    Beautiful dresses!
    Elizabeth L.

My future sister-in-law bought her dress from Sew Bridal a few weeks ago, not this dress but another one! The selection was great, the owner Kelly was so kind and the price point couldn't be beat. There were 5 of us there and we could all sit and watch her. We were allowed to takes pics and videos which a lot of bridal salons don't let you do. Please be sure you book an appointment as they do not take walk-ins. We had a wonderful time and hope many other brides check out this store. Thank you Kelly for creating a wonderful buying experience!

The dress fit like a glove!

Kelly took almost a foot off of my wedding dress while keeping the detail of the skirt. I am only 4'11" tall and even with 5" heels the dress was terribly long. She hemmed it, moved my pockets down so I could keep them as well, and added a beautiful bustle! I am looking forward to having her revamp my gown into a cocktail dress soon! Don't think about it, just book her!! You won't regret it!

Kelly is magic and i was over the moon with my experience at her salon. She worked her magic on my dress and i got endless compliments. She was a dream to work with and was so patient and listened to all of my needs. She really did make one of the most stressful parts of a wedding so painless. She also altered my bridesmaids dress for me and my flower girl's dress and she did amazing! I will forever recommend Kelly to anyone i meet! The quality is exceptional and her positive attitude and genuineness makes the atmosphere so comfortable and fun.

Once I picked and purchased my wedding dress, I was riddled with anxiety related to altering my dress! With how expensive it can be and horror stories you can find yourself reading off yelp, I just was so nervous about what to expect. Thankfully, there are wonderful and talented people like Kelly. She is super responsive and did a perfect job at making certain my dress fit perfectly for my wedding day. Kelly was also able to fit in my daughter's dress at the last moment (totally my fault). Her work is top of the line and pricing is also very fair. If you're like me, who tends to fixate on the worst case scenario before even contacting any one, then let me direct you over to Kelly. You'll be in good hands!

I attended the Italian Dinner Party with a couple friends as a Friday night outing. I'll preface…read moremy review by saying that I had certain expectations given that I'd been to a couple cooking classes at the Chopping Block. The class/party was three hours long (6:30 - 9:30). The first portion of the event is time to just drink and socialize (Bespoke is BYOB) while indulging in the fruit and cheese that's provided. The actual cooking started around 7:15. We were split into four groups with one group working on salad, one on appetizers, one on entree and one on dessert. Because of my experience with other cooking classes, I was definitely under the impression that we'd be given the opportunity to learn and cook all items on the menu so being the wanna-be chef that I am, I was a little off put when I realized that I'd only get to cook one course. I think the verbiage on the website is a bit misleading because it is presented as though each group is preparing a multi-course meal, not that each group is preparing a portion of a multi-course meal. Also, i thought the groups were a bit large. There were seven people in our group which I felt made it even harder to truly get the experience cooking the one course we were assigned since responsibilities had to be spread out amongst more people. Now for the good stuff.....I thought the menu was awesome. I actually was more impressed with the Bespoke menu than many of the menus at The Chopping Block. Our menu consisted of arancini stuffed with panchetta, white bean and rosemary bruschetta with cured egg yolk, chicken saltimbocca with creamy polenta and sicilian broccoli, and almond cake with chocolate sauce. The arancini and almond cake were out of this world good. Also, the owners/chefs were super friendly and helpful, but I do feel that the Chopping Block chefs are more knowledgeable....at least from my experience. I'd say if you're looking for a fun night out with friends and you're looking to just let loose and be social while doing a whee bit of cooking this is your spot. It truly is a dinner party (emphasis on party). If you're like me and you're looking to actually up your culinary skills I'd recommend going to a true cooking class, which is not what I'd consider Bespoke to be.

Besides keeping hands far away from the incredibly hot grill, following are a few things I learned from the cooking class/meal at Bespoke. You want to get there early if you have your heart set on making a specific dish. If not, you might end up making something less interesting, like the salad. Though each part of the meal is made by a different group, you will get to try all the dishes during the meal and every recipe is later emailed to you. It's BYOB. If you take wine, they will uncork it for you and put a label on the bottle so you don't forget which one is yours. The instructors are knowledgeable, informative, and entertaining. A lot of your experience can depend on the random strangers in your group for the food preparation or sitting next to you during the meal. We were at a table of couples and had some very lively conversation. Though this could be fun to do with a group of friends, part of the experience is getting to know new people. The recipes for our meal were excellent. Even the salad had interesting elements like picked green beans. If you are looking for a cooking class that emphasizes technique, this is not the right one for you. The Bespoke experience is more about a fun time, a good meal, and recipes that you can try later.

As someone who had recently graduated college I was feeling intimidated by the idea of a bespoke suit, thinking I likely didn't "fit" or "belong" in this world or echelon of society. EVERYONE made me feel so welcome from the moment I stepped into their amazing space that those feelings were gone immediately. The first thing that struck me was that it was Daniel himself who took the time to meet me, learn about me, and most importantly joke with me and put me at ease. You can tell that everyone at Daniel George loves what they do, and it shows in quality of garments they produce. My "wedding suit" has morphed into my go to "everything" suit! Other weddings, check. Job interviews, check. Board meetings, check. I tell any future groom there are two things I recommend to NOT skimp on: their wedding ring (yes, men can have fun and unique rings, too!) and their wedding suit. Then, I recommend ALL GROOMS to Daniel George. The last thing I will say about Daniel George is that their continued customer service never ceases to amaze me. I am able to reach out to get my garment measurements whenever I need if another groom is forcing me to rent, I can bring anything back to them for adjustments and re-sizing, etc. I've come to learn that a bespoke suit is like a tattoo, once you get one you have the non-stop itch to get your next one. Once you look, and more importantly, FEEL as good as you do in one of these suits you're constantly checking the website for their new arrivals and thinking of occasions you can use to justify a new suit to your partner.

I found Zeglio by accident years ago when I needed to get a cheap tuxedo altered for my sister's wedding. When I walked in, I was quickly greeted by Richard. He happily suggested a nearby place for alterations, but before I left, he put one of Zeglio's bespoke jackets on me to show me the difference in fit. When I left that day, I knew I wanted to have my wedding tuxedo created by these people. When that day finally came, I called Zeglio's Lakeview location to begin the process. My call was warmly answered by Richard and the experience began. Richard is an incredibly talented and knowledgeable designer. During the design portion, he was informative, patient, and considerate, which made the whole experience really enjoyable. I did my fitting and alterations at Zeglio's store in Loop. The place is super slick inside and the tailors really make you feel important: from the professionalism all the way to the small details most people would overlook, but makes a HUGE difference (suggesting I have the length of one of my shirt sleeves shorter than the other so my watch can be visible or altering the length of my pants so my socks show when I'm sitting down). Just an amazing attention to detail! My tuxedo only required a few minor adjustments. When I finally put everything on I was shocked at how flawless everything felt--I've never worn anything that has fit me so perfectly. This tuxedo made my wedding experience so much better. I wasn't nervous because I knew I looked good! It's amazing how your confidence is affected by the clothing you wear in a situation.

They don't try to upsell you at all which was very appreciated. They're very easy to work with, highly detail-oriented, and on time as far as when your suit will be done. Overall it was an incredible experience and I loved customizing my suit from the ground up without having to pay an arm and a leg. I'm already planning on coming back to replace my $150 ASOS and H&M suits!
