After recently moving back to the Bay Area I needed a new dentist as I could no longer see my pediatric DDS. I ended up at Dr. Angie Pagonis' office after referrals from family. I have been consistently visiting Dr. Angie P for about 3 years now and couldn't have found a better match for me. Scheduling appointments is very straight forward and you will get plenty of reminders, so you don't forget to go. I have noticed an improvement in my overall dental health since I started seeing her and would recommend Dr. Angie P for her personalized touch, kind demeanor and overall professionalism. read more

I have been a patient at Cupertino Dental Group for over 20 years now. First, let me say that the office and staff are terrific. This is a professional and well-run business which is one of the reasons they have been so successful. Patient care, knowledgeable staff, great location and the latest technology have kept our family in with Cupertino Dental Group family. And they are a family. We have had the pleasure of working with Dr. Milton Pagonis all these years and now welcome Dr. Angie Pagonis to the Group. I met Dr. Angie a few years ago as she was just beginning her practice and our son was moving from the pediatric dentist to the Cupertino Dental Group. Dr. Milton was no longer taking new patients and recommended Dr. Angie. I liked her right away. She is very personable and kind. She is also knows her stuff. There is a quiet confidence and professionalism with Dr. Angie that I admire very much. When I was in for my cleaning and exam last time, there was a seamless transition onto Dr. Angie schedule as Dr. Milton winds down his full-time practice. It had been years since I had any dental work outside of my regular cleanings and I was in need of a crown. Dr. Angie talked me through the procedure and instead of a full-crown, she only needed to do a partial. I appreciated her conservative and thorough approach and it was a great experience. I had no residual pain or discomfort after the procedure. All went swimmingly! I highly recommend the services of Dr. Angie and Cupertino Dental Group. Thank you for the years of impeccable service! read more

The last time I went into a dentist office, the lady was cleaning my teeth with one of those sharp metal things and the head of the sharp part fell into the back of my throat... twice. Luckily I didn't die. Needless to say, I didn't go back to a dentist for a year and a half. I looked around and was recommended Dr. Pagonis from Delta Dental. WONDERFUL SERVICE. ESPECIALLY by the dental assistant lady who was the nicest lady I've run into at a doctors office... I think her name was Joan. My faith in dentists has been restored and am lucky to have found these people. :) read more

I have been going to Cupertino Dental for the last 15 years. This year I began seeing Dr. Angie and she is absolutely fabulous. She is so knowledgeable and explains everything she is doing. Her expertise is obvious as soon as she begins explaining your dental needs. The office is clean, comfortable, and all of the staff, from the receptionist to the hygienists are extremely friendly and inviting. I would recommend Dr. Angie Pagonis and the Cupertino Dental Group to anyone looking for a flawless dental experience. read more

If dental appointments can be pleasant, this was it. During the consult the doc was friendly and thorough, with an easy and cheerful bedside manner, which made the much-dreaded visit way less stressful. She also took the time to explain all the terminology she was using to make me feel like I was part of the decision-making process and not just a silent partner in my own dental health. I could tell she really enjoyed interacting with me as a human and as a patient as well as took great pride in her work. Highly recommended. read more

SVETLANA G. , why are you outright LYING? If you knew Dr. Angie Pagonis, you would know she is extremely mild mannered and super friendly. Anything contrary to this, is an OUT and OUT, BOLD FACED LIE. She is gentle, she constantly checks up on you while doing any procedure, and she is very knowledgeable. She has never been rude, and is beyond professional. I actually believe she doesn't have a mean-spirited bone in her body. What I like best is that she remembers you when you come back, and always has such a pleasant smile on her face. Her dad is the same way, wonderfully pleasant and cheerful. Great bedside manners all around in this dentist office. Would definitely recommend, though this place is a bit on the pricey side. Though, it should be comparable to the prices in the area. read more

Went in again for a regular cleaning. Dr Angie and team were a complete pleasure to work with again. Always friendly and completely professional with what they do. Keep up the great work and continued growth with your practice. I hands down would recommend Dr Angie Pagonis for your dental needs. -'Toothpick' Ted read more

I used to dread going to the dentist because the last dentist I had didn't care if I was in pain. In the last 2 months I have had 4 fillings and it was painless. She numbs you first, waits a few minutes and then gives you the novacaine. I didn't feel the needle except for a little pressure. Dr. Pagonis and Kelly did a great job! Derek M read more

