Cupcakes were slightly dry but overall good. Not overly sweet which is always a plus. They also have cheesecakes, brownies and cookies.

Since…read morethose times I have explored the area quite a bit and coming back, I must say this place easily falls into the top three pizza places for me. When you get to the top three there is no longer even a "best" discussion anymore; it really comes down to the style you are in the mood for. Service, for a pizza place, is beyond amazing. The place itself also has a "market" but it doesn't distract from making you feel like you are still in a quiet restaurant - as much as a pizza place will ever be. True, I had the BITE30 menu on this most recent visit. The Italian Meatballs - 100% Beef hand rolled meatballs served in our from-scratch marinara and topped with house croutons and grated cheese to start were amazing. The Stella - black truffle ricotta, mozzarella. Served with tomato, arugula, and a ariston balsamic dressing, topped with a burrata ball, well, what can I say. Generally, I'm not a fan of these star pizza creations but they do it right enough here where I would have this one again. Then for dessert, which I usually never have, was the Chocolate Mousse - Rich and airy chocolate topped with whipped cream and chocolate chips. Yeah, for my own good, I need to stay anyway from that one!

I'd heard this won best Altamonte Springs restaurant 2025, so we tried them out this past Saturday night. Since they're known for both pizza and pasta and we wanted to try both, we ordered the Basil Pesto pizza ($20) and the Rigatoni Alla Bolognese ($20). The Rigatoni came in a reasonable, not overly large but still filling serving that was flavorful and delicious, with a proportion of meat that was higher than the proportion of pasta, which was great. The Basil Pesto pizza was the unexpected highlight. Though it came later than the pasta, it did for good reason--it came straight from the oven, with warm, deliciously fluffy crust and *real* chunks of melted *fresh* mozzarella. The olive oil made the pizza feel light and not heavy at all, and the leftover oil served as great dip for our bread. For the money, I would've liked some light complimentary table bread while waiting for our entrees, as it took a while to deliver the food to our table, which I could tell was because this place is very popular with DoorDash and UberEats based on the steady stream of drivers in and out of the door, crowded around the pick-up area, and likely delaying our food somewhat, but this didn't detract from the cozy vibes at all, and the quality of the food more than made up for the slight delay. They're closed Sundays and Mondays and close at 9pm on the other days, so keep that in mind. There's limited seating, maybe 4-5 booths on either side and a row of tables down the middle, so keep that in mind when planning a spur of the moment visit like we did. We were asked if we had a reservation, which we didn't, but lucked out that a table had just opened up when we arrived. The menus are digital (iPads), which can be a pro or a con depending on your perspective on how long you looked at Bad Screen all day at work, but I will say the UI was very well laid out and easy to find the menu items, which is a plus. Our server was polite and attentive, making sure to ask me if I was ready for the check on my way back from the bathroom. The bathroom is an experience; you have to walk *through* the kitchen to get there (please make sure to shout "Corner!" as you pass), which adds to the vibes, and there are two, which is plenty for this size of restaurant. Saw a flyer on the bathroom wall that they've recently opened a food stall inside the Great Southern Box Company on North OBT (serving pizza only at that location), which adds to that location's great selections. Overall, this is a cozy, tucked-away Altamonte Springs gem with delicious, high-quality dishes that works well for an intimate date night and one that I'd definitely visit again.
