This was so so good my friend is from the uk and said it was authentic. I got the cottage pie and enjoyed it. The server was nice although my friends meal was forgotten? They fixed it fast and we all had a great lunch.

Another fun experience at Cornish Pasty in Boulder City! Our server Sunny was fantastic and loving the new menu, which now has burger options, buffalo wings and onion rings, also the use of Tallow for the frying tastes great! There's also a new kids menu which is cool to offer that option. Sat outside and enjoyed the light music and sunshine!

Many years ago, I went to the one located in the Commercial Center which is now in the Arts District. I was in Boulder City last night, saw this location and had to try this location and it was amazing. First off we had Alexis as our server and she was awesome. The place was really busy and I did not know Mondays at 7:30 they have trivia night!!!! So needless to say by 7:30 it was packed with people playing and eating. Even though it was packed, Alexis never missed a beat. She took our order, always made sure our drinks were full and kept checking to make sure we were ok. Alexis was one of the best servers I've had. I would drive back to Boulder City just to hang out with Alexis and enjoy some more amazing food. They were out of the Guinness Stew which was really sad. We started with the Beet Salad and the chips. The Beets were so fresh and the dressing on the salad was so good. The chips, fresh garlic strong enough to keep all vampires away. They were so good with the garlic and cheese. Then we had the Reuben pasty and the Chicken Pot Pie Pasty. The corned beef in the Reuben was seasoned to perfection and tasted so amazing. The Chicken Pot Pie was the best tasting pot pie I've had in a long time and I've had pot pie in other restaurants within the past 30 days. The taste of this Chicken Pot Pie blew the others away. Next was the Roasted Chicken, it was very tasty but had to come home because we needed room for the Chocolate Bread pudding which was light, not sugary and oh so good. The place looks like a British pub and is really comfortable with some great ambiance. They have a pool table as well. I highly recommend Cornish Pasty. I will be back to visit them again at both locations.

Food and service were outstanding. Guinness Stew was terrific! They eagerly made us a table for 11.

Found myself in Boulder City and decided to go to Cornish pasty. I've been to the one on Vegas and Arizona, so I thought I knew what I would be getting. The menu seems smaller and less pasties so the burger called my name. Great burger, fries were good as well. The jam and mustard cream sauce were a hit.

Nestled in Historic Downtown Boulder City, Cornish Pasty Co. delivers a pleasant and delicious dining experience. The staff were friendly, attentive and made everything feel effortless. From the moment we sat down, the service set the tone for a nice visit. We appreciated the comfortable, clean, and covered dog friendly patio, and inside, the atmosphere is vibrant with fun wallpaper, wood and industrial-chic décor, and a relaxed energy, which makes for an enjoyable, casual meal with family. The pasties we tried were excellent: the crust was golden and flaky (no soggy bottoms here!), the filling hearty and satisfying, and the portion generously filling. It hit that comfort-food spot. Highly recommend the "Oggie" pasty ($16) with their red wine sauce along with their "Chicken Pot Pie" pasty ($17.50) and accompanying citrus sauce. If you're looking for a comfort food meal with big flavor that leaves you satisfied and happy, along with a wonderful dog friendly patio and friendly, efficient service, definitely go try Cornish Pasty Co. in Boulder City.

Lovely pub style corner British Bar with amazing food! The staff are all incredible and very very accommodating to anyone's needs. The beer is cold and the pasties are incredible! Working on trying g them all! Some tourist and many locals come here to get refreshments and/or food! Plenty of options! The is usually ample seating inside and out and music in the background. Good for families or a date!

I love Cornish Pasty, and was excited to learn that they had a location in Boulder City! My friend and I came here for dinner on a Friday night around 730pm. It wasn't very busy. They had indoor and outdoor seating and we decided to dine outdoors. Our waitress was nice. I ordered the chicken tikka masala pasty. It did taste pretty good, but about 30 minutes later, my stomach felt kind of weird. I ended being ok eventually but it was still an uncomfortable experience.

A cute little spot in Boulder City that came highly recommended by a few friends -- I finally got around to visiting this year. On our first visit, the food was great! The pasties were baked perfectly, piping hot, and full of flavor. We enjoyed it so much that we quickly brought more friends for a second visit. The second time, we went right when they opened on a Sunday. The weather was perfect for sitting outside, and the overall vibe was great. We had drinks, pasties, fries, and a salad. The pasties were still tasty, though one seemed slightly underbaked -- the filling was a bit watery inside. The salad was also a letdown; the lettuce wasn't very fresh, with visible red marks around the edges. A bit of a disappointment after such a strong first impression, so I'm giving it 4 stars for now. I'd still go back and give it another try, hoping for more consistency and another experience like the first time.

First of all the food is great, I really enjoyed all the food here, the pepper steak pastry tasted awesome and full of flavor. The service is great but slow because of staffing issues. We came here the week of Thanksgiving with a group of 20, it did took longer time to get our food. I will like to come to experience when they are fully staffed, I think it will be even better experience. But our waitress was excellent.

Lovely pub located in charming town center of Boulder City. Service was prompt, friendly-ish, and efficient. Was happy to see legit vegan offering for my hubby! The onion rings were yummy, but note they fry them in beef tallow, so fried items here are not vegan. My fish & chips were spot on! My hubby happily munched on his vegan pasty with a side of curried potatoes. We polished off with a local IPA--Perfect meal after a morning spent touring the Hoover Dam. Highly recommend.