Dr. Angie is part of Cupertino Dental. This practice used to be owned by Dr. Milton Pagonis--whom I saw for several years and with whom I was very happy. When he retired, I was assigned to his dentist daughter, Angie Pagonis, and also a different hygienist. Most unfortunate! They now use an appointment service that uses up to 4 texts and phone calls as appointment reminders (I confirmed that I would be at the appointment each time I was asked). When I complained to Dr. Angie, rather than a response such as "I'm sorry you were inconvenienced. I will look into it and get back to you." Instead, I received an icy look from her, chin clenched, and no words. Also, I have 4 crowns and was advised by previous hygienists that the reason they floss horizontally through--instead downward--is so as to not encourage loosening of the crown. (I also do my daily flossing through this more conservative/horizontal method.) When I asked the hygienist if she wouldn't mind using the conservative flossing, she seemed exasperated, and commented, "Well, if it comes off, it's best to be at a dentist's office, isn't it?" Needless to say, I searched for and found a new dentist soon after that appointment. An almost comic response from Dr. Angie was a letter I just received saying that she is "withdrawing from further professional services as your dentist and that you have to secure the services of another dentist." Obviously, she can't tolerate hearing anything other than praise. read more

Dr. Angie and staff were phenomenal from walking in not sure how to feel while finding a new dentist to visit. However I was blown away with such great customer service and feeling welcomed right from the start. I truly appreciated each staff I encountered making this process so much easier and reassuring. Thank you Cupertino dental group! Highly recommend. read more

The only reason I shied away from 5 stars, is I don't want Dr. Angie to become complacent and stop improving towards an already impressive and promising career. I went in for a routine cleaning this past Monday, and my hygienist didn't notice anything wrong, but Angie was astute enough to notice in her examination that the space between my upper right molars was unusually sticky. She quickly determined it was a cavity and made room in her schedule to see me the following morning. Super sharp, that one. Tuesday morning, she found a second cavity as she prepped for the procedure, and filled in the first two cavities I've had in 30 years. She was calming, directed the hygienist with confidence, and executed the procedure in an efficient manner. I felt no pain, not even a pinch, or the annoying pressure that usually accompanies a novocaine injection as it hits a nerve (hate that.) Angie is very pleasant and has a sweet and calm demeanor. I felt no pain once the novocaine wore off later in the afternoon, and can't notice the fillings at all, outside of the challenging prospect of having to floss daily. It's been a surprisingly easy transition from my old dentist, Dr. Milton Pagonis her father. Dr. Milton was my dentist for the better part of three decades, and is a consummate professional. I recently saw a photo of him accepting an award at a Dentist Association Awards Dinner, only to duck out to avoid the extra attention. He's a very skilled dentist, and took perfect care of my teeth for many, many years, and I certainly wasn't eager to change. But alas, I highly recommend Angie. Bob read more

It's been over three years since I've written a Yelp review but I feel absolutely compelled to do so after the stellar service I received from Dr. Angie. I'm a long time patient at CDG, having had regular cleanings with Lorena (the best hygienist ever) and Dr. Milton (Dr. Angie's father) for over 10 years now. But when I recently learned that I had a cavity and needed a filling, it immediately brought back anxiety-ridden childhood memories of painful dental work. I dreaded the appointment, which got off to a poor start when a machine in our scheduled room blew a fuse and started leaking water onto exposed outlets. No matter, Jessie (Dr. Angie's assistant) quickly took care of things and moved me into a different room. In spite of the unfamiliar layout in this room, Dr. Angie and Jessie quickly got to business and took care to explain the procedure to me carefully, assuaging my nervousness, and executing each step to the highest level of precision, while always checking in with my comfort level. After the filling was in, Dr. Angie did over 5 refinements to file it down to my natural bite --a true perfectionist! I was so impressed with the whole experience that I wrote a thank you card to Dr. Angie and Jessie afterwards. A few days later, I received a fresh bouquet of flowers at my office with a thank you note in return. Now tell me, when was the last time you received flowers from a service provider, let alone your husband/boyfriend? This kind of exceptional service and unexpected kindness to customers is why I'm a big fan of Dr. Angie's, a loyal patient at CDG (even though I live in San Francisco) and will continue to refer friends there. read more

I've been a patient at the Cupertino Dental Group for many years. I've gone in every 6 months for teeth cleaning with Lorena, who is wonderful. For years I've been told I need a crown, to prevent a tooth from breaking. On my last visit Dr. Angie clearly described the procedure in detail. Deciding to go ahead, I scheduled. Jesse, her assistant, was wonderful and kind. I was a bit chilly, and she tucked me in under a soft blanket. They also offered me sunglasses, so the bright light wouldn't bother me. They helped a lot! Dr. Angie showed me the 3-D pictures they took of my teeth. Pretty amazing! Dr. Angie came in and asked if I had any questions before starting. She let me know how to signal her if I was uncomfortable. Anticipating my jaw would get tired after a while, she took a brief break midway. The whole thing was quite easy and not painful at all. She inspired confidence and made sure I understood everything she was doing. Jesse made sure my temporary crown fit perfectly. I hardly notice it. Everyone in the office is warm and friendly. My hygienist Lorena passed by when I was sitting in the chair and stopped to chat. Eileen at checkout is a sweetheart! The whole visit was very positive. read more

