I went and waited more than an hour and a half to be seen. Then I ordered, spent $130 for two pairs of socks and never received the pair they supposedly sent me. (Conveniently they did not bother calling me back nor did they give me a tracking number.) Don't bother with this place. Buy the socks online directly from a source, even Amazon, they have them less expensive and if you don't get them they give you a refund. I never received mine from this place and they never got back to me to issue a refund. Just skip the middle man and buy direct. Don't make the same mistake I did. They supposedly 'measure' your calf but the reality is the socks come small-medium-large. You don't need this place to help you figure out your size. You think because your MD gives you a script like piece of paper you are going to receive something special, but like I said. Just skip the middle man and purchase direct. 9/21 My doctor referred me here for compression stockings. I was pleased to learn they are open on Sundays. That was really convenient. I warmly was greeted at the door by the owner. Then I was measured by a kind and patient woman who explained the different types of stockings I can wear. She patiently tried a few different pairs on me till we found the perfect fit. Since my size was not in stock she ordered them to be shipped to me directly from the company. When I was concerned about receiving them before an upcoming airline flight she made sure to have them sent with express shipping to be sure I'd wear them on my upcoming flight. I'm very grateful for the wonderful service and extra consideration given to me by the surgical sock shop. Update 12/21: When it came time to re-order, Surgical Sock Shop was kind enough to send me an email reminder. They were wonderful about shipping to me in an efficient and timely manner. read more

This store has, by far, the worst customer service (Sarah Obong and Lily Rivera) I have ever experienced. I have a sprained wrist and ordered a brace online. I paid for expedited shipping because I needed it fast. It arrived but it was the wrong item. I called and then had to spend an ENTIRE DAY on and off the phone with these people because they first refused to acknowledge they sent the wrong item, then they tried to tell me I had to pay 50% more for the replacement item because it was listed incorrectly on their website. Then they said I'd have to send the wrong item back, and once they received it, they'd send the correct item. Which would take weeks. Literally any other company would immediately acknowledge their mistake, and send the correct item via priority mail. That's just normal business practice. Would they maybe lose a bit of money on that? Yes, but they made a mistake and in business, mistakes are costly and not put onto the customer who's fault it was not. I had to fight tooth and nail just to get them to even accept that they even have to do ANYTHING about the fact that they sent me the completely wrong item. I am INJURED and paid for a medical device and am just waiting and waiting and they wouldn't (and still won't) send it to me. I spent hours on the phone with these people and they kept having to call me back with a new "offer". I finally lost my will to fight and told them to just send the correct item to me with normal shipping, because they refused to expedite it and I just wanted my brace and I was so tired of dealing with them. They agreed they would send it right away via standard shipping and I could return the incorrect item once I receive the new one. Well 6 days later, I still don't have my brace so I reach out. They tell me they've been waiting to receive the incorrect item back so they haven't even shipped my item!!! I cannot believe the incompetence of this company and flat out disregard of their customers. Do not shop here!!! You will certainly regret it. Update: it's been a month since I first ordered the brace and they are just now emailing me to tell me that if I take down my negative review of them, they will then send me the correct item that I originally ordered. lol wow. My wrist is now healed so I don't even need the brace any more. I ended up paying hundreds of dollars to go to the doctor and get a brace from them. I wonder how many of their positive reviews have been bought. read more
