Unfortunately, the experience did not match the food. When we arrived, there were only two other guests being helped at the counter and the dining room was empty. No one greeted us when we walked in. No one offered us a menu. We actually sat down to see if anyone would eventually acknowledge us, but after waiting in silence for 20 min we finally had to get up and ask what they even had available to eat. Because of the vibe and the fact that they close at 7 PM, we felt uncomfortable ordering a full meal and just got some alcapurrias and pastelillos. To make matters worse, the girl with the red hair at the front counter was especially rude and made us feel like an inconvenience. We don't have many options for authentic Puerto Rican cuisine that actually reminds us of home in the area, so I genuinely hope management sees this and addresses the front of house service. Good food only goes so far when the customer service makes you feel unwelcome. A 3 because the food is genuinely good other wise a 1.

The Dominican Mofongo was like a treasure chest that had fried pork rinds and shredded chicken hidden inside and melted cheese on top. The Puerto Rican Mofongo we ordered came with the fried pork chunks which tasted so good with the Mayo ketchup. But my number one today definitely was the cheese flan.