This was my first visit to the Cupertino Dental Group and my checkup and cleaning was performed my Dr. Angie Pagonis. She was very patient in clearly answering all my questions made it a point to let me know exactly what was going on at all times. This was a pleasant surprise as most of my previous dentists would only provide perfunctory responses. Service was also very prompt. There was virtually no waiting between x-ray and the cleanup, and so on. Her dental assistant, Bree, was also very knowledgeable and professional. Overall the office is very clean and appears to be very organized. The secretary (Loraine?) was very helpful in helping me fill out the forms. The office also appears to have plenty of parking spaces. If you want quick and professional service, you should consider this dental group and ask for Dr. Angie. read more

Searching for a dentist is not fun. It's like they say, you have to kiss a few frogs before you find your prince. The same principle applies to searching for a dentist - well except for the kissing part. Please don't kiss your dentist. I was getting a little tired of dealing with less than stellar dentists. So much so, in fact, that I had gone three years without seeing one. Fearing that I would lose all my teeth and have to be on a liquid diet for the rest of my life, I decided we needed a family dentist. One of our doctors recommended Cupertino Dental Group, so everyone in the family went, except me. They all had great experiences, so I decided it was my turn and after looking over the list of dentists, I picked Dr. Angie Pagonis and hoped for the best. I don't know much about any of the other dentists at Cupertino dental (though I do know their pediatric dentists are excellent), but Dr. Pagonis is top knotch. She's patient (I'm not good with needles, etc.) and kind, and she did a fantastic job with my filling! I know she filled my cavity - I mean, I was there when it happened, but she did such a great job that afterward I had a hard time figuring out which tooth she worked on! No weird pieces of filling material stuck to the sides of my teeth (this has happened to me before), no pain, very little soreness at all! I have had fillings done before without being numbed (did I mention I don't like needles?), but this time I decided to go ahead and try it. Dr. Angie let me try having just one injection instead of the standard two, and I just happen to be one of those people who doesn't need two! I didn't feel a thing. I practically could have fallen asleep while my fillings were being done - in fact, I was cold when I first got there and they even got me a blanket! I just can't say enough nice things about Dr. Pagonis. I'm actually looking forward to my next dentist appointment - and it's not just because my husband watches the kids and I get to sit down for more than 5 minutes. It's also because I know that my teeth will look and feel better after I leave the dentist, and I won't have to endure medieval style torture first. If you're putting off going to the dentist because your last one was less than great, look no further than Dr. Angie Pagonis. She's awesome! read more

Dr Angie, What can I say? She was amazing. I was so impressed by her professionalism and knowledge although she is young. She did a veneer for me and I walked out with a temporary that I would have been happy cementing on there. It looked great and felt great! I'll almost be sad when I get the real thing! I almost forgot to add that I have had a lot of dental work done, I mean A LOT. and Dr Angie gave me the most PAINLESS injection I have ever had. I wasn't sure she even did it, until my lip started to tingle... read more

I moved away from the area and had to go to a different dentist in Orange County... so glad to be back with Dr. Pagonis. She is easy to converse with and makes me feel at ease. You won't be disappointed in the quality and attention you receive from Dr. Pagonis and her team at Cupertino Dental. Let's face it, the dentist isn't always my favorite place to visit but I can assure you that the team she has working with her is the best in the area. If you've been putting off an exam or major dental work I highly recommend Dr. Angie Pagonis. read more

I saw Dr. Angie last year. My regular dentist is Dr. Milton. After the cleaning she looked at my teeth and started to yell and scream at me. I have never seen anyone treat their patients like that. I am not going to see her again. What a terrible customer service! read more

We moved to the area one year ago and our landlady recommended Dr. Milton Pagonis and his daughter Angie Pagonis to us. We have been seeing both of them regularly and have been more than satisfied with both of them! All our family goes to the practice by now, we have always experienced the dentists as well as the staff as being very knowledgeable, helpful and careful (but NOT painful!!) when treating any dental problem whatsoever. Plus, and we really appreciate this, we have never felt pushed to have something done /(i.e. to spend money) we were not sure we wanted to be done. So yes, we truly recommend the place! read more
