Seriously, why doesn't every place in this world have kolaches? I suppose if we had kolaches on every corner of NYC, I might be tempted to start every day with sausage, jalapeño and cheese wrapped in a semi-sweet pastry dough. And that could have an adverse effect on my health. But even if my life was much, much shorter, it would also be much, much tastier. Mr. Donut, in addition to the aforementioned kolaches (among other stellar kolache options, like the boudin), also has a full stock of fresh, delicious doughnuts. I worked here years ago and these ppl are by far the nicest ppl I ever met. Everything is freshly made every morning!! The donut holes are so light and fluffy they just melt in your mouth! One of the best donut shops around. I love it. I'm usually here every Saturday. The shop is owned by two siblings. Both are so kind and nice. Along with hard working. I'm there just once a week but they recognize me every time (new hair cut or not) I always get the breakfast taco (Its the best breakfast taco I've ever eaten). The donuts are pretty good for a shop not working with major franchises. Highly recommend this shop for those who believe in close small community or those who like delicious breakfast food. Sweet little donuts shop. Limited selection which was a little disappointing BUT not a lot of foot traffic these days which is understandable. The items they did have were fresh and yummy! We picked up 1 Kolache, 2 blueberry glaze, old fashioned and and apple fritter. Very lovely lady working the counter. We look forward to trying the neighborhood shop again sometime soon. read more

Their donuts are good so are their sausage and cheese kolaches. I tried coffee the first time and it wasn't filled up all the way. The second time I went my order was taken by a different lady and this time my coffee was filled up all the way. I've only been here twice but do plan on going back. read more

Got some donuts for my staff on a Friday morning. Line was long, but moved quickly. I ordered mini sausage and cheese kolaches, regular glazed donuts, blueberry cake donuts, and a chocolate glazed donut. The donuts were superb, flaky, soft, and not too sweet. Only complaint was that the kolaches were a little doughy. Everything was reasonably priced, I got several things for $7. I'd return. read more

The jalapeno sausage and cheese kolache was very good and could be surprisingly spicy at times! The donuts were soft and fluffy but the glaze they use on their plain glazed donut (my favorite kind) was much too sweet for me. I couldn't even finish it and had to throw out the other half. I am very picky about my plain glazed donuts though, i don't think other people would have an issue. read more

Just left after coming to get one long maple donut, which I have been craving for. Got in my car and realized she gave me the chocolate instead. No big deal. When I walked back in the same girl(short Asian)tells me no u said glazed chocolate. Just her approach was rude but I replied no I don't even eat chocolate so I wouldn't have said that. She went to exchange it. Put the chocolate one back(which should have been thrown away) and grabbed the maple when she bumped another coworker and dropped it. That was the only one they had left after checking in the bck, she comes bck up to tell me that's all we had and a dropped it then just stares at me. I'm like ummm ok your not going to say anything else so I suggested 2 regular maple donuts instead. Done deal. Now this is after the last time I was there a few months ago and a Hispanic lady walked in after me and started yelling at a employee about just walking out with her kids bc she heard the male employee there calling her kids mutts as they walked out.
