A CHOCOLATE LOVERS DREAM!!…read more I stopped by AJ Chocolate House after dinner as I had a mean sweet tooth that needed satisfying and boy did they deliver. They are located in the Park Ave area by Rollins and thankfully have their own parking lot. Lots of seating inside as well! Their menu options were fast from anything coffee, gelato, fruit, to sandwiches! I went with the Belgian waffle, sipping hot chocolate, and Norwegian hot chocolate. Our order was made right away and brought to our table along with some water. These menu items were so rich and decadent that my friend and I should have probably shared the drinks! They are the thick European hot chocolates that you see online. Definitely drinkable but you should probably use a spoon. The mix of the dark chocolate in our drinks thankfully helped with the sweetness as we didn't find it super sweet but ymmv!

Cake was good, got a coffee to go with it. Friend got a hot chocolate and said was too much, like a cup of melted chocolate. If that's your thing you'd love it but was too sweet for his taste. Vibes were weird, service was not friendly, felt like we were intruding.

Lots of real candles, burlesque pictures, and flowers made the mood cozy and sexy. The staff were wonderful. To drink, I got the lickin love with Cabernet (milk chocolate on the rim with a white chocolate drizzle). It was so fun and delicious. For my dessert, I ordered the fever, which consisted of a chocolate molten cake, two scoops of vanilla ice cream, and a chocolate decoration. It was so delicious and decadent. My girlfriends loved the carrot cake and the fourgasm (4 dessert sampler). Everything was a bit expensive, but you're paying for the expensive. My one minor complaint was that we had not been there an excessive amount of time, but as we were checking out, we were informed we needed to leave because they needed our table in 5 minutes. I did not care for that. Overall, this was a really fun experience and I'm sad we had to say goodbye.

I ended up trying the pumpkin spice s'more at The Ganachery and had such a great visit!…read more Customer Service: The customer service was awesome and super friendly. Dessert: Pumpkin Spice S'more. The flavor was incredible. Instead of graham crackers, I think they use a soft-baked cookie where the pumpkin spice flavor actually comes from. The marshmallows had the perfect amount of gooeyness. To build it, they melted the marshmallow, placed it on the cookie, put a thin square of chocolate on top and melted it with a blowtorch, added the other cookie, and used a stencil with powdered sugar to leave a print of Mickey Mouse with pumpkin ears. Cost: It costs $9 plus tax. Shared with one other person, it was the perfect amount for two! Parking: The garage parking is free with no time limit. Overall Experience: Disney knows how to make themed items, it didn't disappoint! Watching them prepare it right before my eyes at the kitchen window display made it even better. Highly recommend stopping by!

We stood in line for about 10 minutes and when we got to the register, we had great customer service. The s'more took about three minutes to come out. My friend and I were, unfortunately, disappointed. Instead of the graham cracker being crunchy, it's soft and kind of soggy. The graham cracker has a strong cinnamon flavor that took away from the flavor of the marshmallow and chocolate. We were very disappointed and we won't be going back. If it wasn't for the excellent service, this review would be rated lower.

Either way, visiting this location really is the hack that you think it is. Since it is in the East End Market, you can simply waltz in with little to no line and order your delicious Gideon's treats. It is important to note that unfortunately they don't offer the cold brew here, however, as they don't have the facilities to make it like they do at Disney Springs. But, the cookies are just as delicious and they do always sell their limited edition cookies here in addition to their classics. It is also worth shopping around the market as well since there are many indulgences here ranging from sushi to cocktails to fun trinkets. It is best to visit at an off time though as parking can be a challenge.

I didn't realize that before ordering, so that definitely explains part of why this wasn't for me. Red velvet is usually my birthday cake, so I've tried it from quite a few places over the years. I personally prefer a softer, fluffy cake with a noticeable cocoa flavor and a tangy cream cheese frosting. Gideon's version was very different from that. The color was much more intensely red than I personally like, and I felt like I could taste the coloring. The texture of my slice also felt more wet/dense than moist and fluffy. There was plenty of frosting, but the cream cheese flavor was much more subtle than I prefer. I know this cake has a lot of fans, so I think this really comes down to style and personal preference.
