I debated writing a review, but I want to warn others about my experience with this office. If I could give this establishment 0 stars, I would. Dr. Galeb is one of the most rude and unprofessional dentists I have ever encountered. I came in as a new patient for a cleaning, exam, and X-rays. When I sat down for my appointment, I was not given a lead apron during X-rays or any protective eyewear during my cleaning. Not providing protective eyewear is against CDC infection control guidelines. My cleaning lasted under one minute, and I was told I needed a filling. I was then rushed out and told I would receive a call to schedule. I was confused because I was never seen by the doctor, even though a dentist must examine and diagnose before treatment. Later, I found out I was billed for an exam, despite never seeing Dr. Galeb. I called the office for clarification and was repeatedly bounced between staff members, with no one able or willing to explain why I was billed or why I was not seen by the doctor. When I was finally put on the phone with Dr. Galeb, she laughed during the conversation and told me she didn't know what I wanted from her, which was extremely dismissive and unprofessional. I also asked for what tooth number/ surfaces my filling was, and they were unable or unwilling to provide that information. I strongly encourage anyone considering this office to go elsewhere. This experience raised serious concerns about patient care, professionalism, and billing practices, including being billed for procedures that were not performed. read more

Said I had to get xrays of my teeth or no cleaning services would be offered, so I agreed to unnecessary imaging. They then cleaned my teeth for five minutes. I pointed out it was an unusually short cleaning. They said you get what you pay for. I was on Medicaid at the time. Poor quality care. read more

Dentist Jasna Galeb has the worst bedside manner out of any human I've ever met. Every trip to the dentist is a trauma with her, but as a medical patient, I was desperate. Well today I finally walked out. I was brave enough to finally tell her to that her bedside manner is humiliating and to please calm down. This earned me a lecture about how Kaiser is so busy so I should be grateful there aren't more people around to hear her embarrass me about my finances- she would've kept talking if I hadn't walked out, she was just concerned she didn't want me to steal the bib accountability, accountability, accountability. I had a grandma who's never been wrong, but a DENTIST who relishes confrontation?! So the red flags began right away- EVERY visit whichever hygienist is working with her, will have to physically touch her arm to STOP and get her to listen to me, because her toxic trait is having someone beg her to be gentle with the needle, her (annoyed) saying YES YES then ignoring you I've had to have whoever was standing by her by my advocate each time, one time an employee literally had to walk over and say "she begged you to wait a minute!" to which Dr jasna galeb just gets annoyed. She'll never change, I see that now, so even in desperate need of a root canal, I walked. Run, don't walk, if she ever approaches you. It's one thing to have the award for worst bedside manner out of any human I've ever encountered (I work in nonprofit and have traveled/worked long-term in 4 different countries where I needed doctors, 2 of the "third world" and anyone is nicer than this. Beware! Run. The chairs in the reception area were broken. The Dr. tried to nickle and dime by recommending unnecessary procedures that her office does not have new equipment (lasers) to perform ( She recommended gum recession surgery without anesthesia and using a scalpel and sutures, YIKES!). I went to Dr. Jasna because my regular Dr. Sam Infantino had no openings for a cleaning. Dr. Jasna recommended that I have a deep cleaning. However, the deep cleaning was a 21 minute procedure which is supposed spread out over 2 visits in 2 hours. After my disappointing and very concerning appointment, I scheduled an emergency appointment with Sam Infantino. He confirmed that I did not receive a proper deep cleaning or an adequate general cleaning at all. In addition, the gum surgery she suggested I undergo, was contraindicated by my oral surgeon. This dentist is great! Extremely friendly staff, never busy, never a long wait and she knows her shit. I've been to 3 other dentists close by here and she tops them all. At first I thought it might be ghetto cuz it's right next to a Popeyes, but the inside of the office is really nice and she's got all the newest technology in there. I went in today and got 4 cavities filled (I'm a dirty motherfucker I guess) and she did it all in 1 hr 15 min perfectly. Teeth lined up the exact same way as they did before. She even has a mini camera on a wand so she can show you your teeth magnified on a widescreen monitor. Got to see them nasties for myself. Pretty coooool. Unlike Smile Care dental on Stevens Creek blvd (ugh..the worst) she doesn't sit there and try to jack you. Instead of just going ahead and doing my crown or trying to sell me a tooth whitening package, she sent in the report for things I actually needed to my insurance to make sure they'd cover it before she did anything so I wouldn't be stuck with a $1000 bill. Again. Pretty cooooool. She seems to actually give a shit about you and suggested white fillings because of the high content of mercury in silver ones. Damn she's good. It's funny no other dentist I've seen even knew about that, seeing as they were so busy trying to make money off me. I'm glad I finally found a competent dentist who's ultra friendly to top it off. So my company recently switched our insurance coverages over to another company... BOOOOO to the recession!!! This left me in a dreaded HMO plan (Delta Dental) needing to find a new dentist. I selected Jasna Galeb as my provider because she was close to my house and had one 5 star review and I am soooo glad I did. I went in for an initial checkup and basically needed "the works"... I had procrastinated for a few years on dental care. The office staff and Dr. Galeb and her assistant are VERY nice and straightforward. They show you what you need done and tell you clearly what your insurance will pay and what it wont. Anything insurance didnt cover was clearly outlined as optional but suggested which I liked, cause a lot of dentists tend to make certain procedures sound mandatory. Dr. Galeb has great follow through and I can actually say I enjoy going to the dentist. I too thought to myself this might be ghetto since it was literally next door to a Popeyes chicken but instead I was surprised at the Dr's attention to detail and suggestions for bettering my smile. I even went back and did whitening services as well. I really like it here and have learned the plus side to being next to a Popeyes chicken, yummm teeth cleaning and then chicken strips after... ;-) read more

