Does this bakery have dairy free options or something?

At this time we do not offer dairy free options. We are working on our gluten green and vegan menus and hope to offer these options in the near future.

I've seen them all over social media and definitely wanted to give them a try. If I wasn't so full from blaze, I would've got some of their cream puffs they looked absolutely amazing. I did decided to get a cookies and cream latte, which I feel like their pricing isn't bad, especially for the quality. My drink was good, the coffee was smooth and the cold foam on top with the cookies really was a nice touch. I'll definitely be back to try one of their cream puffs and or other cute pastries.

Bright, clean, and dialed in with pastries that actually look as good as they photograph. You walk in thinking you'll make a quick, responsible choice. Two minutes later you're staring at the case like you're drafting a fantasy team. We went with the cream puff and that was the right move. Light, airy, not overly sweet, and gone in about three bites flat. No notes. Tried the crème brûlée pastry too. Points for creativity all day. It's a cool concept and well executed, just didn't hit the same level as the cream puff. Still good, just not the headliner. And the iced tea deserves a mention. Strong. Like, actually strong. Not the watered-down afterthought you get at most spots. This one shows up with purpose. Overall, easy four stars. Fun stop, great vibe, and a menu that keeps things interesting without trying too hard. Just don't kid yourself into thinking you're only ordering one thing. That plan falls apart immediately.

My very small oat milk latte. one size does not fit all, especially for this Coffee Queen! 12 oz would have been more acceptable

However, they always have fun creations popping up in their case. Some fan favorites are the Mango Sticky Rice Tart and literally any of their pop tarts. The staff is kind and efficient. There's usually a line out the door. However, we never wait longer than 15 minutes to get the goods. The space is definitely small on the customer end inside. However, they have plenty of outdoor seating that's perfect for hanging out with friends on a Sunday morning. Literally one of my favorite spots. Thank you Buttermilk for being THAT girl.

I have been a Buttermilk Bakery fan for well over a decade. Until this last weekend…read more I got online at 8:15 in the morning to place my order. Each item that I selected came up with a message that read, "Our store is not currently accepting orders." I tried again a few minutes later. Then again. And again. And again. I tried to call and received a voicemail that stated a different number. At 8:50am, the option to order seemed to be back up and running. I ordered five items, including the Roasted Tomatoes & Goat Cheese Quiche. For context: I live 45 minutes away from Buttermilk Bakery. It used to be on my way to work but, as of a few years ago, that is not the case anymore. So, it is now a special occasion destination. Reserved only for weekends when I can make the trip. More context: I have been raving to one of my closet friends for years about how much I love this place. My most emphatic musings have been about the quiche. Today, since she and I were planning an afternoon poolside, I thought that I would surprise her with an assortment of Viennoiserie and other items. At 10:36am, I received a call from Buttermilk. The woman on the phone informed me that they had run out of the quiche. How?!? Once the website was working, I was able to place my order quickly and the item didn't even read, "Low stock." I know that this is a small problem in a world full of large problems, but the thing that really set me off is that when I arrived at the store, the person in line in front of me asked for the Strawberry Buttermilk Pie. He was told that they were out of stock. He was pleasant in stating that there appeared to be slices in the refrigerator case. The girl behind the register told him that they were being held for online orders. When it was my turn, I stated that no one had held my slice of quiche. She blandly said, "I am sorry," and proceeded. I then stated that I was unhappy and had driven some distance. She asked if I would like something else. I responded that the person on the phone had simply told me that I would receive a refund. I then asked for the girl to check on my refund. She said it was not processed yet. So, I said that I would wait. She needed to ask for help to process the refund. She wasn't nasty to me, but she did not care one iota. My effort and subsequent inconvenience meant nothing. I wonder if my refund would even have been processed had I not asked. My friend and I thought the pastries that we received were fine, but she is fitness-minded and was hesitant to indulge in so many carbs without the rich protein that the quiche would have provided. And, yet, more context: This happened once before. With the quiche. Maybe a year ago. Though, that time, I believe it was a butternut squash quiche. My husband needed to be in the area, so he suggested that he pick-up at Buttermilk. When he arrived, he was told that there would be no quiche. No call. No nothing. He didn't think to ask for a refund and we never received one. That time, I simply thought, "Well, accidents happen." This time, I think that I received very shoddy service. I felt very disrespected. I felt unseen. I have loved this place, but I am so disappointed.

Elegant, glossy, and almost too pretty to eat. Almost. Taste & Texture: 4/5 -- This cake is RICH rich. Deep, dark chocolate, decadent layers, and the kind of cake where you take a bite and need a moment of silence afterward. The cake itself? BLISS. Moist, luxurious, chocolatey perfection. My only little "ehhh" was the texture of the glaçage drip. Personally, it wasn't my favorite mouthfeel--but listen, that did NOT stop my fork from continuing its ministry. If you like your chocolate cake dark, decadent, rich, and a little sexy... baby, this is the move. Basically, this isn't "lemme grab a little piece of cake." This is "close the blinds, cancel my plans, and leave me alone with this chocolate decadence." Chocolate Duet Cake: 4/5 Would absolutely commit chocolate sins again.

It was a place where I knew I could get something quick to eat and had a variety of drink options. I ended up grabbing the curry croquette and the spinach feta danish for food and an iced tiramisu matcha latte for my beverage of choice. The croquette was good but I did wish that it had a bit more filling. As for the danish that was a solid pick, no complaints here. I was a bit disappointed by the tiramisu matcha latte though, because the tiramisu flavor just didn't come through and it mostly tasted like milk with a hint of matcha. I wouldn't pick this place as my first option to go but it works in a pinch. The service is fast and there's plenty of table seating so if you need to get work done or pop a squat they have the space for it.

There's pastries galore to pick from, sweet and savory. We tried some of everything. I had to ask if it could be warmed and it is available. The cheese bun, croquette, and ham and cheese sandwich were really good. The spinach croissant was ok. The honey cheese pancakes had a weird texture and were a no for me. I also grabbed a stuffed cookie for later and it was hard, and didn't taste fresh. The matcha's were good. I was hoping for more flavor out of the lavender honey, but it was ok. There's ample sitting and wasn't very crowded. The employees took to sitting on the counter for a break.

Devouring a Melt Brownie is an excellent way to satisfy your sweet tooth!…read more I couldn't help but notice this store while navigating traffic in the area. We were on our way to dinner and as soon as I seen Melt Brownie I knew what we would be having for dessert. Just as planned, we stopped in after dinner and fortunately for us, I had a buy two get two free brownies in the rewards section of my Melt Brownie app. If you don't already have the app I recommend downloading it before arriving because they give you a free brownie just for downloading the app. You also get a free brownie every year on your birthday, can't beat that! The young lady working the counter was very friendly and informed us of their current specials. We went with the Chocolate S'mores, the Brookie, Peanut Butter Brunch, and The Strawberry Cheesecake. With the coupon our order came to a little over $8, not bad. The strawberry cheesecake and peanut butter crunch were our favorites. The store was organized; however, the two tables and chairs along the window (only ones to sit at) we're not clean and had sticky residue and crumbs from previous guests. Not the end of the world but we wanted to enjoy some of our dessert here and take the rest home for later. All and all, I like supporting small businesses like Melt Brownie. They provide an awesome option for dessert and it's much cheaper than what you will pay at a typical restaurant. I recommend them and would come back again if in the area.
