Egg and cornbeef hash breakfast with hash browns and toast.
Becky L.

Took a day trip to Mesquite from Vegas and stopped at the Casa Blanco Hotel. There we found this diner so we decided to try it. Everyone enjoyed their meals except my hubby's bacon was overcooked and he said the ham was not juicy (a bit dry), hence the 4 stars instead of 5. I had the veggie omelet with sourdough toast. This omelet was delicious and the hashbrowns were perfect. The portions were generous so I took half of my meal to go. I ordered a cup of their corn chowder, which was amazing. It's made fresh in-house and it showed. Perfect balance of creaminess and flavor! Our friend ordered the fish and chips which comes with soup or salad. She also chose the corn chowder and agreed with me on how good it was. She loved it so much she made an order of a bowl to go. Her hubby enjoyed an egg breakfast with corned beef hash and hashbrowns with a side of toast. The service was good; the server came by often to refill our coffee cups. The place is well decorated and clean. We will definitely be back...especially for the corn chowder!

First time here since the remodel of the Casa Blanca Resort, Nice job on the redo! Staff still needs some help on how to greet customers, friendliness, interaction, cleanup and overall knowledge. Kitchen was quick turnaround, food hot and delicious......The breakfast was wonderful. Over-easy eggs were cooked perfectly, hash browns, sourdough toast, great and the 16oz ham was so good. I had the best BLUEBERRY PANCAKES EVER!!! Only wish they had blueberry syrup to go with them!!!

Dining room. These were the only clean tables. The booths were thrashed with food and plates

I wish this place learned from the mistakes of the previous diner. The food is good but the diner is poorly managed. The floors looked like they hadn't been swept all day. Numerous tables were left with dishes from the previous customers . The manager and waitstaff just kept walking by the tables and left them unclean . I didn't see one busboy, so I assume the diner is understaffed which leaves bussing tables to the waiters. There are plenty of tables as well as bar seating available, but only a few tables were clean to dine. I can only imagine what the kitchen looks like if they're ok leaving the dining room looking a mess. Even the trash cans were piled up. If the diner gets a good manager to oversee the operations, this place would be a delightful spot . The food is good, The waitstaff are friendly, and the prices are more than reasonable. The meals are easily comped with players club card.

Service here was very welcoming, friendly, and attentive. Five stars for service. Food menu was expansive for a diner. Food was average in taste and portions were generous. Enjoyed a meat loaf dinner that came with a salad. It was enough food for two meals or to share. Located inside casa Blanca, ambiance is upbeat. Love the remodel and how this diner looks now. Very modern and nice looking with some tvs throughout.

We loved our breakfast! I was hoping it would be just as good as the previous cafe that was there, Purple Fez Bistro- and it was. There was no wait to be seated when we went at 9:30am on a Sunday. The menu has so many choices. Portions are huge, we definitely could have shared. I had the Corned Beef Hash and Eggs which comes with Hash Browns and Toast. It was delicious, the hash was really good and eggs how I ordered them. My BF had the Country Fried Steak and Eggs and he thought it was ok. He said he has had better breading of the steak. I tasted it and agreed. The breading didn't stick to the meat. Brother In Law had Grandma Millie's Breakfast. It includes 3 eggs, 2 sausage, 2 bacon, 1 (thick) ham piece, hash browns & toast, Also, choice of biscuit & gravy or hot cakes. He had the hot cakes and he enjoyed it and everything about his food. Everyone is friendly. Our server was friendly. She did forget a couple of things and we had to ask several times for things. Even then it took her longer than it should. The restaurant has lots of windows which is facing the pool area. It's a lot more modern than the previous restaurant was. They have a case of desserts at the entrance with lots of goodies but we didn't try anything this time. Definitely a nice meal.

Dinner with friends. They served an amazing beef barley soup. Portion sizes were huge. Our server was professional and attentive. She kept checking on us. There was a wait time. However it was great once seated. Not too noisy . Definitely able to have a decent conversation. This diner menu as well as the diner was new from. Last year. Good spot to try

Went on a Saturday. Server was transparent and mentioned he was slow. We didn't mind so we waited. Atmosphere was cool. They have several televisions with sports being played. The food was delicious. The ribs were so tender, they slid off the bone. The green beans had no seasoning, but that was expected so customers can season to their liking. The ice cream waffle was delicious. There was no need for syrup. It was easy to cut with just a fork. No knife was needed. Would recommend if looking for somewhere to eat in the casino.

Adorable small diner situated within the Casablanca casino, open all day and night. Our server, Megan, was quick and friendly, and the food was delicious . Not to mention price $ well priced

Soggy Meatloaf.

Had lunch today at Jersey Joe's today. I ordered the meatloaf, Bad choice!! The meatloaf was extremely mushy, I don't know how they even cut it, to make it look like slices! My mashed potatoes were cold, but the green beans were very good. The clam chowder wasn't the best either. The restaurant is extremely loud, the 3 of us couldn't hear each other, it was Soo loud. Our server was great, she was very apologetic about my meal. I tipped her because it wasn't her fault that the food was bad. She thanked me. Both of my friends tried a bite of the meatloaf and agreed that it was Awful! I wouldn't recommend patronizing this place and I won't be going back... Even Denny's is a better option, it's also pricey.

When we walked in, there was a couple ahead of us, and the two female employees were patiently going over the menu with them. When it was our turn, the employee at the register whispered something to her coworker while staring at my husband and me. She then continued to stare at us without saying anything, which immediately made us uncomfortable. When she finally asked how many were in our party, my husband replied "3," and she responded by saying, "You guys don't belong here." We were shocked and uncomfortable, so we turned around and walked away. As we were leaving, the coworker next to her--who I assume was a manager, dressed in black--and an older woman in a red uniform yelled after us saying, "She was just playing." Regardless of whether it was meant as a joke, it was completely inappropriate and unprofessional. We never even got the chance to sit down or order. I can't say for certain what motivated the behavior, but as a Hispanic family being treated differently than the customers before us, it definitely felt upsetting and concerning. This was a very disappointing experience, and I hope no one else has to go through something like this.

This visit, driving back to LA from Monument Valley. Also made a pit stop for gas. The location is just off the freeway in a little strip with a hotel. Which I've stayed at and tried this place for the first time. It's alway packed here so it's a good thing for them. It was about 30 minutes wait when we walked in but got seated around 10 minutes later. Busy of course. Menu wise, there's literally everything on it. It's like reading a newspaper. There was three of us and a mixture of meals was had. I alway love the chicken fried steak here. It's a massive potion so be warned. There's a smaller order but why not go big. That's served with gravy, house potatoes or hash browns, eggs and biscuits. The biscuits alone is the size of a baseball. Then the tri tip meal with onion rings and cole slaw. And a chicken Cobb salad. Let me just say, the size of the salad was enough to feed 2 maybe 3 people. It was enormous. Food wise, everything was good. The only thing this time, the chicken fried steak was a bit overcooked and crunchy. Even with the gravy, it was still too much. But besides that, the meal was nice. Service was amazing. Our waitress was excellent. Don't remember her name but she was so sweet and friendly. Refills were always touched up without asking. Everyone working was a doll. You pay at the register up front where there's also a little gift shop with everything. Apparels, toys, souvenirs, slippers down to boxers and pajamas. So it's like a must each time we past through this area.
