"Do you have size 5?" Normally she is disappointed. But the friendly clerk answered in the affirmative. Not only did they have size 5, the shoes were cute and comfortable. My sister bought several pairs. An added bonus was the great children's shoes. My four year old Grandson, who is ever growing, was fitted in a cool new pair of summer casual shoes. He was encouraged to try them out in the store to assure a good fit. The little one was happy to comply, in the typical enthusiastic fashion of a child. There were only smiles from the staff. They reveal YEARS of customers reporting homophobic, transphobic, misogynistic remarks by this sales clerk and yet there's been no change. He was rude and inappropriate to me. When I tried on sandals, he remarked "I like the sandals but not your toes " implying I need a pedicure. I responded "that's not very customer friendly" to which he replied "oh well, you need to hear it." Nasty, terrible and made the experience uncomfortable. And I'm disappointed to learn this a longstanding pattern that many customers have raised. This business doesn't care.

Nowhere on the receipt or gift card does it state this term and condition! When I spoke to the "manager" of the day, she agreed that it wasn't stated in writing, but "that's the way it's set up". Really? How misleadingly convenient. That important detail was left out. What a crock! What a disappointment! Bait-and-switch is BAD BUSINESS. You're obligated to let your customers know these details of your promos and the way they are "set up" beforehand. I'm filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau next.
