    Empanadas
    Linnea E.

Genuinely the best empanadas I've had in Central Florida - I live a good 45 mins away from Clermont and I'd make that drive just for these empanadas without even questioning it. These beauties come in a wide variety of flavors and are perfectly fried - they just melt in your mouth and taste so so good. The shop itself is a small booth inside one of the food halls in downtown Clermont so there's lots to explore - definitely do yourself a favor and pick some empanadas while you're there!

Absolutely delicious empanadas with flavors for everyone. Located inside a market with a bunch of different food vendors. We went with the 3 pack and you are able to mix and match fillings. There are a couple sauce options, we went for a sweet and spicy guava sauce and it was the perfect combo with all 3 different empanadas we got. They are marked with numbers on the top so you know which are which. Would highly recommend!

Pico Bistro is a perfect place for a bite, snack, food on the run. They have a great variety of empanadas, as well as croquettes(coxinha - Brazillian chicken bites, cheese balls, and cod fish bites. Seriously, there is a lot of goodness here. I ordered the coxinha bites to share. And just think of chicken, potato and cheese all wrapped into one. It's Yummy!!! Pick your sauce too. I picked the sweet chili sauce. It's a nice snack so you can taste all throughout the brand new foodie Clermont market - Montrose Street Market! Enjoy!!!

Empanadas we're delicious. Took one star off because I ordered family box of 18. I told them what I wanted I picked them up probably a half hour before they closed... The lady at the front desk instead of letting me know they decided to just add whatever flavors I think because I picked up before closing... she probably figured he they won't care ... we'll I looked at the numbers and noticed and ran back in and told her I was unhappy and that this is not how business should be run you don't just add whatever you want. You inform the customer you are out of flavors and let them pick... she ended up making me some different ones and the owner texted and apologized to me. Again I would go again just always make sure to check your order.

Pico Bistro opened in the Montrose Street Market and are located down stairs. The staff is very nice and they handled the Sunday crowd well. My daughter and I ordered three empanadas for $10.00. This is a special that they are currently running. We picked a pulled pork and pineapple, beef and cheddar and a Brie with apricot. Each empanada had an edible number identifying what it was. We wait about fifteen minutes while they were being made to order and deep fried. All three were delicious. The insides and the crust was amazing. The Brie and apricot empanada was loaded with Brie and the beef and cheddar had the perfect ratio of meat and cheese. The meat was seasoned nicely. We both also loved the pork with pineapple. The pineapple added a good flavor to the pork. I can not wait to return and try more flavors.

So let me tell you about that place,? I looking for some Brazilian food around Clermont, and I found this place, is just amazing pastel and churros. The door is small so if you follow the gps you need park your car and just get inside to the building, have all kinds food the, and you can have a lot fun with your family and friends that inside. I am a new a new resident here, and for now one me and my family will be always there. I simple love it

    Empanadas for me!

This little beauty is located in the new Montrose Market lower level next to Suds Saloon and the Jour de Crepe Creperie, plus a bunch more choices on the street level. Simple, nothing fancy and well priced. We enjoyed the empanadas. The extra fries were a pretty small serving. We'll be returning again soon.

Pico Bistro is tucked away, down the stairs and in the very back corner of Montrose Street Market in downtown Clermont. BUT DON'T MISS THEM! It's the perfect spot to sneak away and enjoy some o the best empanadas you will find locally. I know a statement like that might start a fight, but hear me out. Empanadas are all about the dough and the filling, right? Pico Bistro fries up some of the lightest, crispiest and most unique empanadas I have ever tried (and I try them anywhere I can.) The dough is not dense, it's airy. The portions are generous. But where else have you tried a 'duck and brie' stuffed empanada? Or a 'shitake and heart of palm' stuffed empanada? Exactly - they have successfully elevated this well-known street food and they are craveable! I like their combo pricing (3 - $10 or specialty 3 - $12) because the portions are a very good size and this allows for variety! There is so much on this menu that you have to come back for more! FOOD // I tried their specialty combo with 'duck and brie', 'shitake with heart of palm' (vegetarian option), and my kiddo's favorite 'bacon mac and cheese'. The empanadas were made to order and came with your choice of a guava or spicy dipping sauce. GET THEM BOTH. The sauces are well balanced and pack a ton of flavor. I split the 3 empanadas with my son and there were no crumbs left to speak of. Just delicious. There is a nice sitting area right next to the station. The owners are Brazilian but were very helpful in helping me decide the right combination to try. We will absolutely be back!