First visit to Dr Galeb's office today, after my previous dentist went out of business because of COVID. My insurance coverage has been $20 for a cleaning, no charge for the visit or for x-rays and this was what my previous dentist charged. Dr Galeb's office wanted $100 and threw in a whole bunch of random diagnostic codes to add up additional co-pays to justify the charge. That might not even have included the $20 extra charge for PPE that they told me about on the phone - I didn't stay long enough to find out. Dr Galeb is FANTASTIC. She is friendly and her assistants are great - smiling always and courteous . That's not the main message... Her work is just excellent. She explains every step and she is careful with her work, detailed, and does not charge a ton for the work. Do NOT be mislead by the low cost - she is not cheap but rather right value for the service and cost - a great deal!! I've been going to Dr. Galeb for four years and I've been very happy with her care. My friend Jason recommended her and she is a great dentist! She is also very warm, friendly, funny, and personable. I really like her and I always look forward too seeing her for a check up. Dr. Galeb performs her own cleaning as opposed to using a hygienist, which I like. Dr. Jasna has been my dentist for many years. I also take both of my children to her and we are all very happy with the service. My children never refuse to go and they don't understand why other kids are afraid of their dentist visit :-) Everybody is very friendly in the office and we are able to schedule a family appointment even on Saturdays. Dr. Jasna has very gentle hands and I have never felt any pain or discomfort during or after my visit. I've moved from San Jose but I still go there for my visits. Dr. Galeb is amazing! I had an emergency and she squeezed me in early in the morning with no hesitation. She pulled my tooth out completely PAIN FREE and was so patient and caring the whole time. I've been going to her since I was a kid and my whole family sees her too. Not only is she caring, she also knows what she's doing. She is very gentle with your teeth, advices you what is best for you, and also informs you step by step regarding your insurance coverage and how it works for you. I was disappointed in my experience at Dr. Jasna's dental office. I was hopeful because of the several positive reviews I saw here. There were several issues which raised red flags for me, but my biggest complaint was that her cleaning was painful! My mouth was sore for several hours after she left. The worst person ever. All she cares about is money. I did invisalign and I was promises one thing, I signed the paper and pay the money and I got absolutely nothing. I ended up being in a much worse situation than when I came in. She is nasty and she will dismiss anything you say. She will not even listen to what you say and your concerns. At the end I express my dissatisfaction and pointed it out that I did not get what was promised to me she said " Well you read and sign the agreement" I did sign a paper because, I was promised something and I got nothing. She does not know how to do invisalign and that was the reason I got a poor results. I had only one space in between my front teeth and I ended up with 2 more she gave to me and, did not patch it up with composite to make my money worth. Another thing id you are on medical or your parents do not take them there because she will treat them as bad as she treats my boyfriends parents with not respect at all. read more

This dentist is ridiculous. I made my first appointment to get my regular cleaning which I didn't do for a long time. The receptionist booked me and I asked her that this is for my cleaning and she said yes. When I saw the dentist she said that since I didn't had a cleaning in a long time, she had to do a deep cleaning which will cost $$$ out of pocket. I told her that I am just interested in the regular cleaning covered by my insurance. But she said "I refuse to do regular cleaning" I was in no mood of arguing so I said fine and left. The very first thing I did after coming home is SWICHED DENTIST. In what world does a dentist refuse to do a cleaning? I even told her that my last dentist did a deep cleaning couple of years ago and it's not required and asked her to check my old record. She said that they don't reply/care about my previous history and have to start new with them and I was like WTF. Anyways my recommendation will be to stay away from this dentist.