Cornish Pasty Co in Boulder City was the perfect Saturday afternoon lunch date! The onion rings.... Truly somethin special! And that beet salad ... ohhhh emmm geee! But the Churchill burger ... no words for how delightful it was!!! And the service was phenomenal, THANK YOU EMILY! #BoulderCity #CornishPasty #lunchdate #Satudayafternoon

Beet Salad made Vegan without Feta
    Lo B.

Was happy to find vegan options in Boulder City after much searching! My partner tried the vegan carne adovada -- it was wayyy too spicy for her, and the breading didn't really balance out the heat. She couldn't finish it. Bummed! I went lighter with the beet salad (made it vegan by skipping the feta) even though it's listed as solely vegetarian. It was good but nothing special as it needed some kind of topping like plant based crumble/crouton/romaine. Still, I give them huge credit for offering plant-based and healthier options in an area where that's rare. So good to see. Just would want more transparency/diversity on the menu to know what's spicy or can be made vegan to actually enjoy our food. Don't plan on eating here honestly. The servers were attentive even though it was busy and took a little extra time, didn't mind as eating outside was pleasantly scenic. Solid 3 stars!

Vegi-Oggie insides scraped out into my soup.

As many who have been to Boulder City know, they roll up the sidewalks pretty early at night and although it's a delightful town, there's only a short list of things to do once the sun goes down. That said, after a 12 hour workday in the desert heat, the things I could count on was the quick walk, cheap drinks and the friendly conversations that can be found at Maxx's bar. I've been here a couple times now this week already, but tonight I stopped by after 12 hours in the sun, a Panda Bowl and a shower to grab a few drinks. As I walked down the street I could hear loud music playing and figured they just had the speakers up more than usual, but as I walked up I noticed a singer on the patio. He was singing some classics from my days, but with a raegae twist and it was quite pleasant to hear and see, especially alongside the crowd having fun outside. I really appreciate the fact that they have live music on Wednesdays. I walked in and parked my awkward butt on a barstool and was welcomed in by Kristen. She asked me what I'd like and she quickly served me my order. It felt nice being an outsider in the community, but still feeling welcomed and I was fortunate to be able to share a casual conversation with Kristen. Throughout the evening, she was very attentive and kept the beverages flowing while also tending to patrons both inside as well as on the patio enjoying the live music. This is obviously a bar with quite a few regulars, but that's what I love about bars back home and it made me feel very welcome. I enjoyed watching some game highlights on TV and took the time to catch up on emails and texts from earlier in the day. All around, this is a fantastic bar to stop by whether you're passing through or staying in town for a few days. As someone who appreciates consistency and routine, I definitely hope to be back soon and enjoy another relaxing evening at Maxx's. Two thumbs up for Kristen and the Maxx's team!

We have found the staff to be patient, knowledgeable, and friendly with suggestions on pairing their delicious brews with food. On recent visits we tried their brats with chips, and really enjoyed them. I tried the beast brat, which is a combination of a few different meats. It's something I feel like I can regularly enjoy. My fiancée tried the traditional brat, and preferred that one. We enjoyed these with the Czech Plz slow-pour and the Sugoi! green melon mochi IPA. We also recently ordered the Smorgasbord, which consists of two types of sausage, beer cheese, radishes, pickles, and warm pretzels (we ordered ours without the pretzels). It was the ideal shareable meal. We paired that with the Evocation, a delicious farmhouse ale, along with the Resinate, an American IPA. These beers went perfectly with the meal. The ambiance is very welcoming, suggesting a German Biergarten. They host different theme nights throughout the month, from tabletop gaming to trivia. They have a selection of board games, and are family friendly. This is a great stop anytime when visiting the Booze District.

UPDATE 7/27/25: This review is solely for Crafthaus' brewery tour at the Henderson Booze District,…read morewhich was guided by Wyndee Forrest. She owns the brewery with her husband, Dave Forrest. I got together with my meetup group for this tour (quite a few of them haven't been here yet until this visit), which was held on a Saturday afternoon. Tours are held on Saturdays beginning at noon and they last for an hour. Before the tour began, we were welcome to order a beer at the bar and we were allowed to take it with us during the tour. I got myself their All The Watermelon sour beer, which had that fruity sour flavor to it. I was also curious to try out their Prism Black Cherry Pomegranate hard seltzer, in which I took a four pack to go when the tour ended. I can't wait to try this out when I get to it! We also had pretzel sticks with cheese sauce on the side as a light snack. We were guided to the back of the brewery where the majority of the tour took place. Wyndee introduced herself as the co-founder of Crafthaus and explained that they will be coming up on their 11th anniversary in September, with their second location in the Arts District coming up six years. She also told us what the main ingredients for making beer were, which were water, barley, and yeast. Yeast, which is considered good bacteria in most cases, is one of the most important ingredients for beer to have. We also got to see the inside of a brewery tank, which was very interesting! Among other things I learned on this tour is that their Silver State Blonde Als is one of their best-selling beers and they make an appearance at every UNLV home game (see their Rebel Spirit beer). It was interesting to see how Crafthaus makes their beer. One of my favorite breweries in town and I will continue to come back to both their main brewery and taproom!
