The highlight of our weeklong getaway was Anna's Table. The food was delicious with generous portions. The service was excellent even though they were short staffed, the server was one of the best we have ever had. The ambiance was perfection, from the soft lighting to the large windows. Can't wait to return!

Came here over the past weekend to celebrate our engagement over a nice meal. While the dinner itself was solid we weren't blown away by the service or the value compared to some other spots in town. We had a reservation and I'll start by saying that the inside of the space is quite nice and modern while still feeling homey. We were quickly taken to our table which was great. The service however wasn't quite what we were hoping for. I'll note that I had mentioned in the reservation that we were coming in to celebrate an engagement, so I thought I'd see a little acknowledgement of it but didn't see or hear anything from anyone on the staff. Additionally, there was an amuse bouche that every table around us received but our server didn't bring to us which was a disappointment. Overall just weren't wowed which I would expect from this caliber of restaurant. The food was good. We had the linguine and the salmon. It just felt maybe a little spendy for the value of what you were getting. Additionally the bread that got brought out was delicious but it was not warm which was a disappointment. Don't get me wrong it was a nice meal but not a place I would rush back to and I was hoping they would have done a little more to celebrate a special evening, especially if the reservation system asks for it.

Absolutely recommend! My husband and I are quite picky coming from the restaurant industry and this spot is 12/10! Our service was top notch, the ambience was cute cozy and intimate. The food was stunning absolutely delicious. We even had the coconut cake dessert and that was insanely good too! If you're in Cannon Beach this is a must stop for dinner.

Delicious fresh oysters with cucumber mignonette and caviar. Octopus and fennel combination, great flavors. Chilled scallops, mushroom consomme, fantastic elixir. Topped off with chocolatey dessert and panna cotta. The menu changes seasonally, can't wait til next season. Truly the best seafood restaurant in town. A beautiful restaurant and the service was exceptional. The Chef truly loves the flavors of the sea. Thank you

A recently opened spot in town. Definitely more upscale but service, food, and ambience were impeccable. John, our waiter, was friendly and fun. Their complimentary Foccacia Bread was insanely good. Easily my favorite foccacia. I love how chewy and flavorful it was and that it wasn't too oily like most. Paired with rosemary olive oil, this was addicting and John kept giving us more and more. We went with four small plates to share for dinner. The Octopus is a MUST. I can eat a whole entree of this salad. Generous amount of octopus and so well-cooked. The creamy romesco sauce tied everything together perfectly. The Albacore Tuna was less flavorful, could use more citrus but again the quality and amount of tuna was top notch. Soft and tender. The Crab Cakes were delicious. ALL CRABS. And the Steamer Clams came in a creamy, curry-like broth with lots of herbs. Both delightful but not as mindblowing as the Octopus. I definitely would recommend checking them out for a nice dinner.

Unfortunately I did not have the experience I hoped to have at Anna's. I brought my boyfriend here for his birthday dinner as we've already explored most of the restaurants in Astoria. After looking around I found Anna's and was excited to try someplace new. I really love that this location focuses on locally sourced foods as well as seasonal produce. The atmosphere is very warm and welcoming, very cozy inside. The chefs table looked like a nice spot. We were greeted warmly upon entry and sat. But once the evening progressed we noticeably did not receive the same service as other patrons seated around/near us. Possibly due to our age or attire - but regardless is not acceptable. We were not explained items that were brought to the table such as their bread, it was simply dropped off. When came time for dessert, we saw those around us getting the coconut cake and decided we wanted it as well as it looked delicious and the portion size was generous. To our surprise we were charged for my partners birthday dessert, and were given slices of cake that were significantly smaller than those around us. The food was okay. My boyfriends steak was very undercooked, he didn't want to send it back as they were closing up and we didn't want to make the kitchen re-fire a steak. My salmon was good. The veggies were a bit undercooked and the carrots were not cleaned. I really enjoyed the octopus starter! All in all I'm glad we came by to experience this location. We will likely not be returning.

The food was amazing! I had the seafood stew that was brimming with a variety of seafood in a savory broth. My husband had squash stuffed with quinoa and mushroom. The bread was amazing, the appetizer was chunks of sturgeon in a romesco sauce and we took home some coconut cake. SO FRESH and delicious! Our server was very attentive and thoughtful. We sat close to the chef's table so it was great to see them cooking the food and engaging with them. The ambiance is very clean and simple. The focus is on the food and your company. We can't wait to go back!

Anna's Table was our most favorite meal throughout the entire trip in Oregon...and there were many meals :-) We tried the Beachcomber Stew, Daily Special of smoked pork topped with salmonberries and a decadent sauce, Pacific NW Oysters, Scandinavian Fish Cakes, and Crab Cakes. Everything was carefully prepared and delicious. The Scandinavian Fish Cakes were my least favorite, but the hostess recognized that and quickly rectified the situation, which I really appreciated. For dessert, we tried a dish very similar to Panna Cotta that was phenomenal. Service was great...thank you John Z for the great wine suggestion - Four Winds by Loop De Loop. We liked it so much we actually visited Loop De Loop vineyards...it was stunning! The owner and chef John is such a nice guy. Reservations are highly recommended at least 1-2 weeks in advance. We sat at the Chef's Table, which I also recommend. Definitely check it out!!!

