Comfy but low and table height more for enjoying a drink.

Ok, I have to start out with we only ate at this little in-hotel cafe was because the wife was busy crafting in the large ball-room looking area and wanted to get back quickly. They supply some of the meals for an additional charge, but not dinner tonight. My main complaint were the seats. As larger people, we appreciate how sturdy they were. But good luck getting all of your real estate, if you will, 100% on a seating surface. Very uncomfortable. I could liken it to having to use a toilet with a freakishly small opening. It's just not fun sitting on these chairs for even a minute, let alone an entire meal. And in case you're wondering, I could tell the skinny customers looked uncomfortable, too. They do have some cow print chairs that are comfy but are low and table height is probably better intended for enjoying a boozy drink, not eating a meal. Also part of the "not great" was there was a worker was using what I believe is called a cordless hammer drill for our entire meal a short distance away in the child center and at the arcade. For a Saturday dinner, it would have been nice to have some quiet. The good: Our person who seated us was nice. And our server... Juile. She was very nice and attentive, too. She got our order correct and was very accommodating. Also nice were the beverage prices. Coffee was only $2.00 and my wife's diet coke was $3.00. That's a nice change from most sit-down places. We each got a burger and fries and she got an order of buffalo wings for later (midnight snack, if needed). Burgers were sort of bland. They only had cheddar and provolone available if you wanted a cheeseburger, but the wife likes American on her cheeseburgers, so we both got them as hamburgers. Both were completely cooked, as we had requested. Coffee was good, but somewhat on the luke warm side, as I've found in other areas of this Holiday Inn property. At least the k-cup machine churns out a hot cup in the room, but this is just fyi, not officially part of the review. Fries were good and crispy. We both felt these fries would be a good base for some chili fries. We opted not to get the only available dessert, the Blueberry Cheesecake. But we saw someone's order of it at their table and it looked really good. Overall, I'd come back if I needed a meal. Their menu is very limited at this time, but word has it, they're going to expand it. In fact, we saw a couple leaving due to how limited the menu is. But although I feel they deserve a 3, I don't want to bring this work-in-progress down any stars, so the wife said 4 stars!

Casual & comfortable sit down buffet breakfast with friendly, attentive staff. Good selection plus coffee is good. Can't beat the price $10

Food and service were great but menu was small with limited options to choose from. Casual ambience. Located inside of the hotel lobby.

My husband and I split a breakfast burrito and it was and more than enough for the both of us, ordering it, wet with avocado was the move! If you're looking for a solid breakfast spot away from the casino crowds, Cinnamon Café is definitely worth a visit. Between the friendly staff and huge portions it was wort the stop.

Table of 2, traveling over memorial weekend on a Saturday around 1PM, not crowded, few tables full. Took a minute to be sat, was promptly greeted by the waitress. Like a few others have said, food is bland. We ate there traveling back from Vegas. We wanted to try local but you might be better off having something reliable like a chain restaurant throughout Mesquite. Or waiting the 1 hour n half for a spot in Vegas. Overall place is clean and workers were friendly, it was quicker, just the food is alright

We decided on the sugar cookie, brown butter chocolate chip, peanut butter, and a bear claw. The cookies were all amazing- soft, just baked, and so flavorful. They were also huge. I honestly had thought this was more of a donut shop when driving by but it in fact did not have any! It's an open kitchen/bakery, so shop in the front but you can see what they are doing in the back. Not pictured (my fault!) were the bagel sandwiches made to order in which my party got two. I chose to have egg and bacon on a jalapeño bagel but there is also a plain and I believe sesame option. My kids got the macaroons and cake balls. We also got a cinnamon roll - I was sad it was not warmed for us but also I did not ask so that may be an option? It was soft and delicious however. And my dad snagged some day old oatmeal cookies on their 50% off rack. They had fresh bread loves ranging from $10-12 as well on their rack. They had some very good looking pastries however that we did not get. Puff pastry and cream swan and sweet empanadas filled with raisin and blueberries respectively. When passing through Mesquite in the future I'll be sure to stop in again

I got dirctions from the Yelp app and was soon at the golf club. The restaurant is quite nice. There is patio dining and great views of the fairway(s). After looking over hte menu, I ordered the chili verde omelette. The omelette has Pork chile verde, pepperjack cheese, sour cream, guacamole, topped with pepperjack cheese and chile verde. The sour cream and guacamole are in small cups so you can use what you want. You have a choice of toast. I got rye toast. Butter for the toast is served separately in small plastic containers for those who want dry toast. The omelette also comes with some hash browns. I was served coffee shortly after I was seated and it was refilled once and I was asked about a second refill. It was a wonderful breakfast and made my drive to Mesquite a tasty place. The Grille gets 5 stars especially for the service. My server, Jessica, was delightful and so pleasant. I'm not in Mesquite often, but I would stop here another time for a meal.

When we walked in, there was a couple ahead of us, and the two female employees were patiently going over the menu with them. When it was our turn, the employee at the register whispered something to her coworker while staring at my husband and me. She then continued to stare at us without saying anything, which immediately made us uncomfortable. When she finally asked how many were in our party, my husband replied "3," and she responded by saying, "You guys don't belong here." We were shocked and uncomfortable, so we turned around and walked away. As we were leaving, the coworker next to her--who I assume was a manager, dressed in black--and an older woman in a red uniform yelled after us saying, "She was just playing." Regardless of whether it was meant as a joke, it was completely inappropriate and unprofessional. We never even got the chance to sit down or order. I can't say for certain what motivated the behavior, but as a Hispanic family being treated differently than the customers before us, it definitely felt upsetting and concerning. This was a very disappointing experience, and I hope no one else has to go through something like this.
