It was filling and overall ok. Super cute ambiance though, so if it's just that, 5 stars! I'd say the food though, a bit underwhelming. It wasn't bad, but maybe I expected too much. I got salad on the side of my gyro pastrami pita and I'm so glad I did, or else there would be zero veggies or freshenss on my pita...which I've never had it that way before. Interesting concept of mixing pastrami with Greek food. I'm not hating, I just wished there was more meat, especially with pastrami being usually a thick layer when on a sandwich. Upon the recommendation of a friend we tried Chicago Greek. The food was above average and not bad. Downfall was that we walked in and ordered takeout. The server apparently gave our order to the person behind us and though they came right back they literally just handed us the bag of food on the word of the person that they didn't touch or open it. We went ahead and accepted it however upon getting home we were missing our Baklavas. We immediately tried calling the restaurant but the line remained busy until after they closed and we never could get through to them. The food was good enough that we might consider giving Chicago Greek another try, but the handling of the takeout order--and not being able to reach anyone afterward--was disappointing. read more

We hadn't been here since the remodel and were pleasantly surprised with the "new" look and feel. The food was still very yummy, too! The gyros are the best I've had. Our service was stellar. Warm and inviting Paige was energetic, knowledgeable and attentive. She made our date night meal experience very enjoyable. This place is amazing. We stopped here for lunch on our way to St. George and I'm so glad we did. The service is super friendly and having lived in Chicago for many years I was in heaven indulging in a traditional Chicago dog with the authentic hot dog, bun, and toppings (sport peppers, green relish, etc.). Amazing! The greek food is superb too. I had the gyro sandwich, which was so good and reminded me of the great restaurants in Greektown in Chicago. This is nice stop to or from Las Vegas and St George, just a couple minutes off the freeway. We had the chicken souvlaki plate (which comes with pita bread, rice, and a side Greek salad), spanakopita (a la carte) and the burger with fries. Everything was delicious. The burger bun was soft and the fries seasoned nicely. The Greek food was all perfectly cooked and seasoned. The staff were friendly and welcoming. It's not surprising they are highly rated. I think this is the best gyro in southern Nevada. The gyro meat is savory and juicy. The tzatziki sauce is thick and creamy and flavorful. Whenever I pass through Mesquite on a road trip, it is a must to stop here for a visit. Also, they serve real Chicago dogs with neon green relish that are quite tasty as well. read more

I cannot think of any reason to give less than 5 stars! There were 6 of us and the one big table they have was already being used so we sat at 2 tables next to each other, it was fine. There is something for everyone, my Hubbs and I both had Chicago dogs and everyone else had Greek I think. (They were at the other table) everyone we were within was really happy with their food! We were greeted immediately when we walked in and she was so nice! The dining area is small and filled up quickly after we sat down. It is decorated so cute lots of Chicago and Greece stuff on the walls and blue and white checkered table cloths on all the tables. My family and I had a quick stop here on our way to St George. My husband got a gyro, I got a chicken pita and our kids got chicken nuggets and fries, no surprise there. Everything was delicious but I did wish there was feta cheese in my pita to add some more flavor. I should have got the loaded fries because I heard they are delicious. This place is known for their Chicago dog and burger but we didn't want something so heavy for lunch after eating out so much already on our vacation. The service was fast and friendly and it was a cute fast causal restaurant with pictures of places in Greece and sports teams. Us LA foodies are hard to please being surrounded by all kinds of food. Being on a road trip means we need to lower our expectations a lot. When we see a high rated place in a small town, we figure it must be the friends and neighbors giving the rating. That was kind of what we expected when we stopped by this place. We were in for a surprise. We were greeted by a lovely lady at the cash register who took the time to answer questions with a big smile, and took our order. We sat at a table, listening to some greek version of elevator music while talking about our memories of traveling through Greece. And then the show started with the Flaming Cheese. Real Flames. And what a fantastic Cheese. Not to be missed. We got some usual greek plates with good quality of a big city. Yea, we're snubs, and we know it. :) We really enjoyed the food, the fantastic service and the ambiance. This is a spot that I would stop by if I ever find myself there. We walked in to this place with low expectations and were blown away!! We walked in and were greeted by one of the owners. The interior was clean and bright with the funnest decor from both Chicago and Greece. We ordered a classic gyro and chicken pita (to be safe). My 11 year old was a little wary of the gyro meat (after looking at the menu) so I told her that she could try both and eat the one she liked better. Our food came out super fast and the service was very friendly. My 11 year old tried the chicken pita first and loved it. She took a bit of the gyro next and there was no competition. She took the gyro for herself. Both were delicious options and I found myself wishing I'd ordered a Chicago dog as well. For good measure I also ordered a baklava and it was flaky, moist, and delightful. 10/10 recommend Chicago Greek if you're in Mesquite. It was an awesome meal!! read more

Found this gem thanks to Yelp. We were desperately trying to find somewhere to stop for lunch on our travels. It's a bit removed from the freeway but definitely worth it. I love supporting a local business. Quick service, great food (especially the fries and sauce) and friendly staff. Great little find for excellent food in Mesquite. We popped in here for dinner and got an unexpected surprise! We all tried several things including the souvlaki dinner, gyro and the sides that came with the dinner. Greek salad was excellent, and the chicken souvlaki well seasoned and cooked perfectly.
