food was great! ordered the Winston Churchill, and all the components were tasty and the portions were huge. really nice and quirky staff who gave us a Christmas song lipsync in the middle of a 100 degree summer day. read more

Highly impressed with Annie's! Food has been amazing. I'm extremely picky when it comes to gravy for biscuits and gravy and Annie's was on point! I was so prepared to be let down by another restaurant, but I wasn't! Beyond excited! read more

First off, Esmerelda greeted us at the hostess podium. She is soooo sweet and definitely a major upgrade from the last hostess when we were here before. Very kind, very attentive and wanting to cater to our needs the best she could considering it's Memorial Day weekend and very busy. We called and put our name on the list for a middle booth which was tough for Annie to accommodate, being they need to save those for bigger parties since they were slammed. Unfortunately all the stuff we order doesn't fit in a two person booth. I hated irritating Annie as you can tell she was not having the best day but she still acclimated us in a 4 person booth which was very nice of her. Our sever was Pearl. She was very hard working, pleasant and friendly. Sami was great too. Everyone here is a awesome and our food came out perfectly!!! They are their full menu back and we really enjoyed our breakfast. We hadn't been here since last year since my boyfriend is a professional baseball umpire and was gone during weekends so we were really excited to finally being able to go out to breakfast. And Happy Birthday Pearl!!! Thank you for the great service! read more

Found this place recently through Yelp, and it was definitely a great find! Went here to grab brunch, and there was a little bit of a wait but the counter/bar setting opened up quickly so we were able to get seated within 10 minutes. I was impressed with the fun & friendly atmosphere, dancing, and I believe "Annie" the owner was there in a cute pin up style red dress. I ordered a yummy Chocolate malt, and a traditional style breakfast. It was very good, and we will definitely be returning. Really loved this place! Great place all around! read more

So much fun! My husband is British, so he really appreciates having a place so close to us that serves authentic cuisine. I really love what they've done inside - a great decor of rugby balls, painted walls, and every hour they have the waiters/waitresses dance to a hit song. It's reasonably priced and great for the whole family! I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a GREAT new breakfast place! I'm eager to go back for lunch (I haven't had lunch there yet). Five stars and two thumbs up! read more

Incredible place for brunch! Excellent food and awesome service! They did a song and dance at one point and others in the diner participated as well. The staff was very accommodating and always had a smile on their face. The owner is very present and constantly checking on guests to make sure all needs are met. There was a bit of a wait, but it was well worth it. I ordered red white and blue pancakes and they were massive portions! The fruit was fresh and they had boysenberry syrup to top it off as well. My sister enjoyed the chili skillet and highly recommends it. The only issue came at the end of our visit, as our shakes we're forgotten, but were upgraded to larges for the inconvenience. They really take care of their customers here! read more

Customer service is not good at all at this place. We waited for 45 minutes for a table and advised the staff our party was getting passed-up. Even after we advised the staff they didn't get us a table as they let others go by. read more

Gordon Ramsey, where are you??? As my opening question suggests, this place is sorely in need of a remake. After reviewing the extensive menu comprised mostly of American favorites (the kind that could lead you to believe you're in one of those diners where everything is good), we ordered a French Dip sandwich and Fish and Chips, both requested with extra crispy fries. What came was a culinary disaster, with a sandwich that wasn't a French Dip at all, but the chef's pared down version of tasteless beef WITHOUT the usual onions and melty cheese you'd expect, all on a roll so limp it couldn't be picked up to eat. And the extra crispy fries asked for? Limp as a couch potato after attempting a mile-long run. The fish wasn't any better with it's huge shell of batter that readily sloughed off - the telltale sign of frozen battered fish, served with the unappetizing type of coleslaw found in those giant plastic containers at the grocery store. And while the sandwich bread and limp fries fiasco were partially rectified (the 2nd offering of fries was no crisper than the 1st), it was readily apparent neither the waitress with her emotionless face and monotone "Sorry", nor the 20-something-looking manager really gave a crap. Sooooo, from the shabby (read dirty), British-inspired decor to the straight-from-the-freezer offerings, you're better off going to Arby's or Long John Silver's, where at least you get food served as expected AND for a whole lot less money too!!! read more

I've been to this location a few times and it's always excellent it always brings back memories of going to Richie's diner here when I was a kid but I have not been disappointed here I used to go to Annie's and lake Elsinore all the time but the crazy ham lady doesn't probably want us there anymore LOL.. with that being said I've never had one bad experience at this location their fish and chips are really really good along with there any super special for breakfast it's hard to beat. read more

I went for the first time and loved it. It has a warm and inviting atmosphere. The servers performed to a Michael Jackson song while I was there. The food is also delicious at a reasonable price. read more

