My wife, sister in law, and I decided to stop here on the way to Hoover Dam from Las Vegas. We were looking for something with a variety and some healthy options, this place fit the bill. This restaurant is tucked in a strip mall right along what seemed to be the main road in town. There are about 3 small tables outside and about 5-6 tables inside. Each one can sit only about 2-3 people, so unless you are picking up to go, this won't work for a large group. The decor was fun and colorful. The kitchen area had a lot of open/extra space so I'm guessing this was a bakery before and the new owners didn't remodel much to keep the cost to open down. They could probably get another 4+ tables in here if they did. Not a negative, just an observation. The menu was filled with interesting stuff. We landed on 3 very different things. There was a sweet potato bowl on the menu that looked tasty, and while reviewing the menu I watched one get delivered to a table and it looked delicious and it was ENORMOUS! I wasn't sure I wanted to each that much so I went with a chicken wrap, my wife ordered a pizza, and my sister in law ordered a "small" salad. We decided to sit outside and they brought us our food and a sample of the soup of the day as a complementary treat (or it was included with our orders, not 100% sure) the soup was a ham/lentil/bacon recipe and it was delicious. My wrap was pretty tasty too, it could have used something to add crunch, maybe wonton strips or something like that. The flavor was great though. My wife's pizza was a bit too cheesy and slightly undercooked, but it was still tasty. If we ordered that again I'd probably ask they cooked it a couple minutes longer. The "small" salad was HUGE! I can't imagine what the large is like and I can't believe the price for what you get there. It looked amazing and fresh. My sister in law said it was very good. Overall I do think they have a couple things to work on but I loved the experience and I would come again if I was in the area. It was an incredible value for the quality of the food and that's why I'm still giving them 5 stars. For about $35 it was an absolute steal for 3 people. read more

This place is ok- just ok. Its not something I would go back to anytime soon, but it was ok. It is a small counter eatery with sandwiches and a few salads. The drinks are average and come in a can. It was fine. My Italian sub had zero veggies on it- which I found strange, but it was fine. The people who worked here were pleasant enough and the overall ambiance was good too. I just don't have much to say other than it was ok. Don't rush out to eat here, but if you are in the area, it will be ok. read more

So cute it made me question if I was welcome there as a man. Chairs of gold and accents of pink showcased everything good about Vegas, leaving behind the bad. The lady behind the counter welcomed me with a great smile and had patience with me while I ordered. It's obvious they care for their customers. I got the Italian sandwich. Cute place but not what we expected. It is just a coffee shop with a few food items. Let me repeat that for those in the back... it is just coffee shop not a real restaurant. The counter service is quick but our food came out one dish at a time. So the meal for four is us took four trips from the staff. And a30 minute window for all of us to eat. Tables are set for two people. We sat close but not together. Quiche was a small 4 in pie and utterly delicious. Filled with spinach onion ham and tomato. Tender flaky crust. The breakfast burrito is filled with meats. Lots of sausage and ham -very generous BUT-and listen closely-they sprayed for bugs while we were eating. The coffee is very strong and old. A cup of plain Jane black no frills coffee. Take out would be ok if you pride way ahead of time. Need more veggie option -there were none. Want something delicious? Try the cookies. This is a welcome addition to Boulder City. I heard about Angie's Kitchen via Nextdoor, where several neighbors were happy with the experience and food. So of course I had to try it, and I am glad I did. The atmosphere is very inviting and the staff is pleasant. I met Angie (the owner) and she was very friendly and helpful. We chatted for a bit, and it was clear that she cares about her customers and is willing to adapt to meet their preferences. The food is made from scratch and organic when possible. As for the food, I went in just looking for lunch and walked out with a several items since it all looked tempting! There is a lot of variety, and everything was tasty. I was passing through on business. Found this place on Yelp. Cute little spot with friendly service. We ordered a sandwich and a salad. We will first served a sample of their tomato bisque soup. Where to begin? My family ordered a bunch of things and all the food was amazing, everything was so good! We ordered All The Chips and Dips, and there were fried plantains in the chips, a great touch. The soup of the day was Potato with Coconut Milk, sublime! The Chimichurri dip and Mango Salsa dip were so fresh tasting. We also got the Chilaquiles and wow, a huge portion, and the green sauce was just the right amount of spicy. The breakfast burrito with sausage, egg, bacon and cheese tasted home cooked. The Italian sandwich was amazing. They gave us a sample of quiche that was actually a whole quiche, and it was also super delicious and prepared perfectly. On top of all of that the Mexican Hot Chocolate was great and reminded my wife of her childhood! Another thing, we loved the affordable pricing. Picked up lunch to go to share with a friend and wanted some leftovers to leave with her for dinner. Our first time here and she wanted to try the quiche and got spinach & mushroom & really enjoyed it. I ordered a large Mexican salad which was fresh and delicious and plenty for two to share, the dressing was good and my only regret was that there was only one small dressing so next time I'll ask for two. Also ordered the veggie sandwich with whole wheat bread and I thought the hummus was very tasty and the dolmades were delish. I'd definitely recommend the restaurant to others and look forward to trying other menu options as well next time. Since I don't eat red meat it offers many new options for me here in our small town for healthy alternatives. Angie's kitchen is sunshine on a rainy day. Angie is kind friendly and so is her associate. We came in and had lunch and she gave us a yummy peice of cake. The food is fantastic and they make there own soups. The restraunt is not big mabey sits 6 people but she has decorated it very well. She has a great menu with healthy options also post's specials through the week. She also donates to the town and is always smiling and making sure we like our food. Two people came in while we were eating and just came in to tell her how much they enjoyed her food and brought them homemade cookies. I was told my sandwich and pizza would take 15-20 minutes.. well it took 34 minutes with no other orders ahead of mine. The hot sandwich was done 15 minutes before the pizza and just sat on the counter, no heat lamp, and was cold and dry by the time I got home. They didn't have and ones in the till do they offer me my money back in only change. Told them to just keep it, was almost three Dollars. After the long wait I told the man there i doubt if I would ever be back and he sneered back Have a nice day!! No apology, no care if I come back and leave bad review. Well here it is.
