I not only paid round trip for car service' I was indeed inconvenienced by the lack of professionalism Also.. as soon.. as I entered I noticed it was dark dreary.. with a dingy atmosphere! Really disappointed in this place because I wanted to support it. I caught a foot condition from…read morebeing barefoot in a martial arts class and it was very clear what the condition was once I did some research (there was a guy in class with terrible-smelling feet that overwhelmed the entire room.) I asked for a test and oral medicine to ensure the condition didn't spread and was eradicated completely. The doctor denied both the test and the medicine and suggested the OTCs I was already using because she "didn't see anything". Meanwhile my feet were getting burning sensations that only started AFTER the class where I was barefoot. I never had that before in my life. The condition went away then came back and I AGAIN contacted this office asking for oral medication or, at least, a test so that I couldn't be denied the oral medication I wanted. Again, both were denied and the doctor prescribed a topical medication that didn't work. So, suffice it to say, I won't be returning to this office. I've spent more money and been exposed to way more medication-toxins than I would have been if the office had just honored my original request.

All of this to say I'm sadly disappointed in the pedi itself. The office and their associates are wonderful. Friendly and attentive, I had my questions answered and never felt like I was a hassle or a burden. Needless to say, the appointment was more educational than it was an actual MediPedi. Dr. Sha is very friendly and made me smile at first meet with a funny greeting. I was a little cranky since I hadn't eaten but he quickly lifted my spirits. The appointment: We sat and spoke for about 30 mins. I'm so informed and found things out about my feet that I'd never known. It's clear that Dr. Sha loves what he does. One thing I've noticed about the health industry is that they're quick to shove surgery and pills into you. This office doesn't stand on that. The goal is to avoid surgery and to avoid unnecessary means by actually figuring out the cause of the problem and fixing it as best as possible through all alternative avenues. I admire that. But on to the actual service. I'm not sure if it's the fact that it was paid for through Groupon or if this is just the standard here but not too much was done to make me feel a complete difference in my feet. The pedi part took all of about 10-15 mins. For $59, I'm not sure that I'm comfortable with what I got and I'm left wondering if the visit was worth it at all and whether a pedicure at a nail salon with some informational reading would've sufficed. My feet are just as ashy as they were when I walked in although they filed and scraped my problem areas down pretty nicely. So I bought it in hopes of having $800 worth of laser work done at steep discount. Seems too good to pass up right? When I arrived at their location I was told that the treatment I was going to receive really only cost $75-$150 (depending on which person I was talking to, seems like they just make prices up on the spot). So, instead of a 94% discount, I was really only receiving a 33% discount. Had I known this, I wouldn't have bothered to purchase this because it's really not that great of a deal. The staff were pleasant enough during my visit although the equipment used was extremely old looking and couldn't possibly have been the latest available (as I would've thought for a procedure ordinarily costing $800). When I called back the next day to confront them about this huge difference in what is advertised and what is delivered, the staff member was extremely rude, defensive, and hung up on me before we even finished the conversation. All I can say is, do not go to this shady business. Their only aim is to offer shoddy service while misleading their customers into thinking they're getting a great deal when the reality is much, much different.

Therefore, we called the place up and did a walk-in today. Registering as a new patient was a breeze, just one simple form and a signature did the trick. No one else were in line so we were seen right away. Doctor was friendly and were on point in all of our concerns and main worries.
