I unfortunately didn't get waiter name but she was amazing and got everything we needed. It did take a little bit to get our food because it was actually quite busy. Nonetheless the food was good. I had the 4 bacon Brekky with sunny side up eggs and toast and it all was delicious and came out nice and hot. We all enjoyed our food and had a good time . Will come back when visiting again. This is a great little hole in the wall with good food, good service, and good atmosphere. The restaurant butts right up against the runway area, so it's nice to sit outside and see the planes coming and going. Pretty eclectic menu with breakfast, lunch and some dinner stuff, American and Mexican food. I've had a couple of different things each time I've gone. Everything has been good. Today I ordered the chicken Caesar salad wrap with onion rings. It was delicious. Huge too. The wrap itself was toasted and overflowing so much so, that each bite kept falling apart on me. Next time I would order no croutons. The onion rings were delicious, very crunchy, good flavor. The waiter and the waitresses are so nice there, seriously everyone is. Annia's Kitchen is such a delight! Especially if you have kids to entertain! I had no idea there was a brunch place located at the SGV airport, and now we've been multiple times. The kiddo loves watching the planes take off, and the food is solid. The brunch is a mix of american and mexican dishes, and service is always great. There's an outdoor patio, which is where I'd recommend sitting if you can. Surprisingly, the planes aren't very loud, so it isn't weird/disturbing to your meal either! On 4th Sundays of the month, the SGV airport also lets people go down to the tarmac to explore and see some of the planes (the outside of them). It's a neat thing to do, especially if you've just been curious to see! It's more of a quick walk around than anything, but adds to the fun of grabbing brunch here. read more

Came back this time and had to try the chilaquiles again but with red sauce. Not gonna lie, but i think the green is where it's at. Just gotta put up with the heat and you're smooth sailing. Date: February 10, 2025 I've been eyeing this place for a while now because who doesn't love lunch with a view ?! My toddler definitely loved it! Located at the San Gabriel Valley Airport, a super cute little restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. They have a nice menu with fair prices. Asked the waiter what was the favorites and one of them was chilaquiles, so I had to try since I saw a couple other recommends this spot for their chilaquiles. It comes with carne asada and you're able to switch the sides between rice, beans and potatoes (choose 2). I thought it was delicious! We came an hour before closing, and everyone was still super friendly and did not rush us at all. We will definitely be back to try other menu items and see the airplanes. The wait was not bad. 30 minute wait on a Sunday with a large party. They do not allow reservations on Sundays from what we were told. They have indoor and outdoor seating. We sat outside so that the kids could enjoy seeing the planes. Inside is spacious as well as the patio area. I ordered the chilaquiles verdes with asada and let me tell you they were off the chain. They are pretty spicy so if you are not a fan of heat I would not recommended them because I love spicy and these pack a punch! I love the punch lol the rice and beans were okay. Chilaquiles were definitely the star of the plate. My fiancé had the French toast breakfast and my son had the jr pancake plate. They both enjoyed their food as well. My grandmother got the country fried steak and that was really yummy as well. One of the best restaurants in El Monte. I did not know about this restaurant until 2 years ago. It's located at the El Monte airport. I didn't realize people actually fly out and in to this airport! Such a nice discovery. It's usually very crowded but I would say it's worth the wait. They have indoor and outdoor seats. I would choose the outdoor patio swat if you want to watch the planes take off. The staff members are friendly and attentive. Always offering more coffee refills! I love that for breakfast. Hands down, one of the best breakfasts I've ever had--and trust me, I take breakfast very seriously. So good that I'm inside their parking lot writing this review. First off, let's address the fact that this place is literally inside an airport. I actually drove past the entrance at first because, well, I wasn't expecting to have to file a flight plan to get my bacon and eggs. But once I got inside and found the patio, I realized I had unknowingly stumbled upon the best-kept secret in town. Sitting right on the tarmac, sipping coffee while watching planes take off? Absolutely unbeatable atmosphere. Now, onto the food. I ordered two eggs, bacon, hashbrowns, and toast--classic, simple, but done to perfection. I'm ridiculously picky about my eggs (soft scrambled with cheddar, no exceptions), and they absolutely nailed it. Plus, they served it with a fresh salsa that I'm pretty sure was homemade, and it was next-level good. The hashbrowns? Crispy perfection outside, fluffy on the inside. The bacon? Delicious, though next time I'll ask for it a little crispier because that's just how I roll. It was unusually cold and windy, so my food started cooling off a little faster than I would have liked. Again, not their fault--blame Mother Nature. I knew it was time to pack it up when a rogue gust of wind literally snatched a perfectly crisp piece of hashbrown right off my fork and flung it to the ground. RIP, little buddy. Also, let's talk about the coffee. I don't normally drink more than one cup, but I had two because (1) it was actually really good, and (2) I was trying to warm up while my service dog and I braved the elements like some kind of breakfast-eating explorers. I just moved to South El Monte with my converted school bus, and let me tell you--I will be coming back here again and again. I honestly don't get why this place doesn't have five stars (or ten). MY family and I have been going to Annia's Kitchen for several years since we live in the area. It is located Inside the small El Monte Airport. The food is sooo good and the coffee is divine! The atmosphere is super friendly, your made to feel at home and are treated like family. They have the best homemade salsa (made by the owner himself)! When weather permits, the patio seating outside is great and gives you a nice view of the San Gabriel mountains and the planes & helicopters leaving and landing as you eat. We have brought so may friends and family to visit Annia's Kitchen for breakfast. They have always come back with family and friends to enjoy the atmosphere and fabulous food here. It gets very crowded on weekends so go early to get a good seat! read more

This place is located at the San Gabriel Airport and was a little hidden when we first arrived. We were seated near the window so we had a great view of the airplanes. I got the Menudo which they only serve during the weekends and my SO got the chilaquiles. Everything was delicious and the portions were pretty big so definitely good to share. Great food and service today. A 2x a month stop for my family and I. It was quite busy for a Wednesday morning. We dropped in after my nephews promotion and were seated right away in the patio. They accommodated our group size right away. We had two servers come over which was great. The food came out in about 15-20min. Everything was great from the service to the taste of the food. We came for breakfast and the chicken fried steak and eggs looked like a good way to start the day. I asked for the eggs over medium but they were overcooked all the way to over hard. Biscuits and gravy were interesting as the gravy was under seasoned and if you can believe this, had a small chunk of tasty roast beef hiding under the biscuit. This is my second time here. The place was busy but the wait time moves fairly well. I had the two egg plate with bacon, hash brown and toast. I was very pleased with my food. The bacon was crispy, just how I like it, the hash browns were little brown and crispy, they were so good. I requested sourdough toast and I don't know what bread company they use, but that was the best sourdough toast I've had in in a long time and with the jam it was heavenly. The side of the house salsa was yummy and so savory. Only thing I was not a fan of was the coffee. I could not tell if it was cheap coffee or unfiltered water they use and they did not have regular half and half. Staff was attentive and efficient and pleasant. Nice thing about this Restaurant is they have plenty of seating outside and inside. You may prefer to sit outside if you want to see the planes take off. Once seated, service was slow and it took another 30 minutes for our food to arrive. Which was really frustrating. The food was just okay but really greasy. My son went this morning... without us since he had a day off.... And he brought home a mixed berry pie. Now when I say this is the best berry pie I've ever had... I'm not kidding.
