I really enjoyed my experience here. Drove to BC to try some restaurants and was delighted with my choice today. Averyanna was incredible not for simply taking my order, but for blindly choosing my food without being overly hesitant. She chose the Pastrami sandwich. It was delicious and filling. It did seem over powering on what I believe is an olive pesto. But what a delightful sandwich. This is a really nice place and I would definitely recommend it to anyone. Take the chance, stop by. Loved our meal at Hanger 502! We went for a day trip to Boulder City and landed at Hanger 502 for a light lunch. We shared the caprese sandwich and the best salad and got one of their mocktails with cucumber and lime. Mocktail was tasty and refreshing. The salad had a great dressing, loved the beets and goat cheese, the arugula was a pretty spicy and bitter variety so I didn't love that as much but overall good. The sandwich was also light and tasty. They were out of fresh basil when we came so they swapped it with some fresh basil which was totally fine and still delicious. We try and support local businesses and this one is vetran owned and run. Great food, bar and staff. Easy street parking. The place is spotless every time and has a deli on site. There are two vegan sandwiches and a great selection for those on a regular diet. We keep coming back, and bringing friends, for the food and experience. Such a cute little sandwich spot! Ran the Muddy Dash 5k and stopped in for a quick lunch and ordered the turkey pesto with coleslaw. The sandwich was really good, I loved that the ciabatta wasn't tough or overly chewy as it can get sometimes. The coleslaw was really flavorful as well and not too mayo-heavy. Had lunch here on Saturday with my family. We go to Boulder City once a month. We like to eat at different places. We ordered a charcuterie board, it took a long time to come out. We then ordered a Cuban to split and were told they only had coleslaw and bagged chips left. So we went with the coleslaw (wrong choice) it was very dry and not good. The sandwich was okay. This was our first time at Hangar 502 in Boulder City and it definitely won't be our last. We came in as a family and everything we ordered was great. I had the Tail Rotor Grinder, my wife got the Korean-style Smoked Pulled Pork Sandwich, and our daughter had the Dyno Buddies. We also shared the French Bread Pizza for an appetizer (so good we ate half before I remembered to grab a photo). The food came out hot, fresh, and full of flavor. The grinder was loaded on great bread, the pulled pork had an awesome sweet and savory combo, and the Dyno Buddies were a big hit. The French bread pizza was the perfect starter and easily shareable. The place was clean, the service was good, and the overall atmosphere was welcoming and family-friendly. We grabbed a table on the patio to enjoy the beautiful weather, and it was the perfect spot to relax and take in the local vibe. The food was definitely enjoyable--nothing too over-the-top, but tasty and satisfying. Service was attentive and friendly. Prices were fair, which made the overall experience feel like a great value. Had lunch here on a Friday afternoon. Not busy and noisy. Food was delicious! Husband ordered the MUFFULETTA sandwich (pistacchio mortadella, hot capicola, soppressata, and provolone cheese served on focaccia and topped with house-made olive tapenade). He loved it - I had a bite and personally, it wasn't my taste. I had the CUBANO sandwich (braised shredded pork, ham, swiss cheese, sliced pickles, French's mustard on a pressed 8" sub roll), which was delicious! Sandwiches are served with a bag of chips & a pickle spear or for $2, you can upgrade from chips to your choice of coleslaw, macaroni salad, potato salad with bacon, or cottage cheese with hot honey and red pepper chili flakes. Husband upgraded to the cottage cheese with hot honey and I opted for the macaroni salad. The cottage cheese was so good, we decided that is how we will consume it at home from now on. For drinks, I had the Kentucky Buck cocktail (Woodford Reserve, Strawberry, Lemon, Ginger Beer, Bitters) and husband had a Hop Valley Stash Panda (Hazy) draft beer. The cocktail was delicious, very bourbon forward, but not too overpowering. We enjoyed the themeing and overall vibe of the restaurant. Been up to Boulder City to eat at Hangar 502 a few times! The vibe of the business is very welcoming and very relaxing! You're always greeted with a warm welcome from one of the staff they have. Grab yourself one of their signature cocktails or any other drink you may desire because they have a full bar inside. The sandwiches they serve at this restaurant are next level. My personal favorite is the Reuben. I will always come back here. The service is great. The food is great. The drinks are great. The experience is amazing! We went down to Boulder city for the classic car show. We saw that a new restaurant was open and decided to give it a try. The Restaurant was very clean with a modern feel to it. The restaurant was very busy, but we managed to get seats at the dining counter in the back of the restaurant. It was a very cool vintage food counter vibe since we were watching the staff make the sandwiches right in front of us. The restaurant had a very good list of beers. PBR was on tap for three dollars a pint so that was a no-brainer. Being from New Orleans, I was very surprised to see a muffaletta on the sandwich menu. I knew I had to try it, and it did not disappoint. The olive salad is made in the house and knocked it out of the park. The only difference between a traditional New Orleans muffelatta and theirs is the type of bread. However, the bread they use is an excellent choice. I had the pasta salad for my side, which was absolutely delicious. If you're in Boulder, City, definitely give this place a try. We will be back. read more

