Dr. Amar herself is great; I have no complaints about her. But the medical staff and the "answering service" she uses are about as useful as a screen door on a submarine. Every. Single. Time I have left a message with the answering service, the response has been deafening silence. I've left perhaps half a dozen messages with said service over the past year; not a single one has been returned. Zero. Nothing says "You're speaking to a well-educated person" like being greeted with "May I ax who's calling?" Telling them "I never get a call back when I leave a message. Can you please just transfer me to her office?" is met with a pathetic "Duhhhh, durrrr, just keep trying then, I guess. Or I can take a message," even though I just told the glassy-eyed twit on the other end why I don't want to waste my time with them. Dr. Amar herself is great, but getting through to her via telephone is about as much fun as self-dentistry with a pair of pliers.

The waiting room is a bit cramped & the whole building is a bit outdated. There's only 1 elevator for the whole building, so if you're able take the stairs. The office is on the second floor. I never experienced a long wait time, even when I show up late to my appointment. I hate calling because the women who answer the phone can be kind of rude. I would suggest taking a cab or having someone else drive because parking over here is pretty much nonexistent.