This place rocks. Great food, great atmosphere. The owner, Annie, is very involved with goings on, and the serving staff always provide exceptional service. They'll often pause duties to exhibit dance maneuvers and keep the crowd active and entertained. We usually go for breakfast, and it's very difficult for me NOT to order the Full Winston Churchill, which amounts to a strikingly authentic full English breakfast. If you've not had it, it's a must. The bangers are to die for. Likewise, the fish & chips are very authentic to what one might expect from a restaurant or pub experience in the UK or Ireland. Annie keeps a small selection of English grocery items near the front entrance, so if you liked the HP Sauce, or want to augment your experience with some McVities tea biscuits to take home with you, she's got the goods. The place is usually hopping when I've been, but I don't recall ever waiting more than 5-10 minutes for a table. They also have outdoor seating which is pet friendly, and well shaded. Prices are in line with most cafe and diner experiences. The Full Winston runs around $18, but is an almost comically ridiculous amount of food: Two bangers, two eggs, two strips of English bacon, mushrooms, tomato, baked beans, hash browns and toast/fried bread or English muffin. Order a pot of English tea while you're there, you'll not regret it. Their designer coffee beverages are also excellent. read more

Awesome place awesome environment super friendly staff. Everything taste great except my bacon tasted a little off. The sausages in this place are out of this world. One thing that was a little offputting was that the menus needed to be wiped down. read more

Let me begin by stating how many great reviews I had heard of this place and about the fun environment, which many people really enjoyed. When a friend asked us to meet here for breakfast with our kiddos, we were excited to try. However, off the bat, it went down hill fast. 1. Smells like a sewer, like old musty water. Yuck! 2. I was reprimanded for having a Starbucks. No outside food or drink, fine! No problem. 3. No splitting plates, so my two young children who eat like birds couldn't share their kids meal. Fine! 4. Ordered tea and was reprimanded for using my own tea bag. Mind you I paid for their tea ! Wait, we haven't even gotten to the food yet. 5. Food came, surprisingly quick. However, bacon was a grizzly, fatty mess, eggs were gooey and potatoes were raw. 6. Was reprimanded for using child sippy cup, could contain outside contraband? This place is not child friendly, this place is not customer friendly! This place is a no go! read more

I've lived in Temecula for four years but have yet to try this place until now. Came here today (on a Sunday morning) with a group of 16 family members after not being able to be accommodated at several other restaurants in town. We were all able to sit together here on a beautiful shaded patio complete with fans and a pretty waterfall. The service was great and very efficient, and the food was delicious! So hard to find during these trying days so thank you Annie's café for making it happen for my family. We will definitely be back. read more

We were stopping through and decided to checkout Annie's. I'm so glad we did. The decor is fun. My 4 kids ages (15, 13, 8, 6) loved posing by the phone booth and mural inside. We came for a late lunch and Sam (our waiter who was fantastic), brought out hats for us to wear (only if we wanted) my kids thought that was so cool and then she announced us to the rest of the guests. Everyone clapped and we felt so welcomed. The servers dance occasionally and my son jumped up to join them. Such a fun environment. The menu is large, everyone found something they liked. The food was excellent. I ordered the fish & chips and it was great, crunchy and delicate, not at all greasy. My husband got a feta spinach omelette with fresh grated hash browns and fresh squeezed oj. We will come back next time we are in Temecula. read more

Finally had a chance to try that Apple pie and it was delicious as if we made it at home ourselves. Luv their breakfast and desserts, yummy!

Came here with some of my friends for the first time and we all fell in love with this spot! The atmosphere and the food was amazing. The customer service exceeded our expectations , I was actually surprised on how friendly and happy everyone here was...it made eating breakfast/brunch so fun and felt so welcoming. On top of that the food was delicious , honestly one of the best experiences I've had in a restaurant! The owner Annie had us laughing the whole time and I can tell how happy the employees are working there as it shows on their work ethic and customer service. I will definitely be recommending this cafe to others that come to Temecula and will definitely be back to eat with Annie & her amazing staff! read more

The food was adequate. They upcharged a party of 6 without telling us. We paid the bill and gave a 20% tip on top and realized later when we got home they had already included the tip! I love giving a good tip for good service, but felt ripped off since we ended up giving a 40% tip!!! They should have mentioned this had already been added to our bill and the server should have mentioned it as well when we gave her a cash tip (two separate people paid the bill and tip). read more

The staff were all friendly. Time efficient service. Food is great, and they host a variety of options. Vegetarian and Gluten-free friendly. Would recommend for anyone seeking a local "Go Too" for meals with family or friends. Went here for the first time and even while busy, the wait was minimal. Busy = Good sign (usually). Annie, This will be the second establishment of yours that I have been to. I love it here. A small piece of Britain, combined with dancing, fun and good food. Today, I had the sirloin steak, fries, coleslaw, and a toffee nut latte. I asked for a medium steak, and I got a medium steak! My fries were perfectly cooked, and came out piping hot! The coleslaw is terrific, with just the right amount of spice. My latte, was so delicious, and we never went without water. I think what impressed me most about this location was the willingness of the MALE waitstaff to dance! Thanks to them! You made our experience that much more fun and entertaining! I love that they all seem genuinely happy to be there, it makes dining out that much more memorable. After today's visit, I am definitely incorporating your establishments to my favorite places! Excellent service! Our waitress Natalia was exceptional, Awesome service & friendly vibes!

Came here on a Sunday morning with a party of two and sat right down. Wait staff was attentive early in the meal and then almost never saw them the rest of the meal. Breakfast Burrito was generous portion and just ok, kind of plain. Biscuits and gravy were good, added the grilled vegetables on top for an extra 75 cents and they were almost raw, they did remove this charge from our bill. Neat atmosphere with servers doing entertainment during the meal but will probably pass the next time around. read more
