My bill was a 4th of what the other aspen tried to charge me for less work. The lady in finance was super helpful and worked with the details of my insurance to find the best plan. Reception was also very sweet and worked with me to fill in a lot of missing details in my history regarding my insurance. These guys rock 10/10

My experience was amazing and yes, I am talking absolutely it my routine dental cleaning and exam. The hygienist was so friendly and down to earth. The practice is nice, clean and modern. The dentist was SO friendly. For the first time ever I was told everything looked great (with the exception of a cracked crown) and I did not need any additional "work". Regarding the cracked crown...the dentist said he recommended a longer appointment to have the tooth fixed and a small cavity next to it fixed. When I asked about a temporary crown I was informed that I would be leaving with my permanent that day!!! This dentist makes his own crowns, everything taken care of at once! I was overjoyed to hear this and also impressed with needing only one more appointment. I would definitely suggest this office to anyone looking for a new dentist.

It was an old…read more"cap" that had been put on when at the age of 13, I accidentally stepped on the metal end of a rake and the wooden handle popped up and knocked my tooth in half! That was right before my 7th grade year. Because of the nerve endings forming, I had to walk around hillbilly style for the majority of that year and was called names because of it..it's fine dear reader. I am much stronger for it!:) Smiles on Calumet was able to get me in the very next day when all other area offices were booked. They too were heavily booked but explained that they would try to see me and do the best they could. That was an understatement. Not only did they find time but took the time to make a whole other tooth out of some material that was available there in the office! I understand how tricky the world of insurance is, but I feel they should have been more organized and checked this sooner. Unfortunately I had a different experience than the reviews that led me to this dentist. They do…read morefar more imaging than any other dentist I've been to, but it's very uncomfortable. They take pictures (in addition to x-rays) which is something I did not want to do as I prefer to get in and out of the dentist as soon as possible. They stick a very large flat mirror into your mouth and shoot air down it and into the back of your throat. I repeatedly asked if the pictures were absolutely necessary and said "I do not want to do this" multiple times. The assistant taking all of the pictures did not listen to me. When more than 1 staff member hears the patient saying "no", I expect that they listen. This dental practice did not meet my expectations. They were quite pushy about fluoride, with 3 people giving me the same speech about how I really should have it. Even though I explained I wanted to get in & out as soon as possible, they still kept trying to push it on me. At the end, they used a tooth shade finder that came from a cabinet and physically touched it to my tooth, and then put it directly back into the cabinet. Who knows how many mouths that's touched. I do not recommend that anyone who is scared of the dentist go here as not being listened to is very traumatic.

Extremely understanding staff with this great local dentist. Flexible payment options and a willingness to work with the patient as a person. Answered any and all questions and engaged in conversation, nothing felt rushed. Round 2 - a procedure to remove build up from above mentioned neglect. Least painful time in my life!! Round 3 - oops, missed appointment for cleaning. My bad! Round 4 - back with pain and more neglect again seen same day. Results were a fractured molar (left bottom side molar 2nd to last right in front of in tact wisdom tooth). Instantly offered to pull in office still!
