We could have used a good burger and fries. Oh well...maybe next time. P.S. spoiler alert, they're doing other renovations which made our recent trip less than optimal, so just be aware. I'll likely do a seperate review of Holiday Inn.

The waitress was professional , efficient and welcoming. We ordered the sweet soy salmon and the All American Burger. The orders were perfectly prepared and flavorful. The only negative is the limited menu. I hope in the future they expand their menu. As of now they only offer maybe 10 items, if not less. This restaurant is a fine place to eat if you're staying at the hotel, otherwise with the limited menu , you have plenty of other options in the area. Plenty of parking located on the north side of the hotel.

If you've ever had El Pollo Loco taco salad with the fried tortilla as a bowl then this is the same gist. And portions were huuuuuuuuuge. My friend and I shared and STILL had leftovers! Empanadas were pretty good, too. Filled and I could drink the green sauce it came with. I appreciate the pickled onions to accompany the empanadas. I wanna say "I'll be back" but, when.... We got the menu, but no beer prices were listed...very odd...I would have ordered one, because I am not a big mixed drink person...so water instead. We decided to order the chicken fajitas and split them....this was more than enough food when it arrived. They also brought chips and salsa to the table. The chips were pretty hard and the salsa was very bland...I get it, not a lot of people like spice....but at least have something more than Cholula at the table or make something hotter in the back for people who can handle some heat. They lit the fajitas on fire...nice touch. The fajita meat was very good...and it had the spice that was so longed for. The rice and beans were excellent also. Tortillas were definitely store bought....a little more effort to make them fresh would really make this a great dish over a good one...Our servers were both sweet and gracious. I would come here again and I would hope to have a spicier salsa experience and chips that did not break your teeth off.

The buffet isn't huge, but the food was good and there are lots of choices. Not bad for the price we paid. The desert bar has the MOST delicious bread pudding that I have had in a long time. Our waitress Michele was EXCELLENT she kept our empty plates cleared and was coming by all the time to check on us. While we were in line waiting to get it, we met 2 other couples from N. Las Vegas that lives in our neighborhood. No, we don't know them, but it was fun talking to them in line. They too were looking for a good buffet. Yes, we will be back :)

A little disappointed, we decided to give it a try since the lunch items had just been put out fresh. Unfortunately, the hot food was a letdown. Most of the dishes were under-seasoned and surprisingly not very hot, even though they had just been brought out. The mac and cheese was watery, the fried fish was lukewarm, and the country gravy was basically flavorless. Thankfully, the salad bar and fresh fruit did not disappoint and were definitely the highlights of the meal. Overall, we were disappointed with the quality of the hot items and expected more from a buffet. Hopefully, this was just an off day.

Plenty of tvs overhead, so we had fun watching Sunday football while we waited for our tee time. Half our party was late due to weather for our golf game, and the restaurant was kind enough to let us just hang out until they arrived. Overall, a good experience!
