellent job. Paul and Carol (the owners/managers I believe?) were excellent as well, and between the three of them, we were well taken care of. Their menu is impressive, and seems to have a lot of potential. I love eggs benedict so had to give theirs a shot since it was my first time there. Sadly, for me, their version was a little below average. Feeling unsatisfied, I ordered "Kristy's Double Chocolate Chip Pancakes" to top off my meal. I am not sure who Kristy is, but she should be honored to have such deliciousness named after her. These were excellent, and a lot tastier than their eggs benedict. Overall, the chocolate chip pancakes were enough to keep me interested in the rest of their menu. Plus, the service was friendly and prices were more than fair. They even have the staff put on a little dance/show every half hour or so to help keep the customers entertained. I definitely plan on returning to try out some other menu options. For newcomers, I would suggest calling ahead for seating and/or coming in at an off hour, because the line was out the door by the time we left. read more

I really liked this location and the ambiance inside the restaurant. We remember when it was Ritchie's. They could've piggybacked on the whole 50's diner, but didn't. They rehabbed it to look more cozy. We liked it. Service was great! For me, the French Dip was lacking, although meat was good, I prefer cheese and carmelized onions on mine. Everything else we saw come out, looked great. You won't regret coming here. read more

If I had to rate this place on the food alone, I would do 4 stars. It is a good solid breakfast place, and I like the English theme. I had the breakfast burrito w/a side of gravy and DH had a skillet. Both were good. We came on a Sunday morning a few weeks back and it was crowded, so we sat at the counter. The service was good and quick, and the waitress was very friendly. So why the 3 stars? Let me preface by saying this is completely subjective and it may not bother anyone else. But, the singing! I was okay with they interrupted everyone to announce it is someone's birthday. Then, it was someone's "first time" visiting. It happened at least 6 times in the hour we were there, where they screamed out "attention everyone! it's so and so's first time here!" Add that to the specific songs that the waitresses all dropped everything and danced to (think Johnny Rockets), there were no less than 10 interruptions. It got really annoying, especially when we were just trying to eat. However, I am sure that plenty of people find it super entertaining, but I'm just not one of them. So we probably won't be back. read more

Another great visit, I can't tell you enough how much I love coming to this hot spot of a restaurant. The food is absolutely amazing and the service is outstanding. The dancing brightens your day. I love seeing the look on people faces when they are given silly and fun hats to wear for a birthday or first timers. Watching kids, and even adults smile and bop their heads when the staff does a little dance. If you haven't had the chance to come here and enjoy great food, service, and laughter. Annie's never disappoints! Food is so fresh and delicious. The staff is amazing and the little dances are what makes this place so unique! If you haven't tried it yet it's a must!
