The lady who runs this place is very nice. The donuts are fresh and tasty. They have a good selection, too. The kolaches are excellent. My favorite is the flat kolache with pan sausage, cheese, and jalapeño with toasted onions on top. It has the flavor of an onion bialy combined with a really good pan sausage kolache. They also have boudin sausage and the usual hot dog style, with and without jalapeños. Located next door to a gas station, it's a convenient stop, and definitely worth popping in. So I was craving donuts and kolaches and saw this place on my way home . To my surprise they had all types of kolaches more then the usual. We ordered : 2 jalapeño and cheese kolache 1 Boudin kolache 1 donut holes 2 drinks And she there in a free iced chocolate donut The boudin kolache is very filling and delicious ! Visiting from out of town and stumbled upon this gem and highly recommend! The lady at the front was patient with me as I placed my order and even threw in the extra donut that I was debating on getting. My father in law said the bear claws were the best he's ever had and I absolutely loved the eclairs as they didn't skip out on the filling. This donut shop has been on the list of places for us to visit, because although I'm not a huge donut fan, I love me some good kolaches and croissant sandwiches. This place is a little (alottle-lol I literally make a huge circle) off my normal path to work, but so worth the extra drive time. They make the sandwiches as soon as you order and I know it's such a basic breakfast sandwich but their croissants are AMAZING, buttery with the right amount of crisp. I also had a boudain kolache and that was also great, the spice from the boudain was just right. The bread on the kolache also has like a Hawaiian roll consistency and flavor. I decided to come here because of the good reviews and was quickly disappointed. The Thai tea 2.99 is extremely sweet and I could not even finish 1/4 of it. I'm usually not extremely picky with breakfast foods I eat because it is pretty generic, but I had to come on before anyone else wasted their money. I got a sausage egg and cheese croissant and the egg was not entirely cooked. I must admit it was a large size for being 3.29. The jumbo jalapeño sausage 2.59 was alright. So first time trying this little place and not bad. They're practicing social distance with spaces designated for people to stand for the line and a partition in front of the check out person who is wearing a mask. Now onto the food aspect, their spicy boudin (they have it labeled boubin on the glass xp) was really good and had the perfect amount of spice. Also got a bacon egg and cheese croissant, it was ok although pretty flat. Like they grilled it and pressed it down on both sides. However I did get 2 free glazed for getting the croissant so that's koolaid. Overall it was a convenient stop since we were getting gas and were in a hurry to get on the road. This is probably the best donut place in katy IMO. This shop is owned by this couple who also run it everyday and they are the sweetest! Their biscuits I get everytime before going into work and it's cool to order so it's always hot, and fresh as the husband makes it everytime. The wife (I'm assuming they are married or together so Im sorry if Im wrong) handles up front usually and is very quick and nice :). My favorite thing to get is the bacon sausage egg and cheese croissant because they make it when you order it. I also like the bacon maple donut, but you have to be early to get it.
