Dishonest, unorganized, unethical and unapologetic. It's no wonder they have not accredited themselves with the BBB. I strongly advise against shopping here.
As an overwhelmingly positive Yelper I had been going back and forth on whether or not I was going to write this review. I had actually decided against it out of respect for my soon to be sister-in-law who ordered her wedding dress and all of the bm dresses from this shop. Then I found out the shop called her and lied to her about our current situation and lied about my reaction to said situation. Thankfully my family knows me very well and knew what she said was completely fabricated. I'm still in shock that they called a bride who was about to get married in a week to stress her out with dramatic lies and omitting their own mistakes due to the consequences of their terrible business decisions. I wasn't going to mention this awful experience to the couple, but Annabella's "Fashion" found that to be their place and priority at the time. So uncalled for, so inappropriate, so terribly unprofessional. I've never in my life experienced such careless, selfish business practices.
------
The whole ordeal is too long and drawn out to make readers suffer through, so here are some abbreviated facts:
.After being measured, bridesmaid dresses took 4 months to arrive to the shop, arriving 8 days before the wedding date. Let's just assume they were not ordered when measurements were recorded.
.The shop mixed up at least two girls' measurements, and almost let me leave the store with the wrong dress. When I informed them the measurements were incorrect they repeatedly told me I was wrong until I the bridesmaid on the phone to give her actual measurements. It was then they realized their own mixup.
.The shop neglected to place the order for one of the bridesmaid dresses.
.They ordered the wrong size dress. We know this because the bm lost 10 pounds since measurements were taken and the dress didn't zip when she got it.
.The problematic bm dress came in 4 business days before the wedding date, leaving the bm to find a seamstress and have to do rush alterations that were finally completed just hours before the wedding.
.All dresses were given to us extremely wrinkled.
.The sales clerk/owner rolled her eyes at me, was very sarcastic, called my sister-in-law with lies and did not offer anything to make up for any of their disorganization or mistakes. There was a lot of headache-inducing conversation with this woman, who was entirely unwilling to admit she and her employees made mistakes.
.As I expressed my disappointment about the entire situation the sales clerk/owner kept repeating that "it wasn't that big a deal."
45 minute drive there + 45 minutes in the shop + 45 minute drive home + missing dress + wedding is next week = not that big a deal.
On top of all of the bridesmaid dress nightmare drama, they added the cherry on top by being completely unreliable with the bride's wedding dress as well. They continually mislead my sister-in-law about the date her wedding dress would be finished. They pushed it back every single day until 3 days before the wedding, when she went in for her final fitting and to take the dress home, only to find it was still not finished. I mean COME. ON. They actually made her and her sister and mother sit in the shop for three hours until they finished. Deplorable.
When planning a wedding avoid extra and unnecessary drama, problems, rude people and bad business. Save yourself and go to BHLDN.
One star solely for the fact that my sis-in-law looked absolutely amazing in her wedding dress. Also because I have no other choice.