I live in BC and had never stopped in for a bite. Had a friend from LV come for a visit and we were driving around and decided it was time for a late lunch. Kaylea was our server and she was great helping us decide what to have. We both started with a cup of tomato soup which was very tasty and had a little kick we both enjoyed. Then we shared a beet salad and a chicken pesto sandwich. Enjoyed both and ate every bite. First time visiting on Veteran's day...place is relatively new, nice and clean inside and out...small patio with an outside bar area as well as some tables on the sidewalk next to the entrance...the inside dining area is larger but we opted to sit outside as it was a beautiful day...the service, at least on this day, was very slow...took forever for our food and drinks to arrive after finally placing order...the food was very good though!! Meatballs were excellent (3 for $10) and the soup and sandwich was also very good, grilled ham and cheese with a cup of tomato for $10, very reasonable...the beer prices are also solid, a pitcher of atomic duck is $25 which is quite reasonable in comparison to some other places...all in all the extremely slow pace was the bulk of the issue so maybe it was just a bad day...it wasn't overly crowded so I'd hate to experience it if it were really busy....that being said I would be willing to give it another try in the future, maybe the next time would be better and it would then garner a solid 4* review...fyi, they do offer a 10% discount to veterans and first responders which is a very nice touch, they do add a 3.4 or so percent fee when paying with a card....RECOMMEND for food/drink but service needs to improve vastly... read more

After passing by a few spots that just didn't catch our interest, we saw Hangar 502 -- it looked inviting and had good reviews, so we decided to give it a try. When you first walk in, it has the feel of a clean, casual delicatessen. It wasn't crowded when we arrived, but it was definitely starting to pick up as we were leaving. Our server was also the bartender, and it looked like there were two other staff members working at the time. Despite being busy, our server was very pleasant, helpful, and attentive. I had a few questions about the local beers, and she gave me a great recommendation. For food, I ordered the turkey club, which came on a sourdough pocket-style bread -- very fresh and well-made. My wife went with the hamburger on a brioche bun, and she really enjoyed it too. Both meals were delicious, nicely presented, and reasonably priced. Overall, Hangar 502 was a really good experience. Tried this spot out after hitting the desert on my dirt bike. Walked in and was quickly greeted by staff and beer in hand fast. The menu is solid. We came in with a big party and I was a little concerned when I saw just one person working the floor who also appeared to be the bartender. I shouldn't have worried! Though there was my big party of 15, the rest of the small restaurant had a constant flow of customers and this woman hustled while being super sweet, refilling drinks and remembering orders. I had been waiting anxiously to come eat here ever since I saw it on a FB group for former 763d members. I finally had the chance today and it did not disappoint. We arrived just before the lunch rush and were able to find a table quickly for our family of 5. We ordered two Cuban paninis(one with Cole slaw and the other with potato salad), a kids grilled cheese, a kids PBJ, Italian meatballs, antipasto pasta salad, Thai chicken skewers, a blueberry no-jito, and a devils margarita. Everything was delicious and was consumed with great enjoyment. My only regret was not taking a picture of the food before we devoured it. It has a nice open feeling and everyone was very friendly. First and definitely not the last time visiting Hangar 502. The staff was delightful and patient in spite of how busy they were when we visited and the food was fantastic. My husband and I split the the Jolly Green Veggie Sandwich and my children had both the pb&j sandwich and the grilled cheese. Everything was delicious. They picked the most perfect spot to open this restaurant on the corner because not only will they get so much traffic, but we lucked out and came on the day there was the Boulder City Car Show! Got to check our Hangar 502 today for their soft opening. They were busy but not too busy that they couldn't handle it. Great little sandwich shop with a bar and patio seating! I sat at the inside restaurant bar and talked to Thomas who was very nice and knowledgeable on the restaurant and it's origin. I had the muffuletta and told him I wanted to see if it ranked with Central Grocery in New Orleans. It held its own. Very good. He told me the focaccia is house made from a 150 year old sourdough starter purchased from Italy. I had never heard of such a thing but was very cool to learn of it. The focaccia was delicious along with all the fixings on the sandwich. I meant to ask if the menu will get more options later or not. I'll definitely be back as I frequent Boulder City often. I always feel we need to support small businesses, especially in our small town of BC. I always give the restaurants 2 visits. First visit was ok, ordered the chili, I would say it was good. Sandwich had ciabatta bread, it is much too thick and chewy for me. Sandwich was ok. So I figured I'd ask for another type bread this time, they recommended the roll. The roll was also hard and thick, I ordered it with mayo along with the aoli sauce that comes on it , but I got it completely dry. I asked for avocado, they don't have avocado! I also asked to replace the cheddar with provolone, got mozzarella! Coleslaw was old! I also decided to try the chili again , it had to be eaten with a fork, hardly any beans and barely any cheese or onion and sauce was way too thick! Lots and lots of stringy meat! I called in my order and went to pick it up, went to the counter and was told I had to go to the bar to pick it up , because that server placed my order. While the counter was not busy, My server was very busy so I waited. When I got home the very thin little bag handle broke as I was carrying my food in the house and it fell onto my carpet the chili lid was not secure and came off and spilled out, luckily most of it stayed in the little bag! The Fritos were covered in chili but saved! I saved what was left in the bowl, it was so thick. l guess it was just a bad day!