If you're looking for a cheap place to have some bottom barrel steak with even worse customer…read moreservice, look no further. Let's start from the beginning..... Restaurant had absolutely no curb appeal and was very bland from the outside, which was clue #1 but hey we've all been to a restaurant that didn't look the best and had the best food so we continued anyway. As soon as we were seated by the friendly host, the server was right behind immediately ready to take our order without giving us a second to look at the menus. That wasn't a huge gripe of mine until I saw how eager he was to give us the three menu options when there was in fact four. He proceeded to leave out the menu option of the Monday night special of a premium steak and two sides for $19.77. Kindly we said that's what we were here for and all their advertisement and website still cleared had it listed. He proceeded to say that it could possibly be an old special..... After the side bar with management, he stated it was in fact still a current promotion. So after that slight hiccup, the next problem came about. He was very firm that the "filet mignon" was not part of that special after we clearly showed him it was on the ad and website. Once again, going to his manager to confirm. Once that was all settled, my finance and I ordered the filet mignon option. I won't even get into the sides but let's get into the reason why this review is being done.... As linked you'll see the "filet mignon" we were served. My fiancé and I have had filet mignon for years and are always in search of the best so when we were served what we were, we were in true disbelief. The server argued over and over that the piece of meat was a filet when it appeared and tasted like picanha. When asked to speak to the manager, the server wanted to say the manager was enjoying his dinner and would see us after. We found this quite weird, as we saw him about four times talking to our server prior to that comment being told to us. Clearly not wanting anything to do with confronting the situation. At this point, we had no interest in eating anything from this meal. The server was quick to say that the owner was about to come out and show us the two meats from the kitchen to prove they were filets when I told him we had no interest in eating any longer but at that point, the owner showed us his true intentions on how he wants to run his business. Here's my key take away after all of this. If you want a cheap meal with bottom barrel meat, this is your spot. I truly would've respected this establishment and their manager way more, had he just came to the table at the very beginning of the questioning of the meat instead of watching him run away and avoid us. Could the meat possibly have been filet mignon, I truly doubt it but if it was, it's a very bottom of the barrel cut that shouldn't even be advertised as filet mignon. Nothing against the server in all this, minus him actively not telling us the Monday special as if we hadn't looked it up before coming, this whole review is for the management and the owners to this steak place that has decent potential but the false advertisement is what's going to drive people away.

Great Brazilian Grill Experience -- Definitely Coming Back…read moreMy wife and I came here for the full churrasco lunch experience, and it was excellent. I would give the overall experience a 9/10 and five stars. There was a great variety of meats, including different cuts of steak and sausage, and the servers kept bringing fresh food directly to our table. The meat was flavorful, tender, and cooked nicely. The grilled pineapple was also very good and worked perfectly between the different meat selections. The salad bar had plenty of choices, including fresh vegetables, cheese, cold cuts, eggs, and other sides. We also enjoyed the bread, fries, and sauces served at the table. The dining room felt clean, comfortable, and upscale, but it was still relaxed. Service was friendly and attentive throughout the meal. We paid $92 for two people before tax and tip, which was a fair price for an unlimited Brazilian steakhouse lunch of this quality. Overall, this was a great experience. We left very full and satisfied. I will absolutely return and try it again.

They don't have tablecloths any more and only white napkins. When we were here before, they offered guests the choice of white or black napkins to match the color of their clothing. It also seems like the dress code has become more relaxed. When we were here before, most people seemed to dress "business causal", but today a lot of people wore t-shirts and shorts. However, it was also Saturday afternoon and I bet a lot of tourists walked from the shopping plaza and outlet mall. The front lobby/ waiting area now only has 2 chairs on the right and 1 on the left. I could have sworn they used to have a few chairs and a couch. And one of the chairs was really beat up and looked like it needed a lot of repair work. We were seated immediately, though it was 12:20 on a Saturday and they had just opened, so there weren't many people in the place. We told the waiter that we had been here before, so he didn't need to go through the introduction. We ordered some drinks and then another server immediately brought out the sides: cheese bread, fried bananas, garlic mashed potatoes, and french fries. We said we didn't want the potatoes and fries, and it would have been nice if they asked what we preferred before bringing everything out. We then got some food from the salad bar and my wife though the lobster bisque was excellent. After we were done, the waiter took our plates away. But then he never came back with plates for the meats. He also didn't ask which meat we wanted to start with. We flipped our discs to green and the gauchos started coming by. The picanha and filet mignon were very good, but the filet mignon wrapped in bacon was a little tough. We asked about it and the gaucho said it's because they have to cook the meat longer to make sure the bacon is fully cooked. We then got some more food from the salad area. About halfway through, the waiter saw that we had stopped eating and asked if we were done. We said yes, thinking that he was asking if we were done with the fruits from the salad bar. He then brought over a dessert tray and asked if we wanted a dessert liquor. I said we're not done eating the meats. Then we had more meat. Then when we were done, he started to come over with the desserts, but my wife saw him and shook her head, so he didn't come to the table. He then brought over a plate with "Happy Birthday" written in icing with a candle for me to blow out. I don't know if I was supposed to get a free dessert because it was my birthday or if that's not offered here. I assume it's not offered here since the waiter didn't mention it. Though to be fair, we were stuffed and probably couldn't fit it.
