Again, the communication from this office is very poor. I got a reschedule message hours before my appointment, after already using PTO. As a patient, I am charged a fee for a late cancelation, yet this office waits until the last minute to reschedule. There is no consideration or respect for the patient's time. Communication is almost non-existent. Customer service is not a high priority. I am very disappointed with the way this practice has gone downhill. Next time you ask someone to call the office to discuss an issue, make the effort to call them back when they do call.

I had a few different things I needed done including fillings, crowns and partials. His secretary, Carol, worked with me to maximize my insurance benefits over 2 years so for everything I had to pay hardly anything out of pocket. When everything was done Dr. Ryan and his staff sent me flowers. He truly appreciates his patients and wants to work with you for the best options in your budget. He has a patient for life!!

My dentist even transferred my records. I guess there's good money in orthodontia, because their office is amazing! I got the grand tour, which was pretty impressive, but what I most appreciated was that they have separate treatment areas for kids and adults. So no hanging out with the teenagers for me! After looking at the affected spot and examining my retainers, Dr. Schuster suggested a super simple solution. She just trimmed off the end of my retainer and said that, given time, the tooth would likely move forward by itself. Two months later, we confirmed that it did exactly that, and since my retainers are in reasonable condition (they kindly cleaned them up for me and suggested some ways to keep them that way), she said we can just leave everything as is. So, I'm not getting food stuck anymore, and I didn't spent a dime. And they were super nice and helpful on top of that. While my experience is obviously a little out of the ordinary, from the way they treated me, I would absolutely recommend Sawyer Creek for all your orthodontia needs. If you have to get braces, this is the place to do it!

I don't have dental insurance, so after calling around town for prices (ranging from kinda high to…read morejust plain nuts), I ended up taking Glacier's $75 new patient special, which covers a cleaning, x-rays, exam -- the works. So here's the deal. They are super friendly here. Almost over the top friendly. When I arrived, they offered me something to drink, gave me a tour (I was a little confused about that part, let me tell you!), and, when I was taken to an exam room, they handed me a little gift bag with a Glacier Dental-branded insulated cup (which I've totally been using...), at which point I started looking around for the "Punk'd" cameras. But I think it's actually genuine! They were happy to discuss my concerns about x-rays (too much orthodontia as a teenager), assured me that my teeth looked great, and explained everything they were doing. The front desk wanted to take my picture for my file (wait, is this a plastic surgery clinic?), but accepted my "No" the first time without any drama. I only have two quibbles: First, the appointment took something like an hour and a half, which seems kind of long -- between the x-rays, exam, and cleaning, I did get a little antsy. However, I'm assuming that it was because it was a first appointment, so hopefully subsequent cleanings will be shorter. Second, when the hygienist recommended a fluoride treatment, it was a little like fending off offers of product from a hairdresser. I'm self-pay (not that fluoride would be covered under insurance anyway), so I wasn't really interested in spending any extra money regardless of how beneficial it might be. Overall, it was a good "new dentist" visit (and believe me, I've had about 6 of those in the last decade...). They have a nice referral program, so I'll definitely be recommending them to others, and I'm happy to go back for my next cleaning.

They will send a 1 time only link for bills or for info on your next appointment for security which I understand and appreciate, but it seemed more times than none that I would get the wrong pricings. It seems they care more about getting extensive procedures done than preventative care. I chose to get an extraction which went phenomenal in my opinion, which made me excited for Glacier, but scheduling normal cleaning appointments it seemed like it gradually got lower quality in service. My teeth felt each time overlooked of issues the more cleanings I had. I recommend choosing other than Glacier Dental.

I am young and healthy, brush and floss daily and have always been told I have beautiful, healthy teeth. At Govani, the dental hygienist scraped each of my gums with the sharp tool until they bled, then she measured my periodontal charting by poking into each gum. When Dr. Govani came in, she told me I have gingivitis and will require anesthesia for two days of "deep" cleaning because of all the tarter buildup, which would cost $800. Before scheduling anything with them, I followed up with my previous dentist and they cleaned my teeth, told me my periodontal charting was between 1-2, NO tarter, and to come back in 6 months. Govani dental must be seriously needing money by looking for anything to charge patients for.
