If I can give more stars I would've. We were a big group and called in ahead. Good thing we did as they got packed midway through our meal. The service was phenomenal and the food temperatures were just perfect. All those we ordered. Everyone's order was different so we could share some of our food. The servings are mostly for a single serving. What was outstanding Ceviche (we ordered the fish 3 flavors) Octopus (best I've ever had - very tender) Shrimp & Steak Big Plate (we chose fried rice) The extra orders of plantain (we can't get enough of) Chicken fried rice (scrumptious) Grilled beef heart (also delicious) Seafood rice like paella was devoured by the group as well. Bathroom as mentioned by another reviewer was very clean. The place itself was minimally decorated but it was just perfect. When the weather gets cooler they can accommodate more people outside but currently it's just very warm. Parking is ample especially on a weekend when all the offices around them are closed. Come and try them when you are in Mesquite - passing by or just make it your meal stop and you won't be sorry. Been looking forward to coming here for lunch, but they don't open until 1pm every day except for Wednesday, when they are closed. Like everyone else in this town, I'm old. Dinner is at 5pm. Nobody is going to have lunch at 1pm then dinner 2-1/2 hours later. Open at 11am like literally every other restaurant on the planet, close from 3pm to 5pm, then reopen for dinner. It would also be helpful if they had a real website instead of a Square website where people could actually see a menu and learn more about the business. The restaurant business is hard enough without making it more difficult for your potential customers to know what you offer. The reviews are good for this place, so I'm fairly confident it's legit. I can only imagine how successful this place could be if it was set up properly. read more

Place is great! Considering that a lot of the restaurants in the area are limited on hours or they're just closed on a sundays for Utah. Nice clean place, menu is very simple. Plenty of parking. Restrooms very clean. The menu is very simple. The staff is very nice. The only thing that bum me out. The server couldn't customize the menu. All I wanted the pasta on the side without the meat. I ended up getting the beet salad. No doubt if i'm allowed to eat meat to my health situation. I know for sure I would have ate everything in that menu :) This place would have been tremendously awesome if there was more selections of vegetables and salad. Right off the bat, the service was awesome! We enjoyed our server. She was kind and took time to chat with us throughout our stay. We came in with pretty high hopes after looking at the reviews, but were a little disappointed with the quality of the food. All of our meat was overdone. Amazing! We stopped in here for dinner while passing through Mesquite on a recent trip. We had the chicha morada drink, beet salad, and seafood rice. Not a lot of seafood with the rice, but the overall portion was generous and delicious nonetheless. The food and drink were amazing overall, and the staff were great. We ate lunch at LAMA at the recommendation of someone who'd been there before and loved it. I can attest to the recommendation-it really was good. I enjoyed the chicken skewers, and my son had a fried chicken sandwich that was also super tasty (he was kind enough to let me try it). I had a Peruvian fresca drink that was unique and wonderful-I would have loved to get more of it, but after we got our first drinks, we were never offered refills. Service was friendly, although not very attentive. We had to wave someone down to request anything. However, the food was really good, so it was easier to look past that. 10 stars! What a great find. This is a hidden gem that we stumbled upon while driving from St George to LV. The restaurant is close to the highway and there's plenty of parking. The restaurant is a bit tough to find as it's in a corporate park. The service was outstanding and the dishes were perfection. In Mesquite for our daughter's sport event. We really weren't expecting much, but we were pleasantly surprised! This place is delicious!! A true hidden gem! I had lomo saltado and empanadas. What a gem of a restaurant! Definitely worth the stop if you're passing through the area. The food was amazing, perfectly prepared, high quality ingredients and everything was hot and made to order. I recently got new menus, which are helpful because they have pictures of the food. our adult son was visiting and he liked it so much the first night, he wanted to come back a second! Enjoyed the Salado's, both shrimp and beef. The Peruvian burger is delicious and the short ribs, tender, and flavorful. On a previous visit, enjoyed the empanadas--offered one chicken and one beef (two come with the order, although technically an appetizer, I got it as my meal, adding the delicious beet salad to go with it to complete the meal ) we tried one of the refreshing Peruvian Specialty drinks, and although we have not tried the desserts, they look delicious. Passing through Mesquite ....L.a.m.a Peruvian restaurant caught our interest. Not easy to find in a business center 1/4 mile north of I 15 in MESQUITE, NV. Across from Casablanca Casino. This is the best restaurant we've had on our road trips to California in the last 10 years. It is a cross between Mexican/Asian/South American. The potato/chicken/avocado appetizer is to die for. The three flavored ceviche appetizer is wonderful as well. Both dishes are very filling, flavorful and made the order in the kitchen. I expect when they get busy it may take a few minutes to bring these orders out, but we had great service and cannot speak more highly of the family that are trying to make a go of it. This is not your traditional Mesquite restaurant. Please try it. It is the place we will be going next time we come through. read more