3.50 stars. This is the best table you are going to find in Cannon Beach and probably for quite a few miles in any direction. Anna's Table has a fun, modern atmosphere with a few tabletops, a cafe table and a small yet vibrant chef's counter. Food is mostly from the sea and there is a bend towards local products. We ordered crab cakes to start. Precious little binder was used to make these delicious delicacies. The accompanying watercress and radish salad was light and refreshing. This is a good starter plate. Petrale is a nice dish that was heavy on the veggies. It's a good order if you like a light fish as opposed to overpowering flavor. The root veggie curry is plenty colorful and uses large chunks of veggie. I probably enjoyed the coconut cake dessert more than I should. Make sure you don't load up on the very enjoyable foccacia at the beginning of the meal or you might not have room for dessert. Cannon Beach and really the entire Oregon Coast could use a few more places like Anna's Table. I hope it does well!

You're paying full sit-down restaurant money for what is basically a fast-casual counter experience, and that disconnect is hard to ignore. The space itself is small -- maybe 10 tables inside plus a patio outside. The nautical decor is charming and gives it a coastal feel, but the place could use a better cleaning routine. A few spots felt a bit grimy for a restaurant setting, which isn't a great look when you're charging these prices. No dedicated parking at the location, which is worth knowing before you go. Street parking is available nearby, and there's public parking within walking distance, so it's manageable -- just not the most convenient if you're visiting during peak tourist season when spots fill up fast. I get it -- Cannon Beach is a tourist destination and prices reflect that reality. But when the portions feel small, the space feels a little rough around the edges, and you're standing in line at a counter to order, it's hard to justify the cost. Not a bad meal overall, just not quite worth what they're asking. Go in with realistic expectations.

I enjoyed the steamed Manila clams appetizer, the two oyster shooters, and my ribeye. The issue was, all the items were brought out at once. When ordering it, I did specify "to start" for the appetizers and did not in any way indicate I want it all to be brought out at once. The steak was wonderful; I was a bit disappointed that I couldn't just switch out the potatoes and asparagus for a salad, but I understand how that could be a substitution and they don't do substitutions at all. To do that I would have needed to pay $12 to add on a salad, which I chose not to do. I also was not offered bread - which coupled with the fact that neither the minimal prep time oyster shooters nor the clams with the toasted garlic baguette came out early, and I was really hungry, made me wonder whether they didn't offer it to me because I was dining solo. Every table sat before and after me, whether two people dining, or seven, were offered bread and butter. I asked for a refill of the hot water for tea three times and I understand that maybe bringing me another tea bag would have been extra, the server typically offers a new bag or a refresh without me needing to ask, so that really was different. All in all, I'd come back here; the food is stellar and the portion sizes are great. I just will know to ask for bread, and also for the two appetizers not to be brought out at the same time as a sizable entree because that made it challenging to focus on one item at a time as you don't want to oyster shooters to get warm, nor the clams & steak to get cold. Not the best balance for the level of a steakhouse that this place is. The crème brûlée was delicious.

Kind of like the feeling of coming home. The place was packed -- just a testament to their very good food and excellent drinks -- there was even a couple sitting outside and they had a fire going. Wish I had taken that photo. It was a really beautiful moment. The place was decorated and felt very holiday festive with small bright lights reflecting off the tin ceiling. Excited to have a couple of days on holiday here. Stopped in to pick up their latest version of fudge because Christian the Baker keeps evolving the art of fudge making...and you don't want to miss an iteration. Using the owner's grandfather's recipe as the base, he makes some of the best fudge in Oregon. Tonight I was told he decided to explore a Mediterranean approach and added nutty sesame to the fudge. The sharp but soft chocolate is a perfect compliment to a delicious drink on a cold, cold night. While I was waiting for the fudge to be packaged to take back to the fireplace in my room, I spied their latest culinary endeavor sitting in jars on the counter... and actually started salivating. They are now serving Pickled eggs. Incredible. When was the last time you had a pickled egg? When done right, pickled eggs are among the most satisfying and clean bite of delicious ungrilled, ungreasy proteins in the world. And the lounge has decided to serve two different kinds, so we might've died and gone to heaven. If you love eggs of every kind, as I do, boiled eggs hold a special place because they are hearty and compact and completely whole. So when you add a spices and acid to that perfection...it emerges as "wow." The service was attentive and thoughtful always, and I was told they're open New Year's Eve until 9.

You're basically sitting right on the ocean -- waves crashing just feet away -- and the view alone is worth stopping for. It's honestly one of the better oceanfront dining locations on the Oregon coast. Unfortunately, our service completely dragged the experience down. Our waitress, Melody, came to the table right from the start with an attitude because we were still looking at the menu. The tone never improved the entire meal. Only when she dropped the check did she suddenly try to switch gears with a cheerful "hope you enjoyed everything and have a wonderful day." Too little, too late. To be fair, every other staff member we interacted with was friendly and helpful -- this was clearly an isolated but very noticeable issue. Food: * Crispy breaded shrimp -- $12.95 Honestly tasted like it went straight from freezer to fryer. Pretty disappointing. * Tuna stuffed avocado -- $16.95 Not bad, but not memorable. * Cup of clam chowder -- $6.95 Average at best. * Coleslaw with bay shrimp -- $5.95 Surprisingly one of the better items -- actually pretty tasty. * Root beer -- $3.50 Nothing was terrible, but nothing stood out either -- especially for a place with a location this good. It's a shame because with that view and a small improvement in food quality (and making sure servers actually want to be there), this restaurant could easily jump from a 3-star to a 5-star stop. Right now, it feels like you're paying for the scenery more than the experience.
