Found this little gem and was excited to get some sushi after an adventurous day exploring the Hoover dam/ lake mead area. We shared the salmon wings as an appetizer and it was so delicious. The ponzu dipping sauce paired well with it (I saved it for my sushi, it was that good). We got a couple speciality rolls which were very unique and tasty. The portions are fantastic! We left feeling stuffed and our bill came out to be about $60 after tax and 20% tip. Service was attentive and friendly. We never felt rushed nor neglected. Ambience was good, we chose the bar but they also had more quiet private seating near the back that looked cozy as well. I've never been disappointed when I've gone here. The staff is always super friendly, the atmosphere is inviting, and the food is fresh. Before I became a vegetarian, I enjoyed so many of their rolls. They have the classics as well as some fun takes on traditional US sushi. I would love to see more vegan and vegetarian friendly rolls that are creative and well thought out and use either mock meats or substitutes that still give the same flavor pallet and depth to the non-veg counterparts. That being said, they've been willing to make accommodations in the past. I feel like its proximity to the college means it's just often, but I've never had to wait too long. Being a foodie and a chef, and an avid traveler, including most of Europe, I can say without a doubt this restaurant has it dialed n and is on point. Freshest sushi I've had in years. Ambience of s great. I suspect it is family owned and if so it shows that level of pride. Nothing is average. Price point is excellent. Our waiter, Austin was fantastic. If you're driving through a quaint western style town, you might miss this hidden sushi place in the old part of Boulder City, NV. On this cold day, I wanted to try their tonkatsu-pork ramen. It came to my table fast and steaming. The broth was heavenly. It needed lots of spice. I asked the friendly server and she brought out a small dish filled with spicy oily sauce. On a tour for the Hoover Dam, we stopped for lunch....got on Yelp & found Momo Sushi! The service was EXCELLENT...the sushi was on point...fresh and delicious! I was even amazed by the Pepsi I ordered, it was the best Pepsi that I've had in years...wasn't flat or too much seltzer, just perfect! I saw Momo Sushi from across the street and decided to pop in for a to go order. Service was friendly and I appreciated that they got my order out quickly so I didn't have to wait around long. The butter scallop appetizer is warm and delicious its a small serving for one person. poke lettuce wraps are very good good as well, sweet, slightly spicy. favorite rolls: I.S Roll, Baked Alaska, classic rainbow roll. When we took them out they all stuck to one another and were falling apart. :/ Rice and rolls were warm, too. Mind you it's winter and we live 5 mins away so that was disappointing. Also when I placed the order I asked if they could please label what each roll was and they did but I don't know how they thought writing them down but in no particular order would help? They also wrote down a yellowtail roll which we didn't order. Overall just very meh quality. Really had high hopes but we know better now. read more

Five stars for an excellent value! I had the nigiri lunch special - which consisted of five pieces of nigiri (chef's choice), a California Roll, and Miso Soup - for about $16. Great deal! The chef also let me know that they just got in some O Toro - which is the tastiest (and generally most expensive part of the fish). For $12 for two good-sized pieces, it was an absolute steal. You'd pay double or triple that anywhere near the Strip. Excellent food, friendly staff, good prices. Just go! read more
