Oooh so yummy!! We have been watching for this place to open. We checked again and wa la, finally open. We had a great experience with pickup. We ordered meal #2 and #4. We also wanted to try the Mac and cheese and got a thing of that as well. Spicy level, we both ordered medium. I would state both our spice tolerances are pretty high but not as high as the super spicy heat seekers like my brother-in-law. The medium definitely had some heat but not so much that you need to take a drink every few bites. Basically, it's exactly as they described. The coleslaw was very nice. Your classic slaw with a good amount of black pepper which I LOVE and usually end up having to add myself. No need with theirs. The rice was in fact buttery but not dripping with butter. I really enjoyed this because the fried chicken is greasy, coleslaw is creamy and the rice dripping with butter would have been too much. Instead, it did a good job soaking up flavors and giving a break from all the rich stuff. Pickles are a must anytime you have fried chicken and I was happy to see you get more than just 1 on your plate. The fries are good. Heavy on the seasoning according to my husband which he rarely ever says. It was not a complaint though. They are a Cajun type flavor not just your typical French fry seasoning. The dipping sauce is interesting. It's sweet. It reminded me of like a mayonnaise and thousand island mix with the pickle chunks removed. It's not ranchy at all which I was kind of hoping for but still very yummy and complimented the spicy chicken very well! Mac and cheese was ooey-gooey and oh so delicious. I'm very sad the rest of it was for my daughter because after the bite I had I would have finished it along with all the food on my own plate and then I would have gained 3lbs in one sitting. We read the other reviews and truly think any issues people had can very easily be explained by a new kitchen, new employees and if you're being honest with yourself you probably made many of the same mistakes in your first job. Please don't come here, I'm not even trying to be a hater . This shii is not okay. I should have known because nobody was there, just a bunch of workers. Let's start with the fries, soggy... they could have at-least dropped some fresh fries. It wasn't like they were busy or anything. Next the chicken, tasted like it was seasoned with a spicy ramen packet. The worker said hot was okay if you like spicy but that shi damn near burnt my tongue. The only thing they can improve is the flavor of their mac. I stopped by to get some sandwiches for me and my wife. I ordered hot and the guy convinced to to get the medium. He said the hot was made with ghost peppers. I changed the order from one hot and one medium. (Some fool came in and ordered the hottest. Then he said to make it extra hot. Then he asked if they had hot sauce on the side. This guy was being a fool. I wish I could have stayed to watch him eat his volcano meal). When I got home, I split both sandwiches in half. So my wife and I each got a medium and a hot slice. We couldn't tell them apart. There was no real difference. The flavor was great. The sandwich itself was great. The heat register was way off. I asked the guy.... Is it hot hot or just Temecula Hot. Like the fool I mentioned above, maybe he was from the south and enjoyed really hot stuff and he knew that it wasn't actually hot. I don't know. The lady at the counter could use a little customer service training. When we got our food, it looked great but flavor wise, it was not there. Not impressed at all. We came in for a late and last minute dinner, should have just gone to chick-fil-a instead. The chicken was good, but order was messed up, completely nullifying it. We had ordered two meals and an extra slider, but got fries instead of that slider. $6 gone. The impressive part is that I watched one girl get over whelmed with two customers that ordered after me (it was 8:45, not the dinner rush) and started expediting the food sitting on the counter. She checked each box and wiped off the top of them and started to bag it. Another girl came out from the back to help, checked each box on the counter, rechecked two of them, put one more item into the bag and push it out of the way. The Mac and cheese was decent. The French fries were fried well. The chicken sandwich had very little coleslaw and 1 pickle slice. The chicken had a lot of rub and the hot was almost too hot to enjoy. The bathrooms were absolutely disgusting. Ceiling lights were out. Ketchup bottles were empty. It has been inconsistent. I ordered the slider and tender combo a total of 4 times and ate at the restaurant. The first 2 times the food was good hot and fresh. I would have gave it 4 stars. The 3rd time the chicken and fries were Luke warm and fries were undercooked like it had been sitting in the container for awhile, but I ate it at the restaurant so it should be hot and fresh. To be fair I ordered at 4pm a non peak dinner time so decided to try it one more time. For my forth time I went around 5pm and the food was luke warm again. The food was decent, I really can't complain. You do get a huge portion of food, but it's a little pricey. However, these days what isn't? Right when we walked in there was an awful smell. Our family loves this place and we eat here at least two times a week. I work I. The restaurant industry so I am super picky on customer service. We had a problem with one of our Angry Chickz gift cards not working and Tony one of the employees helped us and bought my meal because my card wasn't working. Tony was so helpful and went over and beyond to help me get my card activated. I was really taken back by his professionalism and the way he handled everything.
